I was exhausted. The dog man drained me like a dog in heat, especially after a tiring flight and training before he pounced on me. Sigh. I couldn't resist him; his male beauty was too tempting.
As I opened my eyes slightly, I saw him across the room, standing shirtless in front of a floor-to-ceiling mirror. He was huge compared to most men from A country, where the average height is around 170 to 180 cm. It's rare to see a man over two meters tall, and his body was simply drool-worthy.
I admit I married him for his worship-worthy body—perfect proportions and a powerful aura that enhanced his masculinity, slightly overshadowed by his extreme handsomeness. Did I mention his tattoos?
This man had my name inked on his chest, along with my favourite hibiscus flowers. From behind, the bearded fig tree tattoo seemed alive as he stretched to pull on his shirt, covering his defined muscles. Au Arrogan truly embodies his name. He was a husband, so handsome he seemed worthy of me. Unfortunately, that's no longer the case; he's only worthy until I get what I want before he returns to that heifer who's so green tea I want to beat her up every time I see her.
With my eyes closed, I sensed his approach—the kiss, the warmth of his large hands, running the length of my body and caressing a few key areas; especially a very wet one with the mixture of us. The finger that raked the slit made me shudder, even the sound of him savoring us.
He was beautifully repulsive, and I loved it.
I drifted into a deep sleep.
Three hours later, I woke up. Time was moving on, and honestly, I wished it wouldn't. I actually dreaded what was to come. I stretched on the bed and then made my way to the shower. In the ensuite bathroom, I quickly showered, careful to keep my hair dry. It was already a hassle, but my dog husband had moisturized it and styled it, all I had to do was temporarily wrap it up.
The bedroom occupied the entire third floor of the villa, divided into several smaller areas designed to my taste, which I adored.
One side featured a walk-in closet split in half—one side for my clothes and shoes, the other for his.
To be a good wife, I usually set aside his clothes for each schedule. I still do this and will continue until I leave him. Even when I leave this dog-man, he can't ever say I was not a good wife.
Later today, I met with my manager and a sponsor who wanted me to promote their new, lesser-known face cream, which is reasonably priced.
I slipped into a form-fitting dark maxi dress and added a matching belt to accentuate my waist. At the shoe section, I browsed before choosing a pair of pointed-toe cream heels that buckled at the ankle, and I paired them with a wide-brim hat and an open overcoat. My hair fell just below my chest by an inch.
After applying some makeup, I felt more attractive. Pleased with my appearance, I took the winding stairs to the kitchen, where food was set aside. I sat at the island, ate my meal, and assumed my dog husband had gone for a swim. Once finished, I cleaned up, grabbed my phone, bag, and keys, and left the house. Although we are well off, I have always preferred to drive and felt uncomfortable with guards.
I knew a few would follow me, but they were distant enough not to bother me, so I was fine with that. As I left the villa community, I greeted the guard and headed toward the city. It will take half an hour, and while listening to music, I felt annoyed by the sudden memory of whom I would meet before the meeting.
Luckily I ate.
After parking the car and locking it, I took the elevator to the mall, which was built by four businessmen, including my grandmother, who contributed significantly to its funding. I had foolishly refused her shares back then, but this time I will seize that wealth!
I recall that the dog-man will cause me pain in the future. I had blocked my own path out of love, and I felt a desire to rebel.
I slipped on a pair of oversized retro LUX shades, grabbed my coat and bag, and walked confidently into the mall. I felt the eyes on me and as someone who is in the spotlight most of the time, I treated them like air.
The mall featured six expansive levels, complete with a sports area and an indoor mini forest that kept the air fresh and humid.
The bottom floor boasted a stunning fifty-square-meter fountain, beautifully decorated, but I had grown accustomed to it and paid little attention.
After walking for about twenty minutes, I stopped at a bubble tea shop.
The service was quick; you could order, pay, and sit while waiting for your drink, or simply wait for someone to come and take your order at a slightly higher price.
I chose to order, reading the menu as I approached the counter. "Hello and welcome to Bubble Milk," greeted a young, polite man. I smiled and placed my order, paying for a large black tea with chunks of aloe vera and a small cake.
While waiting, I took out my phone and sent my husband a quick message about my location and estimated return time.
The waiter soon arrived with my order, "Here are your orders." placing it on the glass table. I thanked him, giving him a tip trying my hardest not to lick my lips.
Twitching in the chair, I felt slightly uncomfortable since that dog-man was so vicious during intimate sessions.
Sipping the milk tea, I closed my eyes and hummed, exclaiming, "So good!" as I took a bite of the cake. "Ahhh…my taste buds." I savoured the moment, unaware of the many eyes on me and the growing line at the busy service counter.
