You think back to the buildings that might provide both shelter and information. You don't want those Smithies at the church asking questions about you, but you could conduct research at the town offices or ask around at that restaurant the shuttle passed. Even if you don't learn anything, it's better than being caught out in the open when the storm breaks, or enduring the wet, stinking warmth of the barn.
Though…maybe you could stay. Something is definitely out there. You could hide in that old truck within sight of the barn and see what comes out of the woods.
I consider how to approach people at the restaurant.
I consider what the town offices might offer.
I check out that truck. Could I hide in there and wait for whatever is in the woods?
