Note: I used the idea of making the OCCs of Rimuru Tempest and Ciel (Tensura), for this fanfiction. For now, she will be a rival in the Blade Dance as another representative of the Ordesia Empire, born in Laurenfrost territory.
Remember that in this story Rimuru Tempest and Ciel are women, and errors can be found when translating the document into English.
Translation: Word (Microsoft).
Chapter 3
Rimuru found Ciel in the ruins of an ancient temple in Laurenfrost, where she was sealed in a dark crystal. Unlike other spirits, Ciel did not demand proof of courage, instead accepting Rimuru as his contractor immediately, something that surprised Rimuru so much. Since then, they have worked together, but Ciel has avoided answering questions about their true origin, only giving it its original name 'Beelzebuth'.

I am currently happy!
I have secured a place for this year' s Blade Dance .
And it's all thanks to my Ciel handling skills!
The spiritual weapon I wield is a scythe. A magnificent weapon that feels light in my hands, but with an edge as lethal as any other. It's stylish, intimidating, and seems perfect for me, or at least that's what I like to think.
What really surprised me, however, wasn't the scythe itself, but the spirit in which I made a contract. To my utter amazement, not only did I achieve a contract with a spirit, but this was a high-ranking spirit.
And, as if that were not enough, there was something else. I still can't quite believe. I didn't know that high-ranking spirits could take on a human appearance!
Yes, just as you hear it. The spirit that is now my companion, whom I affectionately call "Ciel," can take on a completely human form. Although that was not the most shocking thing. What really left me speechless was that... she looks exactly like me!
Well, not exactly. There's one difference that helps me distinguish ourselves: while my eyes are a bright golden color, Ciel's are red like ruby. A small, but clear difference that prevents us from confusing who is who.
At first, when I first saw her, I almost thought she was dreaming. That feeling of looking at yourself as if you were reflecting in a mirror is... weird, to say the least. But over time, I've grown accustomed to his presence.
Sometimes, I even think it might be like a big sister I never had, although I'm not sure if she sees things the same way. For now, we've formed a solid team, and I can't wait to show off our skills in the next Blade Dance.

The bustle of the festival filled the air, accompanied by the sweet aroma of typical sweets and the sound of laughter that echoed in every corner. The bright colors of the decorations adorned the streets, and the excitement of the Blade Dance participants could be felt in the air.
He walked between the stalls with Rinslet Laurenfrost and his ever-faithful companion, Carol. The two were longtime friends of mine, and our relationship had blossomed over the years.
"Rimuru, look at this! Isn't it absolutely adorable?" Rinslet held a small snowflake-shaped brooch he had just found at one of the stalls.
"It's cute, but... don't you think you have enough accessories, Rinslet?" I replied, trying not to laugh. He knew she couldn't resist anything that was elegant or refined, and especially if something looked adorable.
Carol, who was right behind Rinslet, sighed as she carried a bag of other items her wife had already bought. "Miss Rinslet, I remind you that we still have to visit the candy stand before they run out."
"Ah, you're right, Carol! We can't let others take the best treats before us." She turned on her heel and looked at me. "Come on, Rimuru! There is a stall that has the most delicious sweets of the entire festival. I'm sure you'll love them."
"Sweets, you say? Well, I can't say no to that."
Rinslet took my arm, pulling me enthusiastically, while Carol followed behind with her stoic but always attentive expression.
As we walked, I couldn't help but notice the joy in Rinslet's eyes. Although she used to show a proud and refined attitude, at times like this she was just a girl enjoying the festival with her friends.
We arrived at the stall, where Rinslet bought a couple of traditional sweets covered in sugar. "Here you go, Rimuru. Try it and tell me what you think."
I took one and tried it. The sweet melted in my mouth, leaving an exquisite taste. "This is amazing! You have good taste, Rinslet."
"Of course I do. Did you doubt it?" she replied, lifting her chin triumphantly.
Carol, on the other hand, only nodded with a faint smile as she accepted a sweet treat that Rinslet offered her.
We spent the rest of the time exploring the festival, talking about our expectations for the Blade Dance.
"Rimuru, are you ready for the competition?" asked Rinslet as we walked towards a fountain decorated with spirit stone lights.
"I am. Although I must admit that I feel a bit of pressure. This is my first Blade Dance, and I want to do my best."
"I'm sure you'll do well. After all, you have Ciel by your side," Rinslet said, referring to my hired spirit.
I nodded with a smile. "Yes, I am confident that we will make a great team."
"Besides, with us as your friends, you can't lose!" added Rinslet confidently.
"Thank you for your support, Rinslet. And also you, Carol."
"It's my pleasure, Miss Rimuru," Carol replied in her usual polite tone.
As the sun began to set, illuminating the sky with orange and pink hues, I knew that these moments of tranquility and joy would be valuable memories before the competition began.

The room was dimly lit by the glow of spirit stones. Its light flickered softly, creating a calm and quiet atmosphere. Ren sat on the bed, loosening the straps of her boots as Senji leaned against the wall, arms crossed.
"It will be interesting tomorrow," Sengo said, as he surveyed the star-covered sky.
"You're right," Ren replied, stretching slightly before settling under the covers. "Cover the window with the curtain. I want to be in the best condition to win tomorrow's fights."
Sengo turned his head towards her with a faint sneer. "As serious as ever, Ren. Don't forget to have a little fun."
Ren rolled his eyes, but didn't answer. As he closed his eyes, he heard the faint rustle of the curtain as it was drawn, followed by Sengo's footsteps moving away to his own corner of the room.
The flickering of the spirit stones continued to illuminate the room until their light subtly went out, allowing Ren to rest.
The next day.
The sound of explosives echoed through the air, like a clear signal to everyone present. As the spectators began to fill the coliseum, and the bustle grew with each step.
From the crowded stands to the corridors where the fighters were preparing, the excitement was palpable. The air vibrated with the energy of the spirits, mingling with the voices of the crowd that was anxiously awaiting the start of the tournament.
A loud and clear voice echoed over the entire bustle, amplified by the spirit stones that adorned the colosseum:
"Welcome to the Blade Dance! Today, the greatest elementalists will compete for the favor of the Spirit Kings and the opportunity to obtain a wish that could change their destinies forever."
The applause and cheers of the audience filled the air as the commentator continued fervently:
"This year, participants promise thrills like never before! From the most experienced warriors to the most promising young players, everyone is here to prove themselves in this legendary arena. Get ready for an unforgettable show!"
As the crowd celebrated, the names of the participants began to be announced one by one. In the shadows of the dressing rooms, Ren adjusted the straps of his sword with determination, while Sengo watched the illuminated sky from a small window, his expression calm but expectant.
"This holiday is interesting," Sengo murmured, as the applause of the audience peaked.
At one of the entrances to the combat area, Ren looked up at the sky of Astral Zero, where the colors of the explosives were still glowing. "It's time," she murmured, adopting a firm posture as she prepared to enter.
The crowd was on the edge of their seats, and the commentator, his voice amplified by the spirit stones, continued:
"And now, it's time to meet the elementalists who will compete for the favor of the Spirit Kings! These 16 elementalists hail from all corners of the world, ready to prove themselves in the Blade Dance arena!"

"From the Region of Valeria, we have Camille Lauret and Elise Marchand as representatives."

"From the Ignis Region, we have Siena Blanche, Viola Grayson and Aria Solenne as representatives."
The three participants from the Ignis Region moved forward together, their movements coordinated giving a glimpse of the strength of their unity and their determination to win.
"And finally, as an independent competitor, we have Ren Ashbell."
Deafening applause swept through the coliseum as Ren made his entrance, unconnected to any empire or kingdom, but with a presence that aroused expectation and respect.

The commentator took the floor again, his voice full of energy and expectation:
"Now, we start the draw for the singles matches of the first round! As you know, no confrontation will pit participants from the same empire or region against each other. It's the moment of truth!"
The sphere spun rapidly, and the first confrontation was projected on the screen:

Finally, the sphere spun once more, and the last confrontation was revealed:
"Eighth fight: Rimuru Tempest of the Ordesia Empire against Amara Weiss of the Waldor Empire."
The coliseum was filled with cheers as the names of both competitors flashed on the screen. Rimuru watched Amara with a mixture of curiosity and concentration, while the latter maintained a serious and firm expression, ready for the challenge that awaited her.
The bustle of the crowd reached its peak as the commentator's voice, amplified by the spirit stones, once again echoed over the colosseum:
"And now, the time has come! The competitors of the first round, Freya Claes from the Empire of Gaul and Camille Lauret from the Valeria Region, will have to stay in the arena. The other participants please return to their preparation areas and wait their turn. The Blade Dance is about to begin!"
The crowd erupted in cheers as Freya and Camille advanced to the center of the arena, their expressions serious and focused, preparing for their fight. The energy in the air was palpable, and the spirits of the competitors seemed to answer the call of the tournament.
"The show will start with the first match!" the commentator continued, his voice full of enthusiasm. "The other competitors will have a chance to shine in due course, but now it's the turn of these two brave elementalists."
The sound of explosives echoed through the sky, marking the beginning of the battle.
