"ROBOTNIK!?? WHERE ARE YOU, YOU BASTARD!!? SO I CAN PUNCH YOUR FACE IN!!"
Hori said, her face full of rage and hatred.
"Always so vengeful Hori, well aren't you a little bundle of joy."
Robotnik's voice dripping with sarcasm.
Some members of the group were holding her back trying to Calm her down.
To say I was surprised was an understatement, even if I had the memories of my predecessor, even if I knew this voice as the man that the previous Shinichiro called Father, to me he was different, to me he was the genius Doctor, who was responsible for making a being i call the 'living cure and the ultimate life form' in a different universe.
That is who Gerald Robotnik was to me, a mere character cooked up by the creative genius of the cartoonists and producers of the company called 'SEGA'. But right now, I knew in the depths of my heart that the voice I was hearing was his, a fictional character now come to life as a real person, a being now part of my world, the real world.
'There's no way I'm in the sonic universe, human experimentation was not much of a thing there, but i cant deny the possibility. I'll deal with this later, I've got more pressing matters right now..'
"Doctor? Is that you Doctor?? Where are you, what happened to you?!"
I said much to my surprise, I didn't expect to react to his voice in such a way.
"Calm down my boy I don't have much time..listen to me I've managed to find a way to plan an escape route for you, with your quirk it shouldn't take long for you to reach there, once you get there you have to type in the exact codes I'll send to you. That area is mostly used in transporting new kids for experimentation and study. Search one of the soldiers for their communicators."
Doing as he instructed I approached the nearest soldier, searching for the device, later finding it in one of the many pouches on his vest. Yh device looked just like a phone but with more modifications.
" OK now find the main control room, there should be one 500-meters ahead, once your there plug the device into the system so that from there I'll be able to navigate your best routes for escape. "
Although he was talking a lot about getting me out of here, he still hadn't given me an answer to the question.that plagued me right now.
"But Doctor even with my speed how do I get the rest of the kid's out of here."
"You don't."
Says the Doctor casually.

His response left both the group and I shocked. The frown on Hori's face deepened, the previously joyful children were either shocked, shaken or angry with a mix of fear. Safe to say he had officially his already low reputation among the kids had plummeted to an all time low.
"It's more logical to let you escape and get back up and support from the heroes, than to possibly risk losing you in the cross fire of trying to carry dead weight to escape point."
What?
How could he say such a thing? Why would I leave these kids here to fend for themselves? Even if the possibility of escape is low I still want to try.
I couldn't control myself, my anger took over.
"What do you mean I don't? CAN'T POSSIBLY LEAVE THEM HERE!" I say in indignation and disgust from his lack of sympathy.
"Lower your voice boy it's unsightly for a male to lose his composure. Be smart about this, if you rush out of here and get more help you'll have a better chance of reducing the casualties on your end. Well what do you say boy?"
Logically speaking he's right but....
Looking around the white halls I take in the view as I stare at children, most not older than five years old, hell the only people older than that were Hori and I, even with that we were barely nine years old!
Most of us here have spent our entire lives here, never seeing the light of day before.
No matter what it takes, I have to get these kids out of here.

[ CONTROL ROOM ]
-[ Dr Gyudai Giraki ]-
Dr Gyudai Giraki was constantly checking the security footage before him, with such vigour, that he forgot his current predicament.
The video he was watching in repeat was the encounter between Shinichiro and the useless soldiers.
To say he was baffled was understatement, he had underestimated the true power of experiment 626, he had always deduced that the boy never showed his true power during the experiments but he never expected it to be by this much. But..
A grin spread across his face, he still had the upper hand, even with the communication system down, he could still redeem himself before his master found out. The boy hasn't realised his true potential yet, if that's the case the situation can still be resolved.
He would send out one of the proto types after the boy, the rest of the children would be sedated and harsher experiments would be done on them, the rebellious and stubborn ones, they would be used to make more prototypes of project: Nomu.
But first he needed to take care of that damned Robotnik, as much of a pain as the man was his A.I was really a work of genius, no matter what protocol I put in place to get the communication system back online the Intelligence counteracts It with a protocol of its own.
This could take a while....

Fine.
I've made my choice.
I just hope I won't regret it.
"Even if there's a low chance of escape I still want to escape with all of them."
Silence.
My response was met with silence, for a moment i panicked thinking that my response had caused him to abandon us.
" Sigh... As always your ever so stubborn. Fine. Although your chances of escape are now drastically lowered, it's still possible to escape with your lives."
"How do I do it Doctor?"
"Listen closely..."

Shinichiro is seen running down the halls of the facility, encountering a few soldiers here and there before dispatching them. Finally he makes it to his destination: The control room.
Looking around the corner, he sees the place is not guarded.
Well that's totally not suspicious.
But nevertheless he kept his guard up as he approached the room.
Using the device in hand that doubled as an access key and a mini map of the area, he unlocked the door of the room.
Still nothing.
He released a breath that he didn't even know that he was holding.
Suspicious but the lack of noticeable danger was a welcome one.
Looking around the room, he noticed the many computers and displays that were all connected to one main processing unit.
Plugging his device into the system, the systems display came to life then changed to that of the egg man empires logo.
'Like grandfather like grandson I guess'
[ *DING* ]
'Sounds like the transfer was a success.'
He left the room as fast as he came.

But before he could run back to the group, a creature ambushed him.
" Ack! "
The pain of landing face first on the ground prevented him from blocking the next attack. The weight of the beast pinning him down.
The next attack was a bite.
It dug its beastly fangs into the back of Shinichiro's shoulder.
'Crap, crap, crap,crap, crap!! '
The feeling of his flesh being torn caused him to scream in anguish. The strength of bite succesively getting stronger by the second, he knew that in a few moments that the bones in his shoulder would be broken if he doesn't intervene.
'Damn it!? What the hell is this thing?!'
With no time to spare Shinichiro tries to rid himself of.the beast but to no avail.
The energy in his body he could feel that it had built up.
So he takes a drastic action.
He releases the energy in himself outward.
" Hah! "
[ *BOOM* ]
The effect was immediate.
The beast was sent flying off him, and found itself embedded in the ceiling above. The beast was concious but its nerves were fried making it almost impossible for it to move.
The attack had left Shinichiro drained but he was thankful that he had finally got the beast off him.
Taking a look at the beast he froze in shock.
The beast took the form of a heteromorph, one with a wolf like ability, but it lacked eyes and had some sort of gill like thing on its neck, with a crooked bird shaped mask on its face and an exposed brain to top it off. It's hands were human like in nature but with the added advantage of sharp claws for attacking and inhibiting the movement of its prey.
No what shocked him wasn't what the monster looked like, what shocked him was the only world that had this type of beast was...
'...Well shit. I'm in My hero Academia.... that explains the facility then, its one of All for one's (AFO) Nomu breeding grounds.....'
he felt the wounded area of his shoulder.

what followed was the painful sting from acid, he felt caused him to wince in pain, the feeling of his wound peeling and bubbling from the acid. He clenched his teeth in pain.
he knew he didn't have enough time, so while wounded, he sped off in the direction of the group.

Unknown to Shinichiro, it would have been better for him to have put down the beast, because in the mind of the animal this was not the end of their fight, not by a long shot.

Checking the timer on the device he sees...
[ 02:45:47 ]
Good he still has enought time.
[ A few minutes ago... ]
"Listen closely my boy... we don't have enought time so we have to rush things a bit. First, your still going to have to go to the main control room to get the access code to the gates. After that, you return back here so you can escape with the rest of your group."
" your going to need young Hori's quirk to escape, with her quirk [ Rose Shield ] , she'll have to form a bubble shield around your group. While you, Shinichiro will have to push the ball at your top speed in order to give it the momentum needed to avoid putting you guys in danger, except for you Shinichiro."
Hori's frown deepened at the statement.
"I'm fine with that. As long as the others are safe, I'm willing to take that risk."
The scowl on Hori's face softened into a slight smile, but there was a flicker of concern in her eyes .
"Sigh....always so selfless...fine your time is limited though. I can feel my control over the facilities system dwindling by the minute, that damn Doctor always trying to one up me in anyway."
"Also Shinichiro, if you are to ever encounter any unsightly creatures on your way and by that i mean mindless bio-weapons your best option would be to run away from said beast.."
"...Understood."
" I'll do my best to hold off that pest of a Doctor. But Shinichiro my boy... please be safe."
The transmission with the Doctor ended there.

Making a quick pit stop to gather himself.
'That attack really took a lot out of me, I lost a lot of stamina from doing that attack.
The pain from his wound a fresh reminder of his carelessness. Feeling the place, the sizzling from the acid had long stopped but the damage from the bite was inhibiting him from functioning properly.
Tearing his blood stained white shirt he makes a poorly shaped make shift bandage wrapping around the wound, while making use of a ton of cloth to try to stop the bleeding.
All he was left with was an awkward looking bandage on his left shoulder.
"It will have to do for now..'
Peeking to the timer again he sees.
[ 02:14:25 ]
'Shit. Too much time has passed, I've got to hurry back.'
Grabbing the remains of his shirt he ties it like a cloak around his neck to hide the wound on his shoulder.
Picking up the pace again he races towards Hori and her group inorder to carry out the last step of the plan.

He takes off leaving the wind behind to chase after him.

Regrouping with Hori who seems to be a bit tense as she instinctually attacks him when he arrives next to her. The only thing stopping her from doing it was the surprising amount of self control she had for a kid her age.
The kids under her leadership had weary and tired expressions.
The tension in the group was noticeable, these kids had been through so much at their young age...the fear of never amounting to anything more than a tool for someone else's ambitions, they've felt that. No matter what happens it'll take a while before they'll be able to trust anyone.
'What a cruel world this is..'
'But what if the doctor is right? Should I simply get back up from the heroes? What if my selfishness gets them killed? I'm not strong enough to save them..damnit-'

He felt a slender hand slip into his, he looked towards the owner as he saw Hori staring back at him with a forced smile on her face, her smile could fool the others but it couldn't fool me.
In my grip I could feel it, she was shaking. She was scared of possibly dying , or maybe something worse , she was afraid of failing the kids she had learned to love with time.
So she kept a brave front for them but was slowly breaking inside.
How pathetic of me.
[ *PA* ]

Slapping his palms to his face, red palm prints were left on my face. Ow.
'Tch get yourself together Shinichiro! you can't start doubting yourself now, you've come to far! If I want all of us to escape here with our lives I'll just have to make it happen. Nothing starts of you don't take action.'
Unknowingly a grin spread across my face.
"Okay guys.. it's time to get out of here!!!"

Observing the interactions of the experiment was a breath of fresh air for me. It reminded me that even when a genius like Robotnik tries to imitate his own genius in the form of an Artificial intelligence, an imitation is still an imitation.
This mistake would be the undoing of his beloved Experiment 626.
I had managed to recover around 45% control of the facility systems from the comfort of one of the surveillance rooms of the facility, with a few staff members and soldiers standing by incase they encounter an intruder.
While the boy went to do a data transfer in the main control room I had already sent the remaining forces down to the entrance that they planned to use as an escape route.
The proto type merely served as a distraction to delay ans slow the boy down. Alas for it to be defeated by a mere child of nine years old, just shows how much of a threat the boy will be if left unchecked. No matter those things were built to last, the poor thing should be on the boys trail right about now.

After Shinichiro's bold cry of determination. The group was in high spirits, the confidence he showed brought a smile to our faces.
Feeling someone approach me, I turned to see who it was and as expected it was the little dare devil himself, Shinichiro.
His blue hair dishevelled from the constant battle, the bags on his eyes slowly starting to creep in from his lack of stamina. Tch. Why does he always have to push himself like this?
Before I could berate him for his reckless he snapped his head in the direction he just came from with such speed that my heart flickered for a moment, fearing that he may have mistakenly killed himself.
What was it he noticed that I didn't?
Hastily he put the communication device he snatched from the soldier earlier in my hand.
" The pass code for entrance is already installed on the device, you and the kids should get out of here, I've got to check something out I'll catch up to you guys soon!"
He said as he took a running stance.
"Wait you don't even know where the entrance is? How are you gonna catch up?"
"Don't worry I memorised the map!"
"Wait but your stil-"

'....Injured.'
And there he goes.
"OK EVERYONE, FOLLOW ME!".

That nomu was awake, i dont know how but its awake. If it reaches them before they can get to the entrance it'll be disastrous.
I could feel the wound on my shoulder flaring up again, it's coming I can sense it.
The hospital like halls of the facility was deathly quiet, and creepily so.
Then it came.
Rushing at me at the speed of sound, it swung it's claws at me each blow growing more lethal and deadly.
Jumping back from nomu, I managed to avoid most of the attack.
The force of the attack breaking the white floors of the facility , kicking up dust.and debris in the process.
Then I saw it.
It's previous grey frame with its yellow bird mask and exposed brain had undergone a change.
It stood at a height of 3 meters, red skin, its claws had grown longer, its teeth became more jagged and crooked, the other new feature was the detachable spikes on its back.
At the beginning it was easier for me to land blows on the beast, but they did no serious damage. The sturdiness of the nomu really is a pain.
Dodging to the side as the nomu over extended its attack i l Landed a solid blow to its side aiming do to seriously damage on its liver.
But I underestimated the biology of the bio-weapon, as it simply shrugged of the blow and tried to crush me with a bear hug that I narrowly avoided with a simple roll to the side.
With my stamina lown and my arm already injured , evading the beasts strikes only got harder over time.
I could feel my vision getting blurry from over working my body and the blood loss from the wound.
Every time I tried to distance myself from the beast it would simply find me. How is it finding me? That's what I wanna know too.
'It has to be tracking me with some kind of quirk...could it be those gills on its neck are the answer..?'
The beast snarled at me as it approached me on all fours, rushing forward.
Reachig within, in an instant I'd tripled the distance between us. I'd managed to stop myself from keeling over from the strain on my body.
'By drawing on my power in smaller amounts I'm able to reduce the strain on my body and drag out the fight longer.. right now im using about 4% of the power. I call this method [ BOOST ] '
'But I can't replenish my stamina so I'm still in deep trouble'
[A/N : It's just OFA'S FULL COWLING but it only boosts his speed, and durability ]
As if predicting this it released a roar before something came flying out its mouth. A green gooey substance.

Acid.
Three blobs of acid came my way, each one bigger than the last. Dodging the first one as it narrowly passed by me.
A tiny portion of the acid fell on my cloak forcing me to throw it off.
the cloak burnt up immediately after. Sheesh.
Two blobs remained and were fast approaching.
Leaning so close to the wall I managed to avoid the attack.
[ *BOOM* ]
So glad I dodged that one.
One blob remaining. The.blob taking up the space in the entire hall giving me no chance of escape.
The temperature of the place suddenly rose drastially.
Turning back, I saw-

The last attack was only a few inches from burning me away.

The boy was dead he couldn't, smell him. Hence the boy was dead.
Letting out a roar of victory, it tried to imitate a cackle of glee but simply let out a horrendous noise.
Approaching the place its prey was last seen.

' The thing lives!? '
Without any prior notice its gills were struck, a sharp pain went through it at the loss of its eyesight. It let out a cry in pain.
Swiping at the last visage it saw of the boy It didn't notice the concentrated beam of lighting that had sliced its body In half.
Leaving behind a torso-less corpse....
[ FIVE SECONDS EARLIER...]

In the span of 0.5 seconds, Shinichiro did the unbelievable.

The familiar feeling of power washed over him, his body feeling like he had just taken a shit ton of sugar in an instant.
The world slowed down,but the imminent threat still loomed over him.
Then he faced the nearest wall and punched.

His fists became a blur as he punched with all his might.
His hold on his power dwindling over time forcing him to speed up his punching spree.
When He had done enough, he threw himself into the make - shift hole he made.
Squeezing himself in he narrowly dodges the attack by a hairs breadth. The intensity of the attack singeing his skin in the process, he grits his teeth in pain.
[ *BOOOOOOOOMMMMM* ]
Saying that the attack left the hall in a mess would be an understatement. The halls temperature was still intense from the after math of the attack, it wa shot to the touch. Debris and shrapnel was left lying everywhere.
Then came the dust cloud,it covered the entire hallway, blocking him from the view of the nomu.
From the moment the nomu entered the psuedo-smoke screen,Shinichiro started his attack.
Although drained and battered he pushed his power to 1/4th of its limit.
' [ BOOST— 25% ]!!! '
Without giving the nomu time to react, I use my superior speed to attack it by the gills.
Retreating back into the smoke screen I wanted to test a theory.
Taking a deep breath.. I focused on the familiar sensation of energy residing in my pit of my stomach. Focusing on it I willed it to flow into my hand
With a portion of the energy now in my hand. Blue sparks dancing around my finger tips
'So my idea might be right, I have sonic the hedgehog like powers...in that case...'
With a swing of my arm I sent forth a blue arc electricity dancing around it.
[ *SHING* ] [ *SLICE* ]
that cut through the nomu like a hot knife through butter leaving behind a monster cut in two, the attack seemed to cauterize the parts that received the most damage from the attack.
[ *THUD* ]
The beast has finally fallen.
Falling to my knees, I catch my breath.

I couldn't keep the bile and blood from pouring out, most of it coming from my injuries and the sight of seeing a dead body.
[ *BA-DUMP* ]
Plummeting to the floor, my vision starts to blur before I'm finally greeted by darkness.
'The toll of my recklessness is finally catching up to me.'

Following the information Shinichiro left ok thr communication device, the entrance for the facility has 20 levels , the 20th level is the only level that requires an access key for both inside and out.
'Meaning that the only way to escape is to break our way through.'
The other level serve as reinforced blast doors, incase an escape ever happens.
Finally reaching our destination — the entrance gate.It was just a turn away to freedom.
But of course the path to freedom is never easy.
" I KNOW YOUR'E THERE! SURRENDER QUIETLY WITHOIT ANY RESISTANCE AND I PROMISE THAT YOUR PUNISHMENT'S WILL BE LIGHT!! "
'Damnit it's the Doctor!!'

Waking up from his sleep he tries to gather his thoughts.
'Ugh... where am I?'

Checking the timer, Shinichiro felt his blood run cold.

'I need...to get back...now'
My legs gave out for a moment causing me to land face first on the broken floor. Ow.
My whole body was in pain, I didn't have the strength left to move, plus my muscles were super shredded.
But
'Even at that I....can not afford to FAIL!!!!'
Pushing my body beyond its limits I took a running stance.
Deep breaths Shinichiro.
Breath in.
Breath out.
"Gotta go fast..."
'Come on body don't fail me now.'
' [ BOOST— 100% ]!!! '
And so I took off.

'Damnit we're trapped'
The doctor didn't take to kindly to ny honest refusal of his ultimatum ( she cursed at his ass) so here we are stuck in my bubble shield that was barely holding up and taking a toll on me, under a rain of bullets.
"Goddammit where's Shinichiro when you neeed him!?"
"Sup hori."
Of course he's here.
"Where have you been you idiot?!! You sure took your sweet time getting back !!"
Hm?
His body was lit up in streaks of blue. His hair was floating unnaturally. Its like he had some sort of power up.
"SO YOU'VE COME 626!! BUT YOUR TOO LATE, I HAVE YOU CORNERED NOW !" The doctor says gleefully.
Shinichiro only let out a cocky smirk on his face before dashing to my side and whispering.
"Hori prepare for lift off in three...Two..."
"Hey wait—"
"One....and blast off!"
[ *BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM* ]
I crashed into the bubble shield the weight of the speed pressing me against it.
The occasional sound of metal being pierced distracted me from the weight.
I didn't know what happened next all I knee was that in ine moment we were in the bottom most level of the facility and the next thing I saw was street lights, moving cars and the-
"Moon...."
I had never seen the moon before, and it seems like I wasn't the only one, most of the kid's were awe struck by the beauty of it.
But wait what about—
"Where's Shinichiro?!!
Searching around, my heart drops at the sight of an unconscious Shinichiro flying towards the sea—in the opposite direction of where we were going.
"SHINICHIRO!!!!!!"
but my cries fell on deaf ears.

A press conference was being held. The commissioner of police, stood on the podium, with one goal in mind—to address the peoples concerns on the events that just recently occurred a few days prior.
The event known as the Jaku incident.
