Kings Hand Camp – Aftermath
Lady Nessa stood among the wreckage, her armor dented, her face pale with exhaustion.
Around her, the broken remnants of the Kings Hand littered the field—dozens of bodies, twisted and bloodied, sprawled among the burnt grass and fallen weapons.
The stench of death hung heavy in the air.
Logan and Landen, the L twins, stood silently behind her.
They bore minor wounds but looked just as drained.
Nessa's green eyes flicked across the battlefield, taking in the devastation.
"It's over," she whispered, her voice hollow.
Logan glanced at her, hesitant. "My Lady, we—"
And then it happened.
Her words stopped.
The world around her vanished.
Her legs gave out as her senses disappeared.
The metallic scent of blood, the distant cries of survivors, the heat of the air—gone.
Darkness swallowed everything.
"You have passed."
