It was a slow, methodical dismantling.
"Come on, Brutus!" one of his lackeys shouted from the crowd, trying to rally him. "You're better than this!"
Brutus shot a glare at his posse, but even they seemed less confident now, their eyes darting between him and Aziz.
Finally, Brutus managed to create a sliver of distance between them. His chest heaved, sweat dripping from his brow as he stared daggers at Aziz. His hand twitched as though he was about to call upon his internal energy.
Aziz's eyes narrowed slightly, catching the movement. His stance shifted, ready to counter whatever was coming.
But then, the crowd began to murmur. Someone shouted, "Don't even think about it!"
Another voice rose above the others, dripping with disdain, "You're really going to use internal energy against a first-year? How pathetic."
