Chapter 12 - Final Chapter: The End

Time seemed to have no meaning in front of Sentinel. The world that stretched out before him, full of life and the energy they created, began to feel empty. all the accomplishments they had made—all the creations, lives, harmony they formed with Astraya and her group—turned out to be just part of an inevitable cycle. A paradox that will continue to repeat itself, unstoppable by anyone.

Astraya stood beside him, her eyes looking at the horizon which was no longer clearly visible. The world they built is now starting to lose its shape. Entities born from their creations, both light and dark, began to vibrate within their own dimensions. all bound by the power they created, but ironically also becoming an increasingly unavoidable burden.

"We've gone too far," Astraya's voice sounded calm but filled with regret. "What we did, ultimately... was a mistake."

The sentinel lowered his head, reflecting on the journey he had gone through. During this time, he had experienced this cycle many times—where all creation, all life, only ended in the same destruction. An infinite paradox, an endless loop. every time they created something new, everything would return to square one, creating ultimately inevitable chaos.

"I've seen this many times, Astraya," Sentinel's voice finally came, flat, but firm. "Every time we create, we only postpone destruction. The world we create is too fragile to bear the weight of this paradox."

Astraya looked at him with eyes filled with disappointment. "Is all this just an illusion? Does our every action only lead to destruction?"

"More than that," Sentinel answered, now in a deeper voice. "Every one of our actions forms a new, greater paradox. We create life, but at the same time, we create entanglements and contradictions that are impossible to resolve. Our destiny is a never-ending paradox."

Astraya was silent, lost in thought. He knew that every word Sentinel spoke had undeniable truth. They had gone too far, playing the role of creators and not observers. from the start, they should only be entities observing, not taking action.

"No entity should have this much power," Sentinel continued, his eyes staring far into the trembling horizon. "Our power shouldn't be here. we have crossed a line that should not be crossed. And now, all our actions lead to inevitable destruction."

"You want to destroy everything?" Astraya asked, her eyes sharpening. There was pain in his voice, but also understanding.

"It's not about desire," Sentinel answered quietly. "It's about necessity. We create a paradox that cannot be resolved. The life we form will always return to the same cycle of destruction, without end. If we continue like this, we will only make this repetition worse."

Astraya nodded, even though her heart was heavy. He knew that Sentinel was right. Everything they had created, everything they had built with determination and vision, was now only a shadow of the true reality. They had strayed too far from their role as observers of the universe.

"We have to end it," Sentinel said calmly, his eyes full of determination. "We must erase everything we have created. Everything that has existed. These worlds, these dimensions, everything must be folded and compressed until it no longer exists. until nothing remains—not even a trace of our existence."

Astraya looked at him, her breathing heavy. "You're right," he said quietly. "We can't go on like this. This world... all of this... has gone too far astray."

Sentinel begins to move. the energy from his body vibrated subtly, starting to seep into the reality around them. The dimensions they had been creating all this time began to respond, as if realizing that they would soon be erased. the world that had been formed from harmony and imbalance began to fold in on itself.

Sentinel opened his hands, and soft light began to emerge from the tips of his fingers. the light moved in all directions, touching the empty spaces that existed between dimensions, starting to compress and fold all of reality to become smaller and denser. Every world they had ever created, every life, every entity, began to disappear one by one. as if they were just a bunch of data being deleted.

"I will not allow this paradox to continue," Sentinel said in a voice that now resonated with cosmic power. "Everything must return to its origin. Nothing must survive. no entity should have this much power other than me. I must be the only observer in this universe. Everything else must be removed."

Astraya closed her eyes, feeling the world around her disappear. Everything slowly disintegrates and disappears. the reality they created, a dimension teeming with life, slowly became zero—compressed to nothing, until everything returned to nothing.

"Sentinel," Astraya whispered softly, her voice barely audible. "Is this the end of everything?"

"This is the end of this paradox," answered Sentinel in a steady voice. "And also the end of us."

In the final seconds before everything was lost, Astraya saw a flash of realization in Sentinel. An acknowledgment that this was the right choice, even if it was bittersweet. no one could survive a force of this magnitude. Everything must return to its place—into nothingness.

And then, it was all over.

The last dimension is folded into the zero point. The worlds that once existed, full of life and wonder, are now just memories that have disappeared along with the universe itself. Sentinel, who had witnessed this cycle countless times, now stood alone in the void.

he stared into the boundless darkness, realizing that this decision was for the best. No entity should ever have this much power again. No one should repeat the same mistake.

in solitude, Sentinel is now the only one left—an eternal observer of the void he himself created.

And with that, the world that once existed, all reality, all dimensions, are now gone forever.
