"Son! Look at my nano armor!"
"I'm telling you, this old man is awesome!"
"I'll prove that knowledge is the most powerful thing in the world!"
"No, no!"
"Look at Father Yasuo's swordsmanship!"
---
Five or six shadow clones enthusiastically crowded around Boruto, showing off their impressive weapons. Unlike their original counterparts, who would smack their son for just breathing, these clones retained a bit of fatherly love for Boruto.
After all, they knew the tragic fate awaiting the boy, where he'd go from a spoiled kid to a more miserable existence than Pain—overnight.
Some of the clones were even planning to teach him a thing or two.
"No, no…" Boruto muttered weakly. "I just want to eat first."
Slumped on the ground, he looked utterly defeated. His entire body ached from Uncle Neji's "training," which, in simpler terms, meant relentless beatings. To add insult to injury, the fatherly clone had given him a potion to recover—only for Neji to pummel him again barely two minutes later.
Boruto felt utterly destroyed, both physically and mentally.
And the worst part? Not a single person had stood up for him during the beatings.
Not. Even. One.
He sighed, recalling the gentle grandmother he'd glimpsed in the Pure Land. At least she had shown some kindness.
"I'm so tired," he muttered. In less than a day, he'd been beaten four times and once trampled to death by Konohamaru's summoning beast.
---
"Boruto, why aren't you eating? Is the food not to your taste?" Naruto asked, frowning. Picky eating at a young age? Unacceptable!
Naruto was already planning to correct this behavior—with fists—after the boy finished eating.
Suddenly, Naruto paused, sensing something amiss. "Wait, something's wrong. I feel malicious intent nearby…"
Kurama, lounging in the sealed space, perked up. "There's something off about this chakra," the big fox growled. "It's… familiar. Almost like that old man of the Six Paths. But he's long gone. It must be from the Otsutsuki clan you were just gossiping about!"
As Kurama issued his warning, a space-time portal materialized in the middle of the party. Out strode Otsutsuki Urashiki, radiating arrogance and gripping his fishing rod.
"Uzumaki Naruto…" Urashiki sneered. "You've made this way too easy for me."
The festive atmosphere died instantly.
Neji and Jiraiya exchanged glances, their expressions silently accusing Naruto: What trouble have you dragged us into now?
But as they eyed Urashiki's peculiar abilities and his ominous Byakugan, the group quickly grew serious.
Naruto's clone cracked a sinister smile, while Nakadō Sasuke and Uchiha Xiao Yan reached for their weapons. Even Konohamaru pulled out… a door panel?
Hinata activated her Byakugan, her eyes glowing with blue light. The tension was palpable.
Urashiki, however, faltered. Why do these people look so excited to fight?
Unbeknownst to him, stepping into this gathering was like a lamb strolling into a den of wolves.
---
"So, he's the enemy?" Jiraiya asked, casting a side-eye at Naruto. "Man, this guy's got guts messing with you."
Urashiki barely had time to process the insult before Whirlpool Stark took the initiative, activating his armor and launching a blue energy beam. "Don't even think about it! This one's mine!"
Urashiki confidently raised his hand to absorb the attack—but the beam slammed into him, sending him flying.
"What?! Why didn't it absorb?!"
"Hah! That's the power of technology, boy!" Stark taunted, readying another blast. But the clones weren't about to let Stark hog the glory.
"Dream on! This head is mine!" Uzumaki Yasuo shouted, unleashing his ultimate technique. Though the move would dispel him afterward, he was determined to land the finishing blow—and earn bragging rights for eternity.
Chaos erupted as more clones swarmed the battlefield, each unleashing their strongest attacks. Most disappeared after a single move, but Stark stubbornly persisted, continuing his assault.
Meanwhile, Nakadō Sasuke and Uchiha Xiao Yan synchronized perfectly. Lightning crackled as Sasuke summoned the Lightning Style: Kirin, while Xiao Yan swung his flaming Xuan Zhong Ruler, aiming to bisect Urashiki.
Even Jiraiya joined in, his Lion's Mane Technique extending to ensnare their foe. Hinata followed suit, adapting a technique taught by Naruto. Her hair extended like needles, precisely targeting Urashiki's chakra points. It was eerily similar to Kaguya Otsutsuki's rabbit hair needles, though slightly weaker.
As for Boruto and Konohamaru? Before they could charge forward, Neji swiftly subdued them with a few well-placed punches.
"Stay out of this!" Neji snapped. "Can't you see this is way out of your league?!"
---
In the midst of this chaos, Naruto was… arguing. With Kurama.
"Let me handle this!" Naruto shouted internally.
"No way! You're not strong enough!" Kurama barked back. "Let me out! I'll crush him!"
The argument devolved into a childish tug-of-war. Finally, Naruto proposed a compromise: he'd handle the first half, and Kurama could finish things off.
Reluctantly, Kurama agreed.
---
Meanwhile, Urashiki managed to escape the onslaught by retreating into a space-time portal.
Uchiha Xiao Yan groaned in frustration. "Again with the space-time ninjutsu?! Is this ever gonna end?!"
For someone who'd been humiliated by Naruto's space-time tricks as a kid—and fooled by his alternate-world counterpart—this was the final straw.
"Can we please ban this move already?!"
