Cinderella was walking down the hill when she saw a fine young prince, standing close to an oak.
He had dark hair that was almost touching his broad shoulders, light blue eyes like the surface of the sky. His blue royal attire was very fitted to his body.
It seems like he was trying to recall something, but not sure if he's getting it correctly.
She decides to walk up to him and confront him. "Hey there young prince, might I ask what you're doing looking at the oak tree."
The young prince turned his head to look at the person who just interrupted his quiet time, surprised at the persons boldness.
He saw the most fair skinned girl he has ever seen in the kingdom of Arriola.
With deep blue eyes and smooth red lips like cherry blossom, her golden hair was flowing backwards with the wind. He almost lost himself but he had keep his composure as one of the princes of the kingdom.
"And may I ask fairy lady, how do you know I'm a prince." He asked her with a smug smile on his lips.
Cinderella laughed lightly, with her hands slightly covering her lips. "It's very obvious my young prince, with your way of dressing that is." She sarcastically responded to him, pointing to his blue royal attire he wore. The prince looked at his attires and smiled awkwardly at her.
Cinderella laughed slightly again on seeing the expression on his face.
The prince looked at her sweet face and her merrily addictive laugh, and this time he felt like he could not control himself to ask her to marry him this instant.
"What's your name beautiful young lady?" The prince asked her.
"My name is Cinderella young prince, and I won't classify myself as a beautiful young lady, my prince" Cinderella looked at him with her blue eyes and responded with jer sweet smile.
The prince stared at her blue eyes, and this time again almost lost control of himself, looking at her beautiful face.
"If I say you're beautiful, then you are beautiful. And I'm not a young prince, I certainly I'm older than you." The prince replied to her, raising his head up with a proud expression plastered on his face.
Cinderella smiled at him and answered, "Ok young prince…I mean my prince. May I ask what's your name?"
"Of course. My name is Stanley." "Prince Stanley…"
Cinderella was dumbfounded at what she just heard. "You must be joking my prince. I know Prince Stanley to be the eldest of the princes, and also the most cunning and ruthless, so there's no way a young…I mean a fine and innocent looking man like you could be him."
Stanley looked at her with an astonished wide eyes. Certainly, this is the first time someone has insulted him continuously in his presence, and he has yes to cut off the person's head.
"So you think prince Stanley is ruthless and cunning. Tell me, is this your words or the words of others." He said, his expression turning serious.
"Well, I don't mean to smear against your elder brother my prince, but it's the rumours that has been going on in the kingdom about him, certainly you might have heard of it once. Also, don't you think it's unjust to lie to your subjects about your true identity, my prince?" Cinderella questioned back, not willing to back down in this argument.
Stanley angrily scoffed, her provocation was already reaching his limit. His handsome face has changed to a cold expression.
Cinderella looked at his cold face and was somewhat frightened, but she stood her ground, deliberating on how she would quickly escaped if he tried to do anything to her.
"So tell me, how can you identify a prince if you see him.?" He said to her in a cold voice. Cinderella wasn't even bothered about his cold voice and answered him directly. "Well, each prince has an amulet seal with their name crusted on it. And another prince cannot take an amulet of his brother, as that would lead to his banishment to another station of the kingdom, and never to step his foot into the royal kingdom."
Stanley raised his brow in amusement at her confidence in saying everything that comes out of her mind. "Is that so? So if should show you my amulet seal, you'll definitely believe me?"
"Of course I would, that is if you…" prince Stanley interrupted her by revealing his amulet seal with his name as the crown prince of the kingdom.
Cinderella was flustered at the revelation, and she took a step back, trying to keep enough distance between the both of them. "You really, you really are crown prince Stanley."
Stanley stared at her with a smug smile plastered on his lips as he approached her. "What? I thought you were confident earlier? What happened to all your fierceness?"
Cinderella became afraid and fearful of his appearance. She continued moving backwards and away from him. The crown prince was never a man of too may words, but a man of action. She could not believe she had insulted such person in his very presence.
She looked around her, trying to find a possible way to escape him. Prince Stanley saw through what she was trying to do and smiled. "You think you can escape from me, a ruthless and cunning person like me." He said to her with his lips curved in a sinister fashion, reminding her of her words.
Cinderella quickly became alert and rushed to her left to escape from him. But prince Stanley was more quicker and sharper compared to her. He quickly averted to her side and held her hands, pulling her backwards.
"Ahh!" Cinderella was forcefully pulled backwards by Stanley and missed her step, making her to fall to the ground.
As she fell, Stanley quickly held her down to the ground, giving her no allowance to escape. "Please, let me go! I promise not to tell anyone about what happened here today. If you insist, I can leave the kingdom and never appear in your face again. Just please let me go!"
Prince Stanley looked at her teary face and almost hated himself for making her to cry.
Is his story that terrible, that everyone now fears him. "I'll allow you to your freedom, but only on one condition. Marry me!"
"What?"
