"Himeno-san, I thought we could be friends, you know? But because of that personality of yours, I've grown to hate you," Watanabe hissed at Yui, her voice dripping with venom. She looked like she was seconds away from grabbing Yui's hair and yanking it.
"Is that so? Well, I never really planned on getting along with you, Watanabe-san."
Yui said it with that same infuriating smile on her face. The sight of it only made Watanabe more irate.
"You...!"
"Alright, class," the teacher announced as they entered the room. "The afternoon class is starting, so I want everyone back in their seats now."
"Tsk!"
Watanabe clicked her tongue in frustration before reluctantly returning to her seat.
Yui's smile never faltered. In fact, it seemed she wasn't the least bit remorseful. If anything, she looked thrilled.
