(To be honest I didn't know who to ship him with so yea....and actually if I can't think of any other ships I will just do Y/N)
Y/N stood at the entrance of Hero Academy College, heart racing with a mix of excitement and anxiety. After transferring from a different school, she was determined to make the most of her second year at this prestigious institution for aspiring heroes. The sprawling campus buzzed with students, laughter, and the promise of friendship. But as she took her first steps, she felt a familiar pang of loneliness tugging at her.
Suddenly, she collided with someone. "Whoa!" A voice exclaimed, and Y/N stumbled back but quickly regained her balance. Looking up, she found herself face-to-face with Sero, another student known for his charismatic smile and sharp wit. His dark hair was slightly damp from the morning dew, and a skateboard was tucked under his arm.
"Oh no, I'm so sorry!" he said, extending a hand to help her up. She took it, feeling a small spark of warmth at his touch. "Are you alright?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," she replied, a blush creeping onto her cheeks. There was something about Sero that made her feel at ease, and she silently appreciated his kindness.
"Are you new here?" he asked, tilting his head slightly.
"Kind of. I just transferred," Y/N admitted. "I'm still figuring everything out."
"Don't worry! I'll give you a tour!" Sero grinned, and before she could protest, he began leading her through the maze of hallways and common areas.
As the weeks passed, Y/N and Sero became inseparable. They shared laughter over lunch, worked together on projects, and developed an effortless camaraderie. Yet, Y/N found herself wrestling with a growing affection for him. Each time his smile lit up, she struggled to contain the swell of emotions stirring within her. Her quirk, which could manipulate electrical currents, was directly influenced by her feelings. Losing control could lead to disastrous results, so she kept her heart hidden behind a wall.
One rainy afternoon, as dark clouds rolled in and the rain poured heavily from the sky, Y/N and Sero made their way back to the dorms after a study session. They dashed across the courtyard, trying to avoid getting soaked, when suddenly, she tripped, causing both of them to tumble down.
Y/N landed on the ground, and Sero fell on top of her, the impact knocking the breath out of both of them. They lay there for a moment, stunned, before Sero scrambled to his feet, extending his hand to help her up again.
"I'm so sorry! Are you alright?" he asked, his eyes wide with concern.
"I'm fine, just a little wet," Y/N laughed lightly, brushing droplets from her hair. Sero chuckled, shaking his head at the ridiculousness of the situation.
"Let's get inside before we turn into drowned rats," Sero suggested with a grin, leading the way into the warmth of their dorms.
Once inside, they shed their damp clothes and changed into comfortable sweats, the air filled with soft laughter and teasing conversations. Sitting on the couch, they chatted and sipped hot cocoa, the conversation flowing effortlessly between them.
But as the evening wore on, Y/N found herself battling the powerful emotions swelling up inside her. Sero's playful smile made her heart race, and she could feel the familiar buzzing sensation in her fingertips, a sign that her quirk was being affected.
"Y/N," Sero said suddenly, interrupting her spiraling thoughts. "There's something I've been meaning to say…"
Her heart pounded in her chest, conflicting emotions swirling within her. Would he express feelings for her too? Or would this change everything?
"Yeah?" she prompted, her voice barely above a whisper.
Sero took a deep breath, his gaze locking onto hers. "I really like spending time with you. You're so much fun, and I feel like I can be myself around you. I think… I think I might have feelings for you."
Time seemed to freeze.
Y/N felt her heart leap, but panic washed over her. "Wait! Sero, I…" It was a delicate matter. She wanted to confess too, but the shadow of her quirk loomed large. If she couldn't handle her emotions, it could hurt him. She stood abruptly, pacing the small room.
"Well, I guess that's not how I imagined this going," Sero said, a hint of confusion in his voice.
"I do like you, Sero!" she admitted finally, stopping to face him, her chest tightening. "But I don't know if I can pursue anything right now. My quirk— it's affected by my emotions, and it could get dangerous. I can't control it like I want to."
Sero's expression softened as he took a step closer. "It's okay, really. Whatever you need, we can figure it out together. I'll help you— because I care about you."
His words hit her like a warm wave of comfort. Slowly, hope began to blossom amidst her fear. Maybe, just maybe, there was a way to navigate this path alongside him.
Taking a deep breath, she eased her steady gaze into his eyes. "Okay, let's try this together— at our own pace."
Sero smiled at her, and at that moment, with the rain pattering against the window and the warmth of a budding relationship looming ahead, Y/N felt a spark of electricity— this time, one she was willing to embrace.
