"Wow! That's cool," Daichi shouted in awe.

As soon as his eyes led to the home page, he couldn't help but be mesmerized.

The UI was out of this world. The design, the colors, and placement of the various interactive widgets…

It was as if the interface itself was popping out of the screen like a hologram.

Something straight out of a sci-fi movie!

His gaming instincts were tingling. He couldn't contain his excitement any longer.

Daichi started fiddling with the interface, testing out the buttons and available options, opening and closing the tabs… All while smiling, eyes glittering like stars.

The

was quite straightforward, it has a big round button in the middle and other options scattered around it.

'Are those the features they were talking about?' wondered Daichi.

But before checking them out, he went down to the bottom of the screen where the , , and other information about the agency could be found.

The were the same as the one he saw before entering this page except they contained more useful tips and pieces of information such as the , , and .

As for the and the , after reading the contents of each, he couldn't get anything valuable from them.

'What is this nonsense!' Exclaimed Daichi, clueless.

He couldn't understand any of the terms and things mentioned in this section.

Words like , , … and so on were things one would only come across in some sci-fi movie or some sort of fantasy stories related to outer space.

However, looking at the interface of the program itself, it wasn't that far-fetched from reality.

Since he couldn't comprehend the meaning of the words written, he decided to move on and return to the

.

It was time for Daichi to start the program.

The new page had the same design as the previous one except the interface was filled with lists and drop boxes arranged in a particular order.

"As expected, it looks like a game setting," he observed.

Having played countless games throughout his life from the classic RPGs to the new genres like , , and the like, he has seen similar UI and Set-ups as this one.

'But I have to say this one looks the best,' he commented.

The options range and choices were insane, making it more customizable based on preferences, which exceeded his expectations.

It was as if they analyzed and gathered data on all possible combinations regarding the creation of a world.

This alone proved to him that, whoever made this program has put a lot of effort and research into making it.

Whether all this turned out to be real or not has no importance to him at that moment.

All he wished for was to see how far they had gone in building this program.

"WORLD SETTINGS"

1- [TYPE - ORIGIN]

*******

Taking examples from the novels and stories he has read, Daichi tried to visualize what each of the types would look like.

'Um, should be referring to novel worlds or maybe dreams?

Then, would be something spiritual or intangible, would be for game worlds or simulations, and is for tangible worlds that exist…'

"…Interesting," he said.

If it was really as he guessed, there was only one possible type of world he would choose.

For this section, Daichi didn't have to think hard about it as the options were straightforward.

Thus, he selected the one which he liked the most out of all of them.

'I would rather live in a fantasy than this boring world ruled by science and logic,' he thought.

It was how Daichi had always perceived his life, bland and void of life.

Just the fact of imagining and visualizing all those different worlds, cultures, places, and characters that could exist, following the journey and adventures, living a life outside of this world common senses and beliefs…

Made him smile with a heartwarming face he hadn't had in ages.

It was his dream to escape this boring life where things only go in one particular order, where people's lives were merely the results of following the rules of society and confining themselves into boxes, walking aimlessly toward an impeded doom.

He signed at the thought of such a reality and wished all this was just an illusion and that he could free himself from this world's shackles.

*Sigh*

Taking a deep breath, he continued with the settings, in the hope of at least occupying his mind and maybe seeing the results of this so-called program.

This one was a huge list. It had so many options to choose from.

Seeing all that, Daichi thought to himself, 'What's the point of a magic world without mana?'

Then, without hesitation, he hit the button.

The other options seemed like very bad choices unless one is fine with living in deserted wastelands or some survival world with apocalyptic settings.

After thinking for a bit, he decided to go for .

For this section, Daichi had something in mind.

There were already tons of medieval stories, tales, and games as much as modern and futuristic ones popping out now and then.

Many have already followed that route, only changing things here and there to make it look appealing but, inevitably, they ended up looking the same.

'Why not do things differently?' he thought.

Out of all the stories he has read, the games he played, and the shows he watched, the ones that always stand out were those that manage to effectively combine old and medieval settings with new and modern technologies and concepts without falling too much on one side.

Daichi felt nostalgic, remembering all these different worlds that shaped his childhood and which he grew up with.

'I wish there were more things like that.' He thought.

Even though there were still new things appearing that managed to garner his interest, they fell short compared to all the mainstream trends that flooded the markets, making everything look average and lacking.

The few ones that no one talked about or only mentioned vaguely were the ones that ironically turned out the best.

Those are the types of stories that Daichi was used to reading in his free time, the ones he could still find joy in and give him hope even with the that he was going through daily.

Which is why his choice was .

A world that is neither fully modern nor fully medieval, one with limitless possibilities, everlasting changes, development, and growth.

'I wonder what it would look like,' he pondered with excitement.

7- [CURRENT STATUS - STATE]

******

Based on the words alone, he could already portray what the world could be like in a specific state.

For example, and would refer to worlds with a certain level of danger and warfare events and situations.

'Uhm…First, I don't want to waste my life on a battlefield, fighting useless wars for others.

Second, survival isn't my forte so, and are a no-go.

If that's the case then, I should probably choose something safe and stable.'

> Peaceful

*******

'There is nothing better than a peaceful world for adventures and explorations,' he thought.

It reminded him of the old-time fantasy stories and games that focus on adventuring and exploring the world rather than the bloody battles, edgy lines, and dark and gruesome plots that are overly exaggerated and didn't add anything to the experience.

Once he was done, Daichi checked everything out to see if he missed anything and proceeded to save.
