Ephyra's chest tightened. "Classified? But I'm her daughter! I deserve to know!"
"Only the Administrator can declassify such information, Miss Ephyra," Donna replied calmly. "I advise seeking her out for the full story."
The mention of seeking Aerona sent a chill down Ephyra's spine. She wasn't sure if she was ready to confront the mother she had never truly known—the woman who had, by all accounts, abandoned her in one life and thrust her into another.
Ephyra laughed. "Seeking her out? Are you kidding me? I didn't even know I had a mother until now, and you're telling me to seek her out? Do you even know where she is?"
