Nakamura shook his head. "Not at all. I prefer the human experience – the food, the vulnerabilities, all of it."
"How about living forever?"
"Eternal life? More like a curse if you ask me."
"How so?"
The doctor set down his sandwich. "Think about it. You'd never grow old with the people you love. You'd watch everyone around you die, century after century. And the horrors you'd witness over time... No, I'd rather be six feet under than deal with all that crap."
