As Luke, Ava, Lila, and Jake stepped through the newly opened passageway, the golden light bathed their faces, bringing with it an unexpected warmth that calmed their frayed nerves. The room they entered was nothing like the dark and haunting hall they'd left behind. Instead, it was a vast chamber lined with towering columns made of marble and crystal, their surfaces shimmering with an ethereal glow.
The floor was adorned with intricate patterns, each tile a delicate mosaic that formed a grand design they couldn't quite make out from their vantage point. A dome stretched high above them, and through its transparent panes, they could see swirling galaxies and distant stars, as if this chamber was suspended in the cosmos itself.
