After his conversation with Coulson, Link began to ponder another thought. If Coulson were truly killed by Loki in the future, could he be revived using the dragon bones? He wasn't sure if he could save Coulson, but he was also reluctant to reveal his own power. It seemed better to let Nick Fury know about the dragon bones and leave it to him to decide. Whether or not Hell's Kitchen collapsed wasn't something Link cared about. He wasn't a saint, and the fate of so many lives wasn't his responsibility.

Coulson, understanding the gravity of the situation, responded quickly, "Good work. Don't mention this to anyone, and make sure the original recording is kept safe—no copies."

"Understood, I'll wait for your instructions," Link said before ending the call. With that handled, he now had some time to focus on another matter.

It was time to find the Purple Man.

That night, Link sat on a rooftop with Jessica, who was sipping from a glass of wine while lounging on a chair. Link smoked a cigar, quietly taking in the night as he activated his enhanced hearing. He was gathering information. The Purple Man, with his powers, was not difficult to track. He indulged in all manner of luxuries, frequently dining at high-end restaurants, staying in expensive hotels, and seducing beautiful women into his control.

As Link sifted through the sounds of the city, one thing became clear: The Purple Man liked to give orders. He was the type of person who enjoyed commanding others, and that made him relatively easy to track if you knew where to listen.

Despite this, the Purple Man was careful. He knew his limits. In a direct confrontation, a well-placed sniper bullet could end him, so he never stayed in one place for too long, constantly moving from hotel to hotel. New York was full of random occurrences and accidents, allowing the Purple Man to avoid attention, which is why no one had caught him yet. Even Link didn't know if the man could control him.

Jessica remained quiet, not wanting to interrupt Link's concentration. She had been focusing on training lately, finally embracing her powers instead of avoiding them. Had she started training earlier, she would have been much stronger by now.

Link continued analyzing the targets until he finally locked onto the Purple Man's location. He wasn't far—living in a luxurious apartment near Central Park. It wasn't surprising; the man knew how to live well. Now, Link knew exactly where to find him, but he didn't act immediately.

No need to rush. The Purple Man would stay there tonight. What Link needed now was a plan—a way to eliminate him. Link remained in his chair, listening carefully to the sound of the Purple Man's voice, confirming that his target would be staying put.

---

The next morning, Link dropped Jessica off at her charity before continuing his pursuit of the Purple Man. His target hadn't moved from his location. Confident the man would remain there for a few days, Link headed to Hell's Kitchen to find a sniper rifle.

As he wandered through the area, he came across a small law firm: Murdock & Nelson. Link had mentioned to Jessica that she should establish a charitable foundation to support this firm. Matt Murdock, also known as Daredevil, had a strong sense of justice but was a deeply conflicted person. Despite advocating for legal justice, he often donned his Daredevil persona to fight crime outside the law.

Link didn't plan to get involved in Murdock's personal crusade. His interest in sponsoring the law firm was purely pragmatic—a way to give Jessica something to do while also gaining some tax benefits.

Setting up a charity foundation was a good way to invest money while dodging taxes. Wealthy people knew how to play the game, and while some genuinely believed in the causes they supported, many used these foundations to maintain control over their wealth without having to pay taxes or even inheritance fees.

As Link parked outside the law firm and walked inside, he was greeted by Karen Page, who had been working at the firm since her rescue.

"Good morning, sir. Are you here to hire our services?" Karen asked, noticing Link's expensive attire. Clearly, he didn't seem like the typical client, but that didn't stop her from hoping. The firm was struggling financially.

Link smiled. "Not exactly. I've heard this law firm offers free legal aid and I'm very interested. I wanted to stop by and take a look. Are Mr. Murdock and Mr. Nelson available?"

"They're in court right now, but they should be back soon. Please, have a seat," Karen offered, quickly realizing this man might be a potential benefactor. "Can I get you some water?"

She handed him a glass of water as Link glanced around the modest office. It was clear the place was in need of funds. The furniture was old, and everything seemed worn down. It was the kind of place that could use a serious investment.
