Damian and Kyle stood in front of Hunt, who lay sprawled on the ground, gasping for air. The crash had left him battered and barely able to breathe, his chest rising and falling erratically. Damian's eyes narrowed as he leveled his gun at Hunt's head, his finger curling around the trigger.
"Let's get this shit over—"
Before he could finish, a shot rang out, piercing the air with a sharp crack. The bullet struck the ground just to Hunt's left, missing him by inches.
Damian stumbled back, shocked, and whirled to face Kyle. "Have you gone mad or something? Why the fuck did you push me, huh?" he roared, his voice brimming with anger.
Kyle didn't back down, his face twisted in frustration. "Are you blind or something? Didn't you see the warning windows?"
Chris's voice crackled over the comms. "What happened? Did you kill him?"
