Morrigan leaned on the door frame, arms crossed. "Did you plan this?"
Will didn't look up and continued to working on his device. "Plan what?"
"Aris just told me you had him rescue—Kazuo."
"I did."
Morrigan pushed off the frame, stepping closer. "But how? How could you know the city would go dark?"
"I didn't," Will reached for a smaller tool. "When your psycho brother played his wolf game, I took a chance and sent Aris after Kazuo. It's the perfect timing. With Guy not being there to do the surveillance, Jean-Claude would have had a hard time locating Aris' hack."
Morrigan was taken aback by William's brilliance in strategy. Now she understood why Marie handpicked him to lead their team. Every move he made seemed calculated, proving that he truly knew what he was doing. Morrigan realized that she had underestimated William's capabilities, and felt a sense of admiration for him.
"Where is he now?" she asked.
