Chris gestured for Slayer to move carefully as they ventured deeper into the junkyard behind the abandoned factory. The area was littered with rusted machinery, shipping containers, and debris, creating a maze of cover.
"Stay in the shadows," Chris whispered. Slayer nodded, keeping low as they advanced.
Chris raised a hand, signaling a stop. A single guard patrolled the area, his flashlight sweeping lazily across the broken-down vehicles.
"Hold here," Chris muttered. "Stay back."
Slayer held his position as Chris silently maneuvered behind the guard. With the precision of a predator, Chris closed the gap and whispered mockingly, "Peekaboo" causing the guard to spin around.
Before the man could react, Chris slammed the butt of his weapon into the guard's temple, sending him crumpling to the ground.
"That's how it's done," Chris said with a smirk, motioning for Slayer to follow. "Let's go."
