So strong!

My stats are more than double than what there were last time! I can't believe evolving increased my strength by so much!

My level has been reset back down to 1, but I'm still loads stronger than I was before, and I can even see how much xp I need now!

I'm not to sure what the rank bit is about though... OH yeah! the system said I can ask it questions now.

"system what does rank mean?"

[ A beasts or monsters rank signifies what evolution stage they are currently at. There are 13 different ranks, unclassified, rank 1-10, Demi-god and god]

Oh it really does answer! And god rank? does that mean if I evolve enough I can become a god? Surely it can't be that simple...

I assume unclassified is the lowest rank, but if so how am I already rank 2? I've only evolved once so shouldn't I be rank 1?

"system why am I rank 2?"

...

Why's it not answering? It answered my last question.

Oh well, I suppose I'll figure it out my self at some point. I've still got so many stat points to allocate. I think I'll use 2 on intelligence to bring my MP up to 300 and save the other 11. I'm not sure what to upgrade at the moment and don't want to waste them.

Next up is my skill points! I have 140 witch means I can buy a new skill! There wasn't really any in the skill shop I wanted to buy. danger sense was the only one I was considering but i'm hoping there's new skills in there now I have more skill points.

"skill shop!"

[skill shop]

roar- 100 skill points

danger sense- 100 skill points

void claw- 100 skill points

prediction- 100 skill points

throw- 100 skill points

shadow resistance- 100 skill points

shadow steps- 100 skill points

Oh there are some new ones! Void claw sounds interesting, so i'll check that one first.

[void claw]

[ imbues the claw with the power of the void to release a powerful scratch attack.]

[cost: 5 MP]

[cooldown: none]

It sounds powerful, and I do need another attack... I'll properly end up getting this one but I'm going to check prediction and shadow steps first.

[prediction]

[A passive skill that enables the user to better predict the movement/attacks of enemies.]

[cost: none]

[cooldown: none]

This one seems quite promising as well! It would defiantly be useful in a fight, especially if the enemy is faster than me.

[shadow steps]

[covers the users feet in shadows, enabling the user to travel without making any sounds or leaving any traces.]

[cost: 1 MP every 10 seconds]

[cooldown: none]

Shadow steps sound good but I wonder if I could do this with my shadow magic? I'll have to give it a try soon, I don't want to waste my skill points on a skill I can learn by my self. So it's out of void claws and prediction. At the moment i'm leaning more towards void claws but I'm wondering why everything only cost 100 skill points.

"system why do all the skills cost 100 skill points?"

[user can only see skills they can afford.]

Ohh that makes sense, so now the question is should I buy void claws or should I save up my skill points to see what else I can get...

Screw it! i'm just going to grab void claws for now, ill start saving for a more expensive skill after.

"Purchase void claw!"

[would you like to purchase void claw for 100 skill points?]

[yes/no]

"Yes!"

[you have purchased void claw level 1]

[ding!]

[scratch fused with void claw]

[void claw levelled up to level 3]

Well that was unexpected...

Does this mean I can't use scratch anymore then?

I try using scratch but nothing really happens, my claws still extend a bit so I suppose I can still scratch something, but I can tell that it has no where near as much power in it as before. I guess that's the power of skills.

Next I try out void claw, my claws glow a dark purple and as I strike down, three purple trails follow my movement. I don't attack anything in particular, but I can already tell that it's much more powerful than scratch was even though it's a level lower.

Haha I feel loads stronger now! Maybe I'll even be able to kill that giant spider I had to run away from! Actually thinking about it, I'm properly still not strong enough. The dream stalker was properly the same rank I am now, hence why I got the title for killing it. I bet the giant spider is at least another rank above me.

"Sigh..."

I still have a long way to go if I want to be strong enough to survive without worrying about anything.

Wait a minute! I've just realised I should be able to check what the skills I already have do now! I can finally see what that anger skill does!

"system, what's the anger skill do?"

[anger]

[automatically activates when the user feels great anger towards an enemy. Grants double damage to all attacks but doubles all damaged received. WARNING! Prolonged use of this skill will result in a decrease of users rationality!]

[cost: none]

[cooldown: none]

Huh? I don't want this skill!

Who in their right mind would want a skill that can make them lose their rationality! The double damage is good but at the cost of receiving double damage as well, it's just not worth it! If I lose my rationality, there's a chance i'm not going to care about getting hit, and if that happens I can only see my self dying.

"System can I get rid of anger?"

...

No answer! Of course it wasn't going to be that easy! I need to do my upmost best not to get angry at anything. I don't want to end up using this skill at all!

"Growl"

I'm awaken from my thoughts by the sound of my stomach growling.

Ahh I haven't eaten in at lease to days! I'm really starting to starve. I need to try and find a way out of this cavern as soon as possible, otherwise I really will starve to death.
