Raven's body trembled as Luke helped her to her feet. The cavern around them had fallen into an eerie silence, the oppressive energy that had once filled the air now dissipated. Ava stood a few feet away, breathing heavily but steady, her sword still clutched in her hand, blood staining its blade from the battle with the creature and the platform's destruction.
"We need to get out of here," Ava said, her voice low but urgent. "That thing may be gone, but I don't trust this place."
Luke nodded, his arm still around Raven for support. "You're right. We need to get her somewhere safe, somewhere we can regroup and figure out what to do next."
Raven's legs were weak beneath her, and Luke could feel her lean heavily on him. The ordeal had taken a toll on her, more than he realized. Her eyes, though now their usual deep green, still seemed clouded with exhaustion and confusion. She had been through something none of them could fully understand, and it showed.
