Chapter 1 - One of us will be there(1)

"You know what, Angela? Now Andrey is all grown up too! If you're that unhappy, let's just get a divorce!"

Inside the vast mansion, the panting man's angry voice echoed. His pale face was bright red with anger as his glowing green eyes glared into the golden eyes of the women in front of him.

The man's tall stature and breathtaking handsomeness might have intimidated anyone, yet the slightly shorter woman, who was equally beautiful, didn't even budge.

"Cough, cough! DAD!!!"

A handsome boy, around eighteen years old, with golden eyes and brown hair, cried out in chock.

"Sure! Let's do that!"

"No, okey so-.. What???.. That easily you- You..!? Do you think I won't do it? I will send you the appointment!!"

"Yea, Tae-Hyung! Book it and send it as fast as you can!"

"!!!!"

Everyone in the room seemed stunned and were in the same position, even after the woman named Angela left the white mansion carrying her luggage.

In the dim room, the curtains were tightly closed. Smiling like a madwoman, there stood a woman looking to be in her early twenties. In her hand, drenched in a bright red color, a cleaver. Looking at the huge bloody red packages in front of her.

"Good hand sizes! This should fit into the boxes!"

With her red hands, she took the white smartphone. Leaving red marks on it as she, for the tenth time, looked at the message with cold eyes.

[Divorce court 18/6 14:00,

 be there an hour early!

p.S. your soon to be ex husband!!!!]

'After six months, he finally sent it a week ago. What was the date again, 15th?. No, it's 16th... That easily? Ha!"

"Pfffft hahahaha, That easy?! One of us will be there! For sure.."

She started laughing again.

Then her cold eyes gazed from the now hand-sized packaging to another huge packaging also containing the same red colored content and then from that to the medical license on the wall.

"Professor, it was only right for the patient's family to know that the patient died because of medical negligence. "

"You! You are..! You are just a shameless wench who doesn't know how the world works! Are you happy now, do you think they can prove it? Do you know which family Doctor Man comes from? The only thing you ruined is your own life. After studying for 14 years, now, you can only frame your medical license on the wall!"

Taking her eyes off the wall, her gaze fell back on the package.

"Tsk! How dirty! Sure, people get what they give! I'm not even feeling guilty here! After all, I have to get rid of the old things if I want to start anew!"

With determination, she unwrapped the plastic around the cold packaging; her nose wrinkling from the powerful smell.

Chop. Chop.. Chop and the last hand sized piece got placed in the white container.

"SHIT! My bloody carpet!" She cried out in disappointment at seeing the red stains on the carpet. Since it was white, it wasn't usable anymore.

Rolling the carpet, she dragged it together with the white container out of her apartment door, to the elevator, and into the back of her car. Of course, she throws away the carpet that looked like someone had bled on it.

" Such a waste."

On her way back in the hall, she saw the neighbor's son. She smiled at the high school boy as she hides her red hands behind her and rushes to her house.

Locking the door, she exhaled. Looking at her hands and clothing, then at the messed up house.

" I am really out of it.. I should have at least washed my hands."

Ring! Ring!

[Son] blinked on her reddened phone screen.

" WHAT?" She answered coldly, still angry about their last conversation.

"hm Hi!" he said in a cautious tone.

The woman kept silence, trying to point out her unwillingness to continue this call.

"I wonder if you know where father is? I am sick and I need medicine, but no matter how many times I call, he won't answer."

She knew him like the back of her hands. Did he really think she would believe that lame excuse? He couldn't have called if he was really sick.

"No, I do not know where your father is! Why would I even know that?"

Knock! knock! Someone knocked on the door. Thurning her head to the clock hanging on the wall some inches away from the medical license, next to where a boxing gold medal had pinned to the wall. 23:50, not too early by none doctors sense.

'Who can it be at this hour?'

"But you know where I hop he is~?" She asked in a mysterious tone before opening the door and continuing in an icy voice.

"IN HELL, that way I would get all the money your grandmother sweated I am getting from him!"

Behind the door, she saw the neighbor boy's pale face.

"Gulp! Hel- Hello! H- Here you dropped you- your keys!"

The boy stammered and dropped the key on the ground as if he had seen a ghost. Then run as if that ghost was a hungry one...

Bang! Slamming the door without even looking at the car keys, she locked it. There were enough unsolved equations in her life needing to be solved that she didn't have time for concerning herself with the neighbor boy's actions.

"Who was that?"

She answered with sarcasm.

"My new son! His not even ashamed of being seen with me, you know! Ah and his very much polite and actually fears me enough to be respectful towards me. Anything else? If not, I am going to my death bed if your highness allows!"

Then, ended the call without waiting for a reply. She had lots to do.

Even though she said she's gonna sleep, she went to the kitchen. Scrubbing the liquids with the kitchen towels, Angela still felt the stench. So she opened a packet of plastic gloves and started scrubbing with detergent.

Thereafter, she took the towels with her to the bathroom. Taking off her stained clothes, she tossed everything in the wash machine. Pouring lots of powder and softener, she started the machine.

While the clothes were washing, she took a shower. Scrubbing her body with all her might to remove the stench. Draining herself, she wore clean clothes with a sunny, comforting smell.

**

Waking up to an empty apartment after getting barely two hours of sleep. Eating breakfast alone.

Then, looking at the frames on the wall, she punched and kicked the sand bag until her brain was empty of anything. A quick shower. Wearing whatever comes to hand, Angela biked for two hours.

Dragging the bike inside the elevator, pretending not to see the glares. Pressing the -21 floor button and waiting for almost 10 minutes to finally arrive at that floor. Dragging the bike and placing it on the ground while one of her feet still on it. Opening the food heaven convenience store and dragging the bike to the store's storage room. She had repeated this rutin, for six months now. She wasn't sure if she would miss this boring rutin, but for sur she would miss this place where most of her found childhood memories with her brothers where made.

Sitting behind the cashier desk, she thought 'I hope this final day, is an peaceful one'

'It's a damn hellish day. 'is what she thought two hours later.

"I'm re-ally an adult. Th-is -is here is my Id card.. Can I please buy the cigarette"

She took a deep breath while looking into the shaking eyes of the annoyingly tall, high school boy who shamelessly insisted on being an adult. Persisting to buy cigarettes.

Should she talk to her mother before she moves? If she is right his name was William and they, he and his nurse mother, lived in unit 23, the one next to her unit.

If it was her brother, he might have considered their puberty phase and tried talking to them gently. Maybe even asked the sheep-like neighbor guy, who seemed forced to buy cigarettes, if he needed help. Perhaps would have even tried to strike up a phenomenal discussion about life with the young villains behind him and tried to console them about their shitty lives.

 'But I'm not him.'

Right now, the only thing she could show these infants was how pathetically short-tempered ruined adults can be!

After dealing with almost a dozen drunkards in one day, she deosn't see, in herself, to tolerate this baby boy's pity show. Not, while also seeing his cheering, with empathizing eyes, classmates with uniforms revealed under their jackets, not knowing what they are getting themselves into.

Do they think that she doesn't have enough problems on her plate???

'Guess what? I have plenty on my plate and I don't lack a ridiculous criminal record like having sold cigarettes to minors.'

"Dear-customer, I really can't sell you cigarettes unless I see your own ID card!"

One of the boy's from the crowd came further and leaned to the counter. He was a regular, mostly coming for lunch. Glaring at her with his sparkly silver eyes that resemble those of his brother's.

"Listen missy, just sell him the damn cig!! Why are you being so difficult? You know, your coworker does it all the time." said the handsome tall boy, who's clothes screamed"I am rich!".

The word 'missy' made her lose the last string of sanity in her. While she loved appearing younger, now it had become a sore spot for her.

So she pulled the boy who said that damn word. Baring her teeth at him.

"No you listen Pretty boy! Come to yourself now and distance yourself from this guys! Do you enjoy your small harmless prank? Can't you see the pity show that, puppy like, bastard has been throwing? Next thing you know, is him, jumping down the stairs in a CCTV blind spot, screaming I'm sorry, don't!

Thinking no one would believe you did this shit! It's not like you're a killer or a psychopath right? People who know you would never believe in him! Why would you even do this!

Then guess what? Everyone will believe in him! Cause that's what they do! They believe in their eyes!

Next thing you know is your parents awaiting your eighteen's birthday to throw your disgraceful being out their house! No friends.. No parents and No siblings!

Then imagine you get a way to get out of the house that treats your existence as sin. You study like thief trying not to get noticed by anyone then you lose that too, because you are not the type of trash, that is that trash of a trash, human being.. " is what she wanted to say. However not feeling like she had the right to do that. She just glared at him with eyes full of words and let go of his clothes.

However, she could somehow scare them away. Not being able to admonish, as her life was at the worst point it could get, yet she could drop som bombs using the secrets she had found out during her time here. It just happened that she had heard quite the interesting rumors surrounding these batch. She was ready to reveal every secret of them she had found during working that the store started shaking like crazy...
