'Fuck me! Fuck me! Fuck me!'
Omari who was beginning to feel sleepy suddenly stood up with renewed vigor. His eyes widened as the words of the system played in his mind.
'Fuck me! How the fuck am I supposed to improve my stats by that much in just three weeks!'
The system however, didn't seem to care about his internal dilemma.

|Repercussion of failure: random loss of stats|
All the thoughts of despair about the possibility of randomly losing his starts absolved as soon as he saw his stats. There were new features and changes to the things that were already there.
For example, his team role had been changed to key first team player. And career stats had been added. He studied the changes some more and decided to work towards completing the mission the next day.
The fact that he was going to have to go to school didn't matter to Omari as he willed himself up from his bed. The reason being that he was absolutely certain that he was going to see her at school today.
It had been so long since he saw her. If he took into account the time before he transmigrated and after, he hadn't seen her for four entire days. To him that was like an eternity.
He went into the toilet and had his bath, got dressed and went downstairs without his mother having to come and wake him.
When he got downstairs, he realized that there was nobody awake. He couldn't blame them, it was probably still past five. The only reason that he was awake himself was because he couldn't sleep due to the excitement of wanting to see her.
He went into the kitchen and started cooking breakfast. He wore an apron over his school uniform to protect it from getting stained.
By a few minutes past six, he had already finished making breakfast for everyone. He served his food on a tray and was about to go out to the dining table to savor his creation when his mother entered the kitchen.
She rubbed her eyes when she saw Omari dummy dresses, holding breakfast that he made for himself.
"Chris!" She called out to Omari's dad. "Call the doctor, I think I'm hallucinating".
"What's the matter?" His dad called back. He was probably already in the living room, perched on the couch and watching TV.
"Omari's awake, and fully dressed and he just finished making breakfast". His mom said.
Omari laughed when he heard what she said. It wasn't as if he could blame her though. When it came to waking up in the morning, he had been notoriously lazy, or rather he purposely wasted time on little things since he dreaded going to school.
But now, now he had no actual reason to dread going to school. It wasn't his fault that his teammates and most of his school mates were jealous of his success. And if the teachers decided to be immature, who was he to stop them?
So with his new take on his situation, he suddenly became passionate about visiting the sacred ground of learning.
"Ask him if he made bacon". His dad (by the way, I'm going to be calling him Chris from now) replied to his mom's statement making Omari smile.
"You know I can't make shit". Omari said while walking out of the kitchen. Instead of going to the dining table, he went towards the couch and dropped his food. "Enjoy your noodles". Omari said making his father's face contort in 'disappointment'.
"I've been telling your mom that we need to do a DNA test". He said looking disgusted as Omari forked strands of noodles and raised them to his mouth. "You're not my son".
Omari laughed loudly at the joke. His mom didn't seem to share his sentiments on humor though, she shot Chris a dirty look.
Few minutes later, Omari had finished his food and set out to go to school. If he waited for an hour or so, he would've been able to get a ride from his dad but he really couldn't afford to do so. The thought of him wasting time till he saw her almost made him cry.
"There's the match day hero". Ayanfe said as soon as he caught sight of Omari.
"Ah yes". Omari said lightly. "No matter how hard I try to be a low key football genius, my talents just drop me in front of the spotlight".
Ayanfe laughed. "I call bullshit". He said. "We both know that if I was the one keeping, you wouldn't have gotten a single goal in".
"The fuck gave you that idea?" Omari said. "I stake ten pounds on me scoring a hat trick against you in training today". He stretched out his hand to Ayanfe.
Ayanfe shook it. "You're on".
The two continued chatting absentmindedly. He'd almost forgotten about his sole mission for coming to school today until…
Until he caught sight of her.
She was laughing with one of her friends. She had long black hair which fell behind her back all the way to her lower back. Her somewhat pale complexioned face was highlighted by ember colored eyes and a few red freckles on either side of her cheeks. Her thin red colored lips curled making it seem much more alluring to Omari.
She was wearing the school uniform but that did little to hide her alluring figure. For the girls, they wore a shirt that was covered with the black colored blazer. There was a curve where her breasts were supposed to be.
Her plaid skirt stopped just short of her knees. There wasn't any form of skin to be seen however, she wore a black leggings which spanned all the way to her knees.
All in all, she was extremely beautiful. A ten over ten in all regards. Omari sucked I some air when he saw her.
"Amber Rose…". He muttered to no one in particular. But he was loud enough that the person closest to him could hear.
And as such, Ayanfe in his honest confusion spoilt his moment of quiet bliss, staring at her.
"Who the fuck is that?!" Ayanfe said while laughing.
Fool. Poor fool. Poor stupid fool. He had no idea the significance of his actions at that very moment.
