It's time to put a roof over your head.
Since you don't have a phone, you go to Epicycle and use the phone there. The call connects immediately.
"Al Goultier."
"Um, hi, I spoke with my friend Elton about an available unit—"
"You got a job, kid?"
"I work at Epicycle, a bike store on—"
"Jesus Christ kid I didn't ask how your mother met your father, shut up. Just get your supervisor to indicate that you're gainfully employed, I need it for insurance purposes. And bring the card from Mr. Dey, and come to—Hey Todd, what do we have?"
Muttering from the other end of the line, then Al Goultier reads off an address that's a half hour away on foot.
"Can you handle those two things?" he snaps.
"Are you talking to me or Todd—"
He's hung up.
