The night city could be seen looking peaceful, though time left marks on the city walls it's majestic form remains unchanged. fifteen years after the incident has passed, like how time passes, talks and gossips has faded away.
Today, A carriage can be seen driving through the city of Night. This carriage made all the pedestrian on the road move to the side and bows after seeing the Crest on the carriage. It is the Crest of the Sol royal family which shows a rising sun.
"Grand Tutor, this city is so unusual, I mean look at the people though they are bowing but they do not seem to respect us like the other cities. It's as if they do it out of necessity. " A young boy asked the old man beside him. This handsome young boy is dressed in his royal attire to announce his worth as a prince, wearing a black and gold attire with the sun design drawn on its back. He also looked at his sister besides him who was staring at him with her golden eyes which always unnerves him.
"My prince, you are right they do it out of necessity, the people here have the right to do so because all the achievement this city has made, none is aided by us in building it up instead it is the night duke that raise this city to where it is now." The grand Tutor looked at the young prince and answered.
"But, we are their protectors from the outside world" The prince pressed on dissatisfied that people could ignore the symbol of imperial majesty.
"That's enough Alex! The reason we're here is to get to know my fiance and find out the person who invented those strange things. Not everyone is expected to love royalties so as the future king start thinking how to rule well and not how to make people bow to you." A charming voice came out of the mouth of the princess but Alex didn't think so as he knew what she said is final.
" We are here to build our relationship with the night clan, but our main purpose is to find how they control 99% of all business related to mortals, I mean how did a clan known for their assassination technique suddenly start blooming in business area, that's what father send us for. Grand Tutor ! try to find information from them and you too Alex. we don't want the balance of this empire broken."
she said seriously while looking ahead to the direction of the clan.
Each duke clan has its own speciality in the empire, the Night duke deals with information gathering and assassination, the duke of dawn deals with political side of the court, the duke of sky deals with the military side of the court while the duchess of light deals with the business matters and finally the duchess of dusk is the chief minister of foreign affairs.
So it was suspicious when the night clan whose specialty does not concerns business began to occupy the entire mortal market and half the cultivators market.
"yes my lady, I and the prince will do as you commands" the grand Tutor hastily bow.
"good." she said smiling beautifully but none of the occupants of the carriage seems to enjoy it.
' I heard my fiance is a handsome boy we will see if he suit my taste, I must find this mysterious expert helping the night clan first before engaging with my boytoy or maybe I should use him to find the expert, I hope this coming days won't be boring. '
In another carriage, a petite girl could be seen jumping up and down in the carriage and an old man is looking at her amusedly while a lady of graceful bearing is looking at her trying not be annoyed. Finally she could not bear it she shouted at the little girl. "Anita sit down this instant or I will take you back home, choose one!"
Anita pouted and struck out her tongue at the young lady. "ok... ok, I don't want to go home, big sister."
The old man began to speak slowly," Vanessa calm down we are here to have fun let her play a little, your aunt will not be pleased if you feel restricted in her city." "fine grandpa, I'm just afraid we will cause trouble."
"we won't , but even if we did so what ?" A heroic aura surrounded the man making him look like a warrior about to go on an adventure but his next words destroyed it all. "we just have to hid at my son-in-law back he will cover the storm for us." They started to laugh together creating a joyous atmosphere.
Many of such carriages were moving towards the night clan manor. Today is a joyous day for the night clan and for the rest of the world it's the beginning of an era.
