"Errm are you John?"
I hear a soft voice ask. I turn round to see a a short girl with orange hair looking at me. I could see her sapphire blue eyes glance over me with a nervous expression.
"...yeah" I nod quietly.
"It's me Sophie! I so glad to finally meet you." Quickly giving me a hug.
I could feel her moderately sized breasts pressing against my chest as I seized up unsure how to act. I glanced down to see he looking up at me with a beautiful smile, she had a slight blush on her face complementing her fair skin.
As I come to my senses I give her one armed hug back.
"I-I'm g-g-glad to meet you too"
I couldn't believe how beautiful she was, or that she was actually hugging me! I thought she might have taken one look at me and would walk past me, but here she was hugging me as if it was the natural thing to do!
"You don't have to be so nervous, just think of it like we're going to get some new equipment like we do in adventure simulator. We talk to each other everyday on the game."
"Y-yeah your r-right"
I couldn't help but stutter as I let go of her. I was already nervous being in such a crowded space but combine that with her cute smile as she looked at me, and there was no way I was going to be able to calm down.
"Your even more handsome than I thought you were going to be, you put your self down too much when you described how you looked."
"S-s-sorry, your really b-beautiful aswell."
"Shall we go inside? I want to get a picture with the demon lord befor the line gets to long."
Without even waiting for a reply she grabbed my hand and started pulling me along.
I blushed with embarrassment as I let my self be pulled along.
As we got to the entrance she turned and looked at me with a little bit of concern on her face.
"Are you allright, I know you said you don't like being in crowded places but I really want the shadow boots for my character, and I think there's a few item that would be good for your character aswell."
"Y-yeah I'm fine, I'm feeling a bit less nervous n-now."
I was lying, but I didn't want her to think I was a wimp, plus I had already promised I would go with her so I wasn't going to back out now.
"Good!" She smiled.
I blushed again as she smiled at me, I couldn't help it her smile was too cute for me to even think straight. I was looking everywhere but her as I tried to hide my blush, because of that I didn't even notice as we got to the the front of the queue to get in.
"Tickets for two please"
I came back to my senses just in time to see her pay for both tickets. I was shocked, I always had to pay for everyone with my ex. This was the 1st time someone other than my parents had paid for anything for me.
"I would have paid.."I mumbled
"Oh don't worry about it, I'm the one who invited you anyways so it's the least I can do."
"Allright, s-shall we get some d-drinks first? I-I'll pay this time."
"Yeah allright then, we can get the on the way to see the demon lord" she said looking at the map we got with our tickets.
Arfter getting the drinks we took pictures with the demon lord and got the signature from the voice actor, we browsed around the stalls and collected some codes for some in game items.
I was starting to feel less nervous as time went on, we were chatting just like we were in game and I was feeling glad that we had done this. I was feeling alot closer to Sophie. I couldn't help comparing her to my ex, she didn't ask me to buy her anything and every time I tried she would decline and quickly pay for it herself saying there was no need. She even tried paying for a couple of things that I brought, witch I declined saying it would be unfair.
"Shall we get something to eat and take a break?" She asked
"Yeah sure, what should we get?" I asked.
I wasn't stuttering any more,feeling a lot more comfortable talking to her.
" there's a stand the sells food from the tavern in game, we can try that and go up to the roof where there's less people to eat it if you want?"
"Yeah sure, I want to try there mixed monster meat skewers."
"I wanted to try them aswell, do you mind grabbing them whilst I go to the ladies room. We can meet up on the roof after? Oh and I'll give you the money back when you get there."
"Yeah okays then, and don't worry about giving me the money back, it's thanks to you that I came here today so it can be my thank you for inviting me."
"Thank you! I'll meet you up there." She smiled, causing me to blush yet again.
After that she left to go to the ladies room whilst I went to get the skewers, obviously they weren't real monster meat, just various different meats such as beef, pork, lamb and chicken.
Once I had bought the skewers I made my way up to the roof, when I got there I could see Sophie leaning on the railing typing away on her phone, there wasn't anyone els up here so it seemed the perfect place to take a break and eat.
As I got closer to Sophie she noticed me and quickly put her phone away, smiling at me cursing me to blush for the hundredth time today.
"Ah thank you! I'm starving. Are you sure you don't want the money back for them?"
"It's fine really, I've had a lot of fun today and it's all thanks to you. It's the least I can do to thank you for inviting me here."
"Well in that case thanks! Lets eat."
We sat there eating, making small talk for about five minutes when we heard the door open.
Turning around to see who who had arrived I froze. A gorgeous blonde girl whith piercing green eyes walking towards me. Her huge breasts bouncing with each step she took. Her hips swaying as she got closer and closer. Her arm was entwined with a tall muscular man's, both of them smirking as they looked straight at me.
"Long time no see John, I haven't seen you since your parents funeral."
The muscular man said. He was my older cousin Blake, my fathers, older brothers son. Even when my parents were alive I hardly ever spoke to him, and the few times I did he would always try to belittle me and push me around. But him being here wasn't what shocked me the most, it was the girl next to him. Her name was Alex and she was my ex. The same ex that cheated on me with my best friend.
I just couldn't understand why she was here, and with Blake of all people.
"W-w-what are you doing h-here?
I managed to say looking at Alex.
Before she could even answer I was grabbed and shoved against the railing.
"Don't fucking ignor me when I'm talking to you! And don't talk to my girl!"
"Y-your girl?" I asked in shock looking at Blake.
"Yeah my girl!" He said putting his arm around Alex and pulling her closer to him.
"I-I-I thought she's was with Jake." I stammered barely managing to get my words out.
"I broke if with that broke boy ages ago" Alex giggled whilst smirking at me.
I looked at her not knowing what to say, my head was a mess. I never wanted to see Alex again but here she was, I don't know why she's here but all the old feelings or hurt and betrayal resurface in my mind.
Suddenly I was grabbed and slammed against the railing.
"Who told you you can look at her? I never liked you, always thinking you were better than me just because you parents money, even now you inherited all of it but just sit at home wasting it! It should have gone to my father! At least we would have but it to use!"
"Enough! Just get this over with. I don't waste 6 months trying to get him out of the house just so you can talk to him." A soft voice said
It was Sophie. I looked at her trying to process what I had just heard, I couldn't even speak, it was as if my brain had just short circuited. All I could do was look at her as she stared at me whith a disgusted look on her face.
"Fine."
With my mind still trying to process what Sophie had just said I was shoved a lot harder than I had been the previous times, hard enough to flip over the railing and start falling.
I had finally processed what Sophie said, and I understood what it ment.
I had been betrayed.
Right from the start it was all a set up.
As I was falling the disbelief I felt vanished, quickly replaced by anger.
I should have known.
People are all the same.
Perhaps it's just human nature.
I hate it!
I hate people!
I hate the fact I'm the same species as these disgusting creatures!
If there is a next life I hope I'm not human, I hope they all die out, there just a plague to this world.
With them last thought everything went dark, I died ironically landing in front of the same fox statue I met Sophie at this morning...
