Chapter 102 - Midnight

By the end of the first week, All Might was sulking back to the ranks of his fellow pro heroes, muttering about how he would never understand these young students.

Next was Midnight, who believed her lively persona could reign supreme over this rambunctious classroom. She thrived on energy and passion, thinking that teaching Class 1-A would be a speed bump in her hero career. Little did she know, she was stepping into a pit of hormones—specifically those of Mineta who, upon sighting Midnight, transformed into a fidgeting ball of perversion.

Her first day in class was a whirlwind of enthusiasm, with students cheering and bantering away. At first, she relished the vibe, but then Mineta began his relentless attempts to get her attention. Every time she turned around, he was there, spinning tales of his many "romantic" adventures, oblivious to Midnight's groans of exasperation.

The real chaos began when Bakugo and Todoroki entered the scene, both oblivious to the gathering storm of high school drama brewing around them. Despite being friends, the two boys were secretly caught in their own web of rivalry—each harboring an unspoken crush on Midoriya. Tension crackled as minor conversations about heroes turned into heated debates, which escalated all too quickly into an uproar of shifting alliances and emotional outbursts.

To make matters even worse, Mineta's antics escalated into near mayhem. He aimed his sticky balls at unsuspecting classmates—including Midnight—who was too exhausted to properly respond. "I'm not an object of desire!" she yelled, and the room erupted in laughter.

As the week dragged on, Midnight tried everything from motivational speeches to colorful artwork—but nothing worked. The class was a battlefield of emotions. Bakugo, who was supposed to be focusing on his lessons, spent his time lumping insults at Todoroki who, in turn, threw ice shards to keep Bakugo at bay. All the while, Mineta seized upon the chaos, constantly swooping in and making things worse, to the point where even the more responsible students were caught up in his absurdity.

On her final day, Midnight clasped her hands on her temples in despair. "You guys, please, for the love of everything, can you just focus on the lesson?" she begged, but little did she know, it was the wrong thing to say.

In the midst of her plea, Bakugo launched a verbal attack, only to be immediately interrupted by Todoroki firing ice at the ceiling, which resulted in water raining down, causing Mineta to squeal with excitement. The room devolved into calamity as students shouted, laughed, and argued, while Midnight struggled to regain control.

By the end of the week, Midnight stumbled into the pro hero lounge, hair disheveled and wearing dark circles under her eyes. "I quit!" she declared dramatically to the gathered heroes, and her vibrant demeanor dulled momentarily. "Class 1-A is more than I ever bargained for."

The pro heroes muffled light laughter, aware they were next in line and unsure of what awaited them. Each took a moment to glean insight from Midnight's harrowing experience, a silent agreement forming: Class 1-A was an exhilarating rollercoaster, but ultimately, it was a chaotic nightmare.

And so, as the school year continued, Class 1-A awaited its next substitute, unaware that their reputation had preceded them and that more heroes would soon step into the fray, all willing to take a gamble on survival.
