Suddenly he went cold, a shiver running up his entire spine up into his skull. The arctic presence of the Death God appeared behind, Uzumaki-Namikaze Naruto. The Shinigami breathed out his name, why have you summoned me boy? The Diety spoke in an otherworldly double voice. Why have you summoned me wearing the original contract mask? I am heir of the clan, and the current Uzukage. I see you have bonded with one of Arceus' hatchlings. I haven't seen a Shinobi with a pokemon partner in a bit over an aeon now. You should be proud of yourself young man. The Shinigami praised Naruto, this threw him way off. His grandfather reminded him to continue, I have claimed the treasures of my clan along with our long standing arrangement. The Uzumaki Clan continues to be in your service Shinigami-Sama.
This is good news Uzukage-San, I would assume you will do great things. Or that little one would have never bonded with you. I require the other half of Kyuubi's Chakra and soul. The Shinigami slit open his stomach and dug around for a moment. He pulled the darker red yang chakra out of his belly and opened the seal himself. Bringing us back to why Kyuubi bristled before this began. Usually Kyuubi was ready to bail his jail instantly, the looming Shinigami however. That would definitely keep the fur ball in his place. Staring in impotence at the open seal he was blindsided by the other half of his chakra returning to him. He squinted and flattened his ears against his skull. Curling up into a giant ball he slept through the memory assimilation process. The fights with Minato, the final acceptance of his new container. The fights they had against other deceased opponents. Although Namikaze Minato had been a chakra powerhouse, Naruto was a flat out chakra monster. Alone without his reserves to bolster the boy, he could punch well above his weight class. Naruto passed out from having his chakra reserves forcibly expanded. By several factors in a matter of moments, the silencing and suppression seals in the kage tower still worked. No one knew Naruto had just become exponentially more powerful. 4 hours later he awoke to the light slaps of his worried poke-son. Papa are you alright!? From what Ash-Nii says so can Aura, it just takes time and practice. Opening his palm again he placed that hand on the seal. Froakie place his webbed appendage in the area for his evolutionary phase. They channeled their energies into the seal, causing it to glow the same teal as Froakie's skin. Then the burnt orange of the full power of the Kyuubi. The side effect of having the entire fox in him was, his pupils became permanently slitted. They also changed to this amethyst like color that made them look like mystical jewels. Kyuubi's full power came with the perk of, being able to fix the malnutrition he grew up with. He didn't grow much from it but his body definitely filled out. His higher muscle mass and density required him to relearn his skills all over again. The insane chakra capacity boost ruined all the progress he made. The fox gawked as a small journal, a scroll labled Fuuinball/Pokeball designs. Popped out of the seal along with a blade, something of a cross between a Zambato and a Kyber knife. This sword is awesome! Naruto cheered as he had a sword that reminded him of Kubokiribocho but not as cumbersome. The metal has strange striations and the clear feel of chakra and aura. That Naruto-Kun, is Twin Foxes forged with the flame of an ancient Ninetails pokemon, and chakra from your partner himself. This weapon made the fox smile, a sword thought lost to time. The gem on the tassle can hold Kyuubi's Aura to empower the sword. The Ninetails that helped create this blade embued it with the ability to form a burning edge. The ability to spew a flamethrower, the ability to use its strongest attack Fire Blast. Finally a sliver of its psychic power allowing the sword to be summoned to your hand, and controlled by you when thrown. He landed back on the ground with the journal and the scroll. He tucked the smaller stuff in his pockets. Ok, that leaves the last of it. This seal you will need to have somewhere with you. So you can return and grab funds when you need them. Pushing on the Kage's desk it revealed the seal, when he opened the seal nothing happened. Naruto was going to panic when he went to touch the seal again, and he went tumbling down the staircase that was covered by genjutsu. The room he landed in lit up revealing an enormous vault with gold nuggets, ingots, ryo, and paper cash from several nations. He sealed away about 50 million and remembered to copy the sealing matrix to the vault. So he could access his clan fortune when needed. Uzumaki Naruto was now a very wealthy Nation on to himself. On his way out of the vault he found an amulet with a crimson swirl carved into it, the clan crest. He took it and put it on it was his birthright after all. He found an undamaged, unused haori in the Kage's dresser it was black, with maroon lining, and burnt orange and red flames on the bottom of it. A bold Crimson and gold lined Uzumaki Crest stamped proudly on its back. With the slight height increase he went through this haori now sat just below the knees. He loved it, it was super cool and had orange in it. My clan was the best! He thought as he came up to the final seal. Froakie could only watch as his papa collected things, and put them inside of rolled up paper.
-Jiraiya and Hana-
Did you feel that? Jiraiya-Sama, that's the Kyuubi's Chakra! Yes Inuzuka-San, come on we have to find him. Ash can handle himself, most likely we will all converge on Naruto. First it felt like the seal had been opened, then.. Jiraiya gulped, it felt like the entirety of the Kyuubi was back. Not half sealed in Naruto, but the whole fucking fox. I don't know what the hell is going on but we need to find that gaki NOW!
-Ash Greninja and Pikachu-
His ears perked up, a chill went up and down his spine. Pikachu made eye contact with Geninja, who was visibly shivering at that moment too. They made eye contact with Ash as he looked at them. He too shook and readjusted his cap. Did you guys feel that too? You thinking what I'm thinking? All three of them said: Naruto! Hang on bro, I'm coming for you! NOIVERN! His poke-son came flying in, Ash jumped off a tree trunk and ricochet off a few branches upward. Landing on Noivern's back without him having to swoop down or even stop. Woah, Pikachu said from his shoulder. When did you get so nimble Ash? Ha ha you're not the only one with tricks up your sleeve ya' know? How does it feel to have access to this level of mobility? Honestly I respect you all a lot more now. If this is a fraction of what you all normally do for me. Then I'm sorry, because I owe you so much more than I have ever given you. Elements, Space, Temperature, Lighting, Darkness, Retrieve, Open, Command, Friend, Bond, Seal, Growth, Comfort, Stasis, Healing, Expansion, Contraction, Status, Energy Conversion, Energy Reversion, Chakra, and finally Aura. Tch! That's a lot of seal work, this is gonna take a while. He began to etch the micro seals into the top half of the ball. He made the hinge seal and etched in the second half of the seals. Come son, I'm going to take a little blood from you. It will only be a little bit and it will make sure that this project is successful. The devoted little Froakie readily provided his blood and Naruto provided some of his own. Filling the seals with chakra-aura ink, to provide the stability and the finishing touch. Looking at the orange topped ball with a wooden bottom. He opened it and inspected the inside closing it again he sighed. Finished finally! Alright Froakie, let's try this out, shall we? Ok papa, I'm excited to find out what it will be like. Pumping a short burst of chakra through the button seal. Fuuinball GO! he said as he let the ball lightly tap Froakie's head. In a blue beam Froakie disappeared into the ball. The ball hit the ground and began to wiggle.
It moved for what seemed an eternity, then it stopped and let out a hiss and click. That was the indicator that the capture was successful. Naruto jumped up towards the sky, YEAH! I CREATED A WORKING FUUINBALL. Right as Talonflame flew into the room, stopping just short of the barrier in the building. Froakie: Let's Go! The blue beam released Froakie back into the real world. I.. I think it's a strange feeling, but I can get use to it. Alright little buddy, back up you go, Froakie taking his place on his papa's shoulder. They turned, and Naruto saw Talonflame right outside the barrier. Hey Talonflame! I guess everyone is worried about me by now, huh? Look! He held up the Fuuinball, I made my own capture device for this world. Talonflame seemed to nod in approval of his accomplishment. Right as he exited the barrier Noivern landed Ash and Pikachu on his back. You ok Naruto? That was a rather large aura spike, what happened? You have a ton of extra power all of a sudden! How did you do it? That's what I'd like to know too gaki, Sensei said as he and Hana-Sensei came out of the trees. See he nudged the Special Jounin, told ya' we'd all be here! What the hell is going on here? Shizune asked as she and Maito Guy arrived in Uzu for the rest of their stay. We could feel the Kyuubi's chakra from miles out. Master Jiraiya has something occurred? Is Naruto-Kun ok? Ok Froakie: Return. The blue beam sucked him off of his shoulder. Then there was a hissing click, the ball sealed and reduced to half it's size.
HO-LY SHIT! You actually created a capture device for this realm. I'm impressed and proud of you brother. You're a real pokemon trainer now! He clapped Naruto on the shoulder. Shizune finally catching up to what was going on. Ohhhh! Was that little toad not one from Myobokuzen? Yes and technically no as well. Yes Froakie was born on Myobokuzen, his creator is from a different world and used the energy from his world in conjunction with large amounts of Nature Energy. This energy hybrid pokemon chose Naruto as his human partner. Ash-kun tasked Naruto with creating a capture device for this realm, apparently he was successful. Jiraiya beamed at his apprentices, proud of their accomplishmentsin such a short time. While Naruto had grown in leaps and bounds, Ash took to Fuuinjutsu quite nicely as well. It wasn't anything close to Uzumaki standards, but for the average person he was growing quite adept. Naruto released Froakie and the blue beam was closer to the color of a Rasengan. While the capture beam was a dark, almost royal blue. He noticed his Godson's clan swirl as the button that works the device. Stroke of genius that was, way to let everyone know who made it. Naruto made it chakra sensitive, in this case, because the boys were bonded through aura and chakra. They are currently as close to blood relatives as you can get, without actually sharing at least one parent. Honestly even after all these years, Fuuinjutsu does some freaky ass shit! Because of the amount of mobility both boys have, their style although similar in theory. In practice are vastly different. Both employ speed and hit and run tactics but that's where the similarities end. While both boys are fast, Naruto is a class above. Ash tends to have a larger repertoire of defensive moves. Where as Naruto is relentless when he attacks. When Naruto moved on to the 5th level of sealing theory. He wrote resistance and gravity seals on to both he and Ash. This cause the boys already impressive progress to skyrocket. Naruto's control went back to high-chunin while Ash currently tops out at Low Jounin control. Guy had been there for a week when Ash finally unveiled the Shadow Kunai Jutsu. The power of darkness aura and the shape manipulation of chakra. Can be used to fight or blow up your opponent. Has the same explosive effect Shadow Ball does. During practice with Shizune he let her have a taste of his Shadow Senbon. Needless to say all of the mentors were very proud of the progress Ash Ketchum was making. Despite being the pacifist of the group, he was proving to very formidable. The Pikachu too learned this Aura Sphere Ketchum and Uzumaki were capable of using. During the beginning of the second month in Uzu. Anko, Kotosuke, Choza, and Yugao came to take over as Shizune and Guy had business to attend to in Konoha. Ok gaki's! I hear you two are fast, she pulled several kunai from her coat. One explodes, the other cuts, Anko backflipped out of the way. Making space to slam her palm on the ground Summoning Jutsu! A Milotic sized snake appeared out of right field Froakie: Headbutt! He missed and this got on the toadling's nerves. Enough to anger him into learning Water Gun. Did the little one just learn an attack mid-battle? Anko had to respect the tenacity the little toad had despite being virtually a newborn. Hey Naru, step back, let me handle her. You have it out for me for some reason Mitirashi-San. I don't know why, but I do know that you only understand one language. This seems to be your boss summons, or close enough based on your chakra reserves. So, out of respect for the fight and you. I'll respond in kind, his eyes narrowed as he turned his cap backwards. He put a fist up in the air, Stronger, Together! The chakra exploded off of them in waves. Anko could feel the foreign aura as well but didn't know much about it. The toad was covered in a large bubble of water. He lept in the air and when he landed the water trailed after him. Coalesceing on his back, in a Fuma Shuriken made of water energy. He had features that were reminiscent of Ash. Their energy seemed to be both intertwined and simultaneously amplified. This was THEIR power, together, and it was amazing. I believe we're going to have to reassess Ash Ketchum's threat level. It would appear that he has tricks untapped up his devious little sleeves. Night Slash, Fury Cutter, and Areial Ace! Let them have it Greninja, Ash said as he punched towards Anko. Rushing in a few seconds after the Toad moved in. Anko was not prepared for the Shadow Ball that met her lower back. She was flying as she watched Greninja dispatch her summons almost simultaneously. Then she snapped a tree and just lay there in a heap. Luckily Hana and Shizune-Sensei were present or she could've been hurt. When she came to she jerked awake instinctively grabbing at the spot where the Shadow Ball hit. Well shit, I guess I messed that one up, didn't I? Hey gaki, Ash, sorry about giving you such a hard time. I see why Hokage-Sama decided to bet on you. Too bad I can't manipulate shadows or I'd be pestering you to teach it to me. I can't be too mad at you, I have a hard time going all the way in fight with humans. I am so accustomed to using my partners that I have difficulty. I don't want to hurt another person, but this, this isn't my world. So until I return to it, if I even do, I will need to adapt everything I know to this worlds way of being. Or I simply won't survive long enough to find a way home. A light shone on Greninja as he returned to his normal appearance. When the Jounin squad returned to Konoha, they had lots to talk about with Lady Tsunade.
Choza, Yugao, and Kotosuke, would continue on their journey. Their next stop was in Tea Country, a local Lord has requested Shinobi assistance. This way the boys can take some missions, make a little money. Get some experience, more so Ash, he is rather new to all of this. 4 months into the journey and Sensei concluded that Ash was ready to get his hands dirty. Hawlucha: I choose you! I need you to keep an eye on Froakie, you got me!? Naruto and I have a mission and we are only bringing you and Froakie. Can I count on you Hawlucha? He clenched a fist, of course you can boss! I've got him, don't you worry. Awesome! Hey thanks Hawlucha, I appreciate you having his back. Naruto said as he was nervous for his little Froakie. Ohhhh! This reminds me of you and Noivern, Ash. I guess you're right buddy, that's true. But I care about all of you like that. Hawlucha nodded in agreement, Naruto just watched. Ash was amazing, he had nothing but his companions with him. Stuck in a strange and unfamiliar world, I don't know if I would be able to adapt that fast. He grabbed Ash's shoulder, I'm really glad to have met you Ash Ketchum. For good or ill I wouldn't want it any other way. Same here Naruto, this is different but I feel like our battling style will grow in layers and complexity. The meeting with the local Lord went well. The details of the mission were relayed and while the Sensei stayed Jiraiya and Yugao sent clones as observers. They had to ensure they carried out their mission successfully. As the boys got their equipment ready, Ash was a bit nervous. He knew that he would have to go through the paces. That these Shinobi were not only housing him and his team bit teaching him all sorts of neat techniques. His Harden technique had grown a bit during the last 2 months. I'm sure Choza-Sensei's Multi-Size Jutsu can help bring me closer towards Iron Defense. Naruto could sense the unease rolling off of Ash in waves. Hey bro, I just want you to know, I understand if it bothers you. The Shinobi life isn't for everyone, but from what you tell me. The stuff you get into with your Pokemon, isn't much different than our missions here. I'm pretty sure some of those organizations back where you're from would do anything if they had to. People be damned, Ash cringed when Naruto said that. As Lysander is a prime example of megalomaniacs that would burn the world for a stupid goal. Maybe this is what I need to harden my heart enough to do what must be done. All of his pokeballs wiggled in response to these words. They too were ready to back their trainer to the end. Pikachu, be our eyes in the back. Hawlucha, Naruto, let's go! Ash and Naruto split when they approached the encampment from the west. Naruto crept towards the back, while Ash and Hawlucha snuck towards the main entrance of the camp. The edges of Ash's aura were tingling with excitement and danger. Suddenly he reflexively snapped 3 needles in the direction of the danger. Hawlucha making a silent jump landing on the paralyzed thug. Ash chose his Senbon to coated in a paralytic rather than a poison. He had plenty of time to examine the pros and cons of venoms and toxins later. One of the thugs came running out of a tent. He was met with an incoming Shadow Kunai that blew 3/4 of his head off his shoulders. Ash stopped and had to focus not to lose his dinner. He'd never seen the effects on a living person. That was.. a lot to take in. Get a hold of yourself boss! This is the way Pokemon live in the world without human interaction. I thought you already knew that!? You humans are no different so what if you have speech and technology? You're still animals and still kill for a variety of things you deem important enough to do so for. We knew what we signed up for when we decided to become your Pokemon Ash. We would do ANYTHING for you, Everything for you, you are our family and we kill for ours. That is the reality of nature, this realm understands this better than ours does. Now you can lose your dinner once we have finished our task. Your orders Ash.. If it isn't Naruto, Froakie, or hostages kill them all. Hawlucha grabbed his Trainer's arm, I'm proud of you boss! We all have to grow up some time, I'm glad I was present to watch this transition in you. I'll follow you to hell itself if I must! All of Ash's pokeballs wiggled at Hawlucha's statement. Pikachu came over the speaker, no lies were spoken brother. Now, shut up and get the Bandit extermination done. Ash gathered up a large amount of power. This caused a few of the bandits to come out, to see what was causing the disturbance. Just in time to be peppered with Shadow Senbon and several Shadow Punches. These humans were not accustomed to Ghost tae, and it caused an effect similar to Bijuu chakra poisoning. Naruto went in from the rear of the camp. Silently he slit as many throats as he could get away with. Without drawing attention to himself. The beauty of having comical amounts of chakra and a cloning technique. He got almost all his half of the bandits simultaneously. Suddenly he felt the area get thick. Then there was that tell tale sign of Ash using that freaky Dark Type energy. Prior to the resealing it bothered the fox. Now it scoffs at the power when Ash uses it. The coolest thing about this situation is that the Kyuubi has gotten out of my way. Naruto thought, his chakra control the best it has ever been. Since picking up how to manipulate his aura power he gained from Ash. He's learned Spark, and Thunder Punch. Water Pulse and Aura Sphere. Ash must be finishing his end, I better see if he's ok. As he entered the middle of the camp, he saw as the last of the thugs fell to Ash's Shadow Senbon attack. Unlike the Nara versions all of Ash's Dark Type attacks have an explosive edge to them. Then there's the corrosive effect they produce, that's eeriely similar to Kyuubi's chakra. It's crazy that less than a year ago Ash was afraid to harm humans. Now look at him, doing a Bandit Extermination mission and completing it. None of the Shinobi could teach him anymore than the Great Breakthrough. So Ash taught him Air Slash, Air Cutter, and Razor Wind. Naruto could already move above Quick Attack speeds bordering on Extreme Speed. During Anko Sensei's stay she pushed his Harden technique to the border of Iron Defense. Between her and the Taijutsu monster that is Maito Guy. They punished the boys every day they were present. Kotosuke Sensei was patient and drilled the boys with tactics and the subtleties of Shinobi combat.
