"Hey there, Hideki Ryuuga!"
Zeo had the same strange grin on his face which he had earlier. He looked totally different from the person he was about thirty minutes ago. Hideki was freaking out by Zeo's expression. He was shocked and a bit scared after seeing him.
(He is a totally different person now! Did he knew all about it from the start!? It was stupid of me to think that he was dumb! So, this is his true personality huh!? This guy is a menace!)
Hideki's expression shifted; he put his hands into the pocket of his pants. He looked serious, ready to face him. Both guys locked eyes, tension rising.
"You knew about it, didn't you?"
Hideki asked seriously, but Zeo pretended he didn't understand.
"I don't know what you're talking about?"
"Don't lie to me! You knew about my true personality, right!?
Zeo closed his eyes and smiled. He was a bit surprised by him too.
"Oh i see. You're a smart one, aren't you Hideki!? Well, yes. Ofcourse, I knew about it."
Hideki looked really curious as if he wanted to know how he figured it out. Zeo, after seeing Hideki with a curious face, laughed a bit, then started smiling as he was looking at him with pity in his eyes.
"You want to know, huh!?"
Hideki became frustrated. He was a bit scared too after seeing Zeo, having this kind of change in his personality.
"So, you really wanna know, huh!? Fine, I'll tell you."
Hideki maintained the serious look on his face as he was listening to him carefully.
"I had my suspicions at first, but soon, it got confirmed."
"And h-how is that!?"
"Hmph... Well, the thing is... When I asked for your name, you struggled a bit while telling me right? When you said it's Hideki Ryu- by mistake and then tried to cover it up by the fake surname Michiro, that was when I got my suspicions because it seemed that, you had made that up your self. And, I confirmed my suspicions when I asked you about your mask. You were startled by my question and you even accepted the theory that I made up for you. However, I was really surprised by your acting skills. For a moment, you even made me believe my own made up theory."
"B-But... these are very small clues for someone, to figure it out. How did you!?"
"Well... I guess, it isn't hard for your biggest fan."
"Huh? What do you mean?"
Hideki became confused.
"Yes! That's right! I am your biggest fan, Mr.Hideki!"
"Huuuuuuuh!?"
All of the sudden, Zeo's expressions changed. He looked very happy and his eyes were shining like stars. Hideki couldn't believe his eyes by seeing the sudden change in the personality.
(This guy can change his personality any second! That aside, he's my fan! That's the worst case scenario I was imagining! Crap! I'm screwed for sure! But, if he knew about it from before, he didn't tell anyone. Maybe, just maybe, if I tell him the situation, he'll be willing to help me?)
"I've seen every single movie of your's, and I've loved every single one of it. I love your acting, I love your looks, I love your perfectly shaped muscular body-."
Hideki interrupted.
"I'm happy that you like me so much. I really am. But, can I ask you a favour?"
"You don't need to ask me that. I'll do anything you say, Mr.Hideki!"
"Well... First of all... Would you stop calling me Mr.Hideki? You can just call me Hideki."
"Thank you very much! I'll be honoured to! Anything else!?"
"Yes! Let's get to the main point then. I want you to keep this a secret from everyone. Can you?"
"Well, ofcourse I can, but, why don't you want anyone to know?"
Hideki sighed for a moment. He whispered to himself in a very low tone.
"Yeah... I guess I was right. He is a bit dumb."
"Huh?"
"Oh it's nothing. Don't worry about it. So, to tell you the truth, the reason for it is that, I don't want any sort of attention. And, after seeing your popularity, there is literally no way, I'm revealing my identity to anyone nor do I want you to also."
"I see."
"If I did, what would be the point of leaving everyone behind. Ren, Shu and everyone else. Specially, my beloved sister Ren."
"You have a sister? But I've never heard of it."
"Ofcourse you haven't. I haven't made it public that Ren Ryuuga from Vivid Quintet is my sister."
"What!? You're kidding me! That Ren is you're sister!?"
Hideki looked at him confused. Zeo was amazed by what Hideki had told him. He cleared his throat and then started speaking again.
"Well, I guess it isn't that big of a deal."
(To think of it, they both look alike very much. Then, how could I not figure it out?)
Zeo was lost in his deep thoughts that suddenly the bell rang. Break time was over.
"Oh, the bell is ringing. Maybe, it's time to go back to the class. Let's go Zeo."
Zeo stopped, and Hideki with himself too. He looked like that he wanted to say something important.
"Hey Hideki?"
"Yeah!"
Zeo looked like as if he had some kind of strong urge.
"I promise, that I'll keep your identity a secret. But, in return... you have to be my friend... Best friend!"
Hideki looked at him with a smile of satisfaction on his face and put his hand on Zeo's shoulder as he was looking down.
"Lift your head up, Zeo! You idiot! How could you even say such a thing. I am your friend, your best friend!"
Zeo, after hearing these words, couldn't control his joy and gave off a bright smile.
"Thank you very much, Hideki!"
"Don't mention it. Let's go to the classroom now."
"Yeah, you're right!"
(Thank you very much indeed, Hideki!)
As, they both had no business there anymore, Hideki put on his mask and contacts, and both the guys went into the school building through the back entrance. After sometime, they reached their class. They opened the door and saw that the teacher was already there.
They both looked at eachother.
"Hey Zeo, don't tell me, were screwed."
"Well, I guess."
The teacher looked really furious. He took off his glasses and looked at them with his slightly opened eyes.
"You both are 15 minutes late! I guess, it won't hurt if you stand outside the class for 15 minutes too!"
They both had an awkward smile on their faces and they were a bit embarrassed too.
"Well, I guess, he's right. Let's go Hideki."
"Y-Yeah I guess."
The whole class was amazed by seeing them acting so frankly. They started their gossip again.
"They've become good friends, haven't they?"
"Well, I think, we can't deny it after all, can we?"
"Yeah, I guess."
They all were so frustrated and pissed off but the fact was undeniable as they had seen it by their own two eyes. As, they all were continuing their noisy talks, Akari stood up, irritated by the atmosphere.
"Silence everyone! We are in class! You can continue these talks somewhere else!"
Her coldness almost frightened everyone but the guys even enjoyed that part of her as she was the most beautiful girl in the class. Everyone quickly obeyed her and returned their attention back to the teacher as Zeo and Hideki walked out. Akari sat down after doing her job. Somehow, she had a soft smile on her face.
(Thank you Hideki Michiro! For being friends with Zeo.)
Both, Hideki and Zeo were standing outside joking and laughing.
"Well, It isn't so bad standing here, outside."
"Yeah you're right, Zeo!"
"Hey Hideki! Thanks again for accepting my request, I owe you one, really."
"Me too, Zeo!"
They both looked at each other and smiled. Time flew by and they both were brought back to the class by the next teacher. They both sat on their seats. Hideki was looking at Akari feeling a bit upset. She was not looking at him even for a second. Sometimes, she would talk to Zeo but, she was ignoring him like he wasn't even there.
(Maybe, I should try to make up with her later.)
Soon after two more lectures, school ended. Akari had already left the classroom with everyone else. The only two people left there were, Hideki and Zeo.
"Hey Hideki, why don't we head home together?"
"Well, I do have to buy some food and other stuff too so-."
"Well, there is a convenience store nearby. You can buy anything you want, there."
"But, aren't your friends waiting for you?"
"Well... I usually go home with Akari."
"Then you shouldn't leave your girlfriend waiting. Go home with her. I'm okay by myself."
"Well... Akari is not my girlfriend. I think, you've got the wrong idea."
"Huh? She's not! But, you're the only guy, she talks to!"
"Well... That's because, we're childhood friends."
"Really?"
"Hmm. Then, why don't we go home together. I have many questions in mind that I have to ask you, and maybe, you may have some too."
Hideki smiled at him once again.
"Well... I guess, you're right then. Let's go."
