"Is there anything else you would like me to do for you, ma'am?" The makeup artist asked the gorgeous, heavily made up bride seated before her.
The bride, Emma whose eyes had been closed since as the makeup artist, Alyssa worked on her face, slowly opened her eyes.
"No, I believe this is great." Emma replied to Alyssa as she stared at her face in the mirror, assessing the makeup.
"I wonder what David would say if he sees me..." Emma wondered aloud, all smiles. That was the groom.
"He is definitely going to gush over your unmatched beauty. You are such a beauty to behold. Your groom is really a lucky man." Alyssa replied to Emma and the latter smiled.
"I know, right." Emma stated, more to herself with a sweet smile.
"And he is so handsome too. You two are a perfect match. I want such a tall, lanky, beautiful skinned man for myself too. You got any connection or link, ma'am?" Alyssa asked her, in a light tone and Emma chuckled.
"God, Alyssa! Where do you want to put Collins?" Emma inquired. Alyssa was a family friend to Emma so she knew little about her.
"Collins is just a friend. I am tired of telling that to everyone. I want a lover not a friend." Alyssa protested but had on a shy smile at the mention of Collins. Emma raised her eyebrows.
"That's where it starts." Emma pointed out with a knowing smile. As she said that, she remembered how she had started out with her man, David. They had met one fateful day and it was love at first sight.
"Here comes my prince charming!" She had blurted out as she laid her eyes on him. He was everything she wanted and needed in a man.
Not only was he very handsome, caring and romantic, David was also rich, from a well-to-do family. She didn't know his family was actually a business associate of hers until she took him home for a simple introduction. Their families were so happy that their relationship would strengthen their business ties.
"Oh, I think I left my keys at the patio outside." Alyssa stated suddenly. That brought Emma from her train of thought.
"Uh!" Emma mumbled.
"I need to go check them. I will be back soon." Alyssa informed her before rushing out of the room.
"Sure, take your time." Emma replied to her. Then she grabbed her phone, intending to take some selfies and make a video of herself. Few minutes later, the door swung opened and Aiden walked in. He was the groom's best man.
"I know I shouldn't be here but this is really urgent." Aiden informed Alyssa.
"I can't get hold of David." Aiden announced.
"What do you mean by that? You two slept in the same room, so how come you can't get hold of him?" Emma inquired, feeling so surprised.
"I went out to get something for a moment only to return and find the door locked. I knocked and there was no answer. That was like 30 minutes ago." Aiden expatiated and Emma became alarmed.
"Have you tried calling him? Anyway, let me call him." She asked the question but didn't wait for a reply and immediately started dialling his number.
"I have been calling him but he isn't picking up." Aiden informed her, sullenly.
Emma kept dialling the number nevertheless and It rang repeatedly but there was no response. That was getting her scared. David was always with his phone.
"David won't ignore my call for anything. What is going on?" She wondered aloud and dialled the number again and again.
"No, something is definitely wrong. I need to go and check on him. I have a spare key of his room." She concluded and quickly walked out of her room, headed to David's. They had lodged in one of the city's biggest hotels where the ceremony would be taking place.
"It's okay, I can go alone. I need you to go and check outside, maybe he decided to get some fresh air before the commencement of the ceremony and dropped his phone in the room. Let's not panic." She said to Aiden. The last statement was more for her as she was trying so hard not to panic but was failing miserably.
"Okay." Aiden replied to her and quickly headed outside while Emma went to the door.
"No, nothing is wrong, Emma. Everything is under control. Don't make a big deal out of this. Your big day is today and nothing will ruin it." Emma said to herself as she neared David's room.
She inhaled and exhaled deeply as she inserted the key in the doorknob.
The door opened and Emma stepped into the room carefully.
"David, are you in there?" She spoke up and instead of the masculine response she was expecting to hear, she heard something else. Something completely different from her expectation.
Moaning and grunting!
"Wait, what the heck is that?" She wondered and stepped further into the room. The moaning became louder.
"Okay, maybe he is just watching some movies to while away time." She thought and let out a dry chuckle.
She finally entered the bedroom and she stopped in her track at what she saw.
Her heart sank and her jaw dropped.
There on the bed, on top of her husband to be, was her sister, Victoria. The duo were stark naked and Victoria was riding the man furiously. The moans and grunts coming from David's mouth indicated he was enjoying every bit of it.
"No, this is not happening..." Emma stated, shaking her head. She couldn't believe what she was seeing.
"Fuck it! Your sister can't do that! You are so sweet, baby. Faster." Emma could hear David's voice saying to Victoria. Victoria laughed. The duo were completely lost in the exercise that they didn't notice that anybody had entered the room.
"On our wedding day?" Emma muttered and it felt like her world had just crumbled.
