ELIJAH
I went back to my office, furious and agitated. There was nothing much I could do but to finally talk to Mother about Xavier. Sometimes, I wondered why she counted so much on him and overlooked me in so many ways. I was her child as well.
I closed the document I was working on, pocked up my coat and headed for the door. I met my secretary just outside my office making a call and immediately she sees me, she hugs up, standing in shame.
"I have told you countless time not to make useless calls during working hours."
"I'm so sorry sir. I won't ever do such a thing again." She apologized but I couldn't even look at her. Sometimes, I regret hiring someone as incompetent as her.
"I'm going out for a moment, I want you to finish editing those documents before tomorrow, I won't be back till I'm done so I'll see you tomorrow." I told her before angrily walking away. I was passed abd the reason was not just because of my stupid secretary.
