Chapter 9 - Chapter 9: Whimsical Ideas About The Future?

Note: I didn't expect some people would like my fanfic to the point of joining my Patreon even though there's not any advanced chapter as of now, thank you very much for Chelsea2Valve, Yuki, and Balmung 1989, if I succeed by some miracle in the future, you were the first to support me and it means very much to me.

Also, thanks to Marlon Angel for the comments, it's helping very much.

....

'Motherf*cker military.'

Fury was cursing inside; this is the problem with the military; they are not doing operations secretly but are all open.

They would use normal soldiers to capture mutants and the mutants captured would be treated like laboratory rats, it was already good that she followed them knowing they were from the government because has it been any person who worked in the military and awakened as a mutant, he would never trust the government because he has seen the ending mutants have.

'Maybe the reason she didn't try to leave in the first place was because she wasn't confident about her ability, but now, after the test, she wants to turn the table?' Fury could only think of this for the reason she followed them in the first place.

Seeing that protocol, 15 wasn't working; it only made him confirm her being an Omega-level mutant; he assessed the situation and finally came up with an idea.

He first ordered the agents: "Everyone, leave this room and let us have a private discussion."

The agents inside who were already thinking about their deaths, were surprised. Nonetheless, they were agents, and they knew that there were some secrets that they didn't need to know. Plus, Fury was the director, and what he said was absolute. Thus, they left.

After they left, Fury didn't speak immediately but clicked on the things on his wrist; it's an Alien technology able to make most of the technology on Earth around the user by 100m completely disabled; he didn't want their discussion to be leaked.

He said: "Sorry, Ms Emma, I didn't want to lie to you in the first place, but this is the protocol; I'm not from the military but from a worldly organization."

"We aren't directed by any government but operate as the shield of mankind against all the threats, be it mutants, enhanced superhumans, and Aliens."

"That's right; there are Aliens somewhere out there who once invaded the Earth but were repealed with us only through some accident and miracle."

"We only need your samples because we judged you as an Omega Mutant, someone with infinite potential; maybe we could create an enhanced human with the help of your gene that would help us against the war in case Aliens invade in the future."

Fury's world sounds so high, grounding, and noble that most people would believe it even though he wasn't completely lying.

To be honest, if there wasn't Hydra in, SHIELD wouldn't be so bad; although there's saying that SHIELD is useless and causes all trouble, only those who truly follow the Marvel-verse, like watching the SHIELD shows know that they aren't that useless.

As for something like they are the source of Loki's invasion? Please, that's the space gem; it doesn't matter in the hand of who it is; as long as it's on Earth, Thanos would eventually send his army, although it's just to test the bottom line of Odin and Ancient One.

Emma dissipated some of her Chakra making her as if she was calming down and her still uncontrollable power started calming down.

She said: "I have been in the army long enough to know that some sacrifices are necessary for the better of all; I'm also ready to sacrifice myself for the lives of those who are worthy."

"But, there is something that I would never allow like my blood being used for experiment, since there are mutants, enhanced humans, and Aliens like you said, I don't doubt the ability of humanity to maybe create a clone or use my gene to do something, so please, don't talk about this."

Fury nodded to what she said, looking reluctant when inside; he was, in fact, a little more pleased with her than at the beginning.

He indeed likes patriotic people and people who would act with what they have been told, but he likes more people who know that sometimes, some sacrifices are necessary in case of not enough strength.

He also reflected a little about what she said, he knows about the technology disponible on earth more than her.

In fact, although with some side effects, SHIELD currently possesses technology able to revive humans when the conditions are completed.

There are also technicians like Tony Stark, whom he judged at the level of Bruce Wayne in the DC Comic, the Super Soldier Serum, who, according to logic, should simply not exist.

What if, in the future, someone managed to create technology capable of cloning people like she said? An army of a person able to punch a person like a pasted meat?

He said: "Alright, Ms Emma, I admit that what you said makes sense, but can you at least calm down right now," then he pointed at the agent she punched earlier: "I think we need to heal him first."

'Hmm, thought you would be unreasonable,' but realistically speaking, Fury is someone who knows how to assess the situation, it's like when Loki attacked the SHIELD base in the movie, he didn't hesitate to downgrade his status to win some time and didn't play the arrogant young master like in some fanfic.

Then she looked towards that poor man she punched earlier; he could only blame himself for being the first bird to fly, though she didn't intend to let him like this.

He may be a Hydra agent or just a normal agent with family waiting for him. She couldn't let him be disabled, and of course, in fact, she did this on purpose to show her healing ability.

What's the ability that makes the government ready to do anything to study mutants? Why did Dr Connor become a Lizard? What about Osborne's reason for becoming a green goblin? What about the reason for Sentry's birth? It was just to have the health of a normal human; what if she could give it to them?

The military would tempt the white house by saying that they have almost created something that can make people immortal, and the white house wouldn't hesitate to allocate more money.

She now has the healing ability of Tsunade at its peak; although she can't make people immortal or regenerate limbs, she can pretty much heal almost anything; she would become like Pele in Brazil, a resource protected by the government.

She said: "I'm sorry, I really didn't understand what makes me even hit him, I'm not like this in normal time."

Fury just nodded as if understanding, then he saw her approaching the injured agent; he couldn't help but say: "What are you doing? Don't touch him, what if his situation became more severe?"

Emma didn't speak but came near to the agent, then she looked at her hands as if she was wondering about something, then she activated that green energy and placed her hand on the injured agent.

Fury was stunned by what she was doing; before he could say anything to her, he saw something astonishing, the agent's wounds were healing at a speed visible to the naked eye, and in 20 seconds, it completely healed.

A smile blossomed on Emma's face; it was the first time he had seen her smiling since she awakened, and it was a genuine smile; he wondered:'Maybe she was just as warm-hearted as described, just playing the strong because she was scared?'

If Emma knew what he was thinking, she would thank him for the good cards, although she was happy for another reason; she was happy because something like a notification appeared in front of her that Fury didn't seem to see; she awakened her system.

End of the Chapter

Hehe, what do you think is the system she awakened? And no, although it has some connections, it's not the healing system.
