With the wind blowing hard on the streets, Commissioner Rossi felt that the moment of truth was near. Every clue pointed in a single direction, and the time to act was now.
In the office, Inspector Conti had a new update. "Commissioner, we've traced the seller of the weapon. He's a man with ties to the local archaeological world."
Rossi nodded. "We need to talk to him. He could be the key to solving this mystery."
The seller's name was Andrea Valli, an expert in medieval history. Rossi and Conti headed to his home, determined to get answers.
Arriving at the location, they found Valli in his study, surrounded by books and ancient artifacts. "Commissioner, inspector, how can I help you?" the man asked, a slight nervousness in his tone.
"We know you sold a medieval weapon to Luca Bernardi. What can you tell us about the message on the 'ancient justice'?" Rossi asked directly.
Valli hesitated, but under the commissioner's intense gaze, he finally spoke. "I didn't want it to get out of hand. The weapon belonged to the family I've studied, and someone seemed intent on using it for revenge
