I woke up on a sunny morning, the smell of flowers in the garden outside my room made me curious to go there.
I stood in front of the window, a few people passed by. Finally a voice made me turn around. Anne came in with breakfast for me and put it on the table.
"How are you, my future Luna?" Anne asked attentively.
I replied, "I'm very well."
"Thank God, I'm very glad to hear that."
Not long after, Roseline arrived with a beautiful dress in her hand.
"Good morning, my future Luna. May I introduce myself, I am Roseline, the head Omega of this pack." Roseline bowed respectfully.
I only gave a small nod. "Yes Roseline, is there something that made you come to see me?"
Roseline approached me. "I was ordered by Alpha Jack to give you this dress, he wants to show you around."
"Can he really accept me? Until he prepares a dress for me?" I thought at that moment.
Roseline touched my arm and pulled me out of my reverie.
"Come Luna, I'll help you get ready," she offered.
My heart was relieved, the people here were so kind and reluctant towards me.
I took the dress out of her hand. "I can prepare myself, thank you."
Roseline nodded. "Then you'll have to excuse me, my future Luna."
I nodded and after she left I went to the bathroom to clean up and put on the dress that had just been provided for me.
After that I had breakfast and really enjoyed my new life. My hands felt weak when I remembered that in the past I had to go to the kitchen just to eat breakfast, everyone seemed to ignore me or even look at me.
But here everything was different, I felt completely equal.
After finishing my breakfast, I wiped the corner of my lips with a tissue until I heard a voice from outside telling me that Alpha Jack was about to enter my room.
I jumped when I saw Jack's charming smile.
"Am I disturbing you?" Jack asked as he stood in front of me.
I shook my head. "Not at all, I just finished eating."
Jack nodded. "Are you feeling better?"
"Yes," I replied briefly.
"I'm sure you must be bored in your room all day, would you like to go for a walk with me?" Jack offered as he held out his hand in front of me.
I hesitantly accepted, and we walked out of the room with Edward and his mate, Laura, who was the daughter of the head soldier.
I smiled every time I walked around this magnificent palace, and we even visited the beautiful garden where there were so many different kinds of flowers with different colors.
I couldn't help but touch them and inhale the fresh scent, while Jack immediately turned to Edward and Laura and said through the mind link that he wanted to spend some time alone with Isabella.
Laura and Edward nodded and left.
While I was busy looking at the flowers, a hand suddenly handed me a lily that was so beautiful.
I looked at Jack, the person who gave me the flower, and accepted it with a small smile. "Thank you."
Jack smiled, while Felix in there seemed to be jumping up and down, happy to get a smile from his mate.
"Do you like it?" Jack asked.
I replied, "Yes, it's very nice and it smells good too."
"Actually I know you may not be ready to accept me as your mate. But can we come closer to get to know each other better?" Jack's eyes implied hope.
Actually, I didn't really care about mates, and yes, I was still traumatized by Xavier, but considering that Jack had been good to me, I finally nodded in agreement, even though I wasn't sure of myself.
"Thank you, Bella," Jack said, smiling again.
Suddenly I remembered something. "Jack, thanks for the dress, I really like it."
"No problem, if you want I can order other dresses for you from the designers," Jack said seriously.
"No need to bother," I said reluctantly.
Jack took a breath and grabbed one of my hands, but because I felt uncomfortable, I let go.
"Sorry Jack, I'm not used to it yet," I said.
It seemed that Jack was very disappointed in me, of course I knew that because he had given me a sign.
"It's okay, I understand," Jack said, trying to relax.
"Why don't we go back and have a look around?" I asked, still curious about all the rooms in the palace.
"Sure, with pleasure."
Finally, we both walked around the palace, where everyone we passed immediately greeted and saluted us.
"I am curious about what you discussed with the elders last night. Didn't you say you discussed the seal I have?" I asked, trying to find something to talk about.
Jack was silent for a while and then replied, "Most likely your powers and even your wolf side are trapped because of that seal. "
"Then how can I meet Eve?" I asked quickly.
Jack's eyebrows knitted together. "Eve?" he repeated.
I nodded. "That's the name of my wolf side, last night I dreamed of meeting a woman so elegant, her face so radiant, she said she was the moon goddess."
Jack was surprised. "Did the moon goddess say anything to you?"
I told him quickly. "The Moon Goddess just asked me to be patient if I wanted to meet Eve, I don't know exactly why the Moon Goddess also said something about the peace of the werewolf nation."
Jack looked tense when he heard that. "Really?"
"Why are you surprised? Do you know something about me and all this and how it relates to Eve?"
Jack shook his head quickly, but I was sure that Jack was hiding something from me.
"I'm still waiting to hear from the Elders, and I hope you get to meet Eve." Jack then took one of my hands without any resistance from me. "Whatever happens, I will try to get you and Eve together."
My heart was touched to see Jack's kindness, which seemed so sincere.
"Thank you, Jack!" I hugged him happily.
Unbeknownst to me, Jack smiled back, his heart pounding, even Felix was excited inside.
"Jack, I'm sure Isabella will accept us soon," Felix said through his mind link.
Jack gave a small nod and hugged me.
I came to my senses and quickly pulled away, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear as I said, "Sorry if I was presumptuous."
"It's okay, I don't mind at all," Jack replied.
