After completing the mission and returning to the bustling Mission Area, Damian was utterly drained, feeling as though his entire body was ready to give out. The area was as crowded as ever, full of people rushing to and from the mission board. No one spared a glance at their tattered clothes or disheveled appearances. Damian, with a weak wave toward Kyle, muttered, "I'm gonna rest for a while. Let's meet again sometime later."
Kyle, still energetic despite their ordeal, waved back. "Sure thing! Let me add you as a friend first."
Damian, too exhausted to show much emotion, shrugged. "No matter how many times I go through this, it still feels like we're stuck in some sort of game." He glanced down at his watch, gesturing at the various features. "The missions, this watch, party members, and now friends—it's all straight out of an MMORPG or something."
