L'Eglise des Vampires didn't appear imposing like Notre-Dame Cathedral. A small wooden chapel, it rested on the edges of the Père-Lachaise Cemetery on the northeast side of Paris. With a slender steeple and a wooden roof, it looked like just a regular church, unnoticed by the tourists that flocked to the famous cemetery to pay their respects to Jim Morrison, Edith Piaf, Simone Signoret, Yves Montand, DJ Mehdi, Sarah Bernhardt, Maria Callas, Oscar Wilde, Colette, and Honoré de Balzac.
He walked ahead, while Bill held Ariana's arm, acting as the father of the bride. Sally and Elina carried the train of the dress. Ariana had her hair arranged beautifully in an updo with tendrils tumbling down artfully. The hairdresser had made her even lovelier, if that was possible.
