Chapter 32 - The Metal Forest Part 5

A robotic owl with gray feathers that hid its mechanical structure behind giant wings with a total wingspan of 4 meters, observed Megatron with its large blue eyes. From the animal's point of view, he saw how the energon of the forest flowed evenly and in balance, however, its observation capabilities were very abnormal, being able to see Lux as an extension of the forest, a part of the forest that was in danger because of an unknown stranger.

The owl's eyes turned red, specifically reflecting Megatron, then it spread its wings, entering a hunting position and emitted a great cry, as if it were tearing through the sky so thin and hideous that it was, making everyone in the area including Lux try to protect their ears.

Megatron couldn't help but release Lux from his grip due to the pain he felt in his audio receptors, even losing his balance due to the sound disorientation.

When Megatron let go of me from his hand, I practically fell more than 7 or 6 meters against the ground, the first thing I heard was not even the impact against the ground, but the sound of the "crack" and a hallucinating pain in my left leg.

I didn't know what was worse, if it was the torturous sound of that damn owl or the pain that dominated my leg, but fortunately after a few seconds, I felt a relief from the pain quickly until I was finally able to get up from the ground. I walked towards Airachnid, who, like me, was trying to cover her ears, but in the case of Cybertronians, this ended up being more effective because they are more sensitive in all 5 senses.

"Airachnid, are you okay?" I asked, touching her head, making her look at me with a clear expression of pain.

"That thing won't shut up! My hearing sensors feel like they're going to explode." Airachnid moaned in pain, feeling more pain than she felt in her entire body.

"I hate that sound too." I said, looking at the noisy owl, which was making my head hurt.

After another 5 seconds, the owl fell silent, dodging an Energon blast fired by Megatron himself, who used his rage to shoot him. "That damned primitive creature!" Megatron growled, firing the cannon in his right forearm with enough force to pierce the trees, making it impossible for his shot to reflect.

The owl continued to dodge with ease as it began to fly through the branches, making Megatron's fury even more evident, but before the Decepticons could join forces to help their leader kill the bird, a large 8-meter bear appeared running towards the Decepticons, throwing them in several directions with its great strength.

The Bear roared like a war cry like a berserker, intimidating the Decepticons, but that wasn't enough to stop them from shooting at him with everything they could, but unfortunately for them, the Bear's armor was dense enough to not be bothered by the constant shots being fired at him, only becoming fuel to make him even more furious. With his strong, dense claws, he slaughtered the Decepticons with just a single blow each, dismembering parts of them as if they were simple toys.

Megatron gritted his teeth even harder, drawing his sword from his forearm. "IRRATIONAL BEAST, I WILL EXTINGUISH YOUR SPARK AND PUT YOUR HEAD ON MY WALL." Megatron declared, lunging at the beast to take it on with brute force, even though he was weakened from his one-on-one battle against Airachnid.

I saw the confusion, I saw an opportunity to get out of here, and I didn't want to be Yogi Bear's food. "Airachnid, this is no time to act like sleeping beauty, you need to get up." I said, using my strength to try to help her, but she was quite weakened and worn out.

"Allspark, you need to get out of here, you cannot be destroyed." Airachnid whispered, seeing how the battle was unfolding.

"This is no time to be dramatic, I'm not going to give you a coaching speech to try to get you to stand up!" I continued, trying to help her up, but even though she was relatively small compared to the Cybertronians, she was quite heavy, she was in urgent need of a diet.

As I tried to help her get up, I noticed that something was slowly approaching in my direction, I seriously observed what was approaching, seeing that it was something I was not expecting to see at that moment. What approached in front of me was a pack of giant wolves, each over 4 meters tall, but what stood out was the alpha of the group, who was about 6 meters tall and a little longer. All of them menacingly lavishing their prey with silver teeth and fangs so sharp they make any meat they chew look like mincemeat.

I was tense, they all had red eyes that looked thirsty for blood. At first glance, I believe there were at least two dozen giant wolves, but maybe more. The alpha of the group stood a few meters away from me, staring at me seriously, but without growling, as if he were expecting something.

A small idea popped into my head, but I didn't know if it was worth risking what I suspected until I looked to my side and saw Airachnid struggling to get up because of the wolves, probably due to the adrenaline generated by their sudden appearances.

"She and I are not enemies." I touched Airachnid, hoping they could understand my words. "Your true enemy is over there." I pointed to Megatron, who decapitated the bear with his sword, then raised the bear's head with one hand in a sign of victory.

The wolf stared at me for a second and nodded, understanding my words, walking towards Megatron, while the other wolves followed his example. With each one starting to growl towards Megatron, making him pay attention and notice that he was being surrounded.

Megatron looked at the wild wolves, getting irritated by so much disorder in front of him. "Come on. I'll make a coat with all your furs!" Megatron teased, accepting the challenge out of pure arrogance. As his warship flew over the forest with imposingness, while several decepticons flew in their vehicle modes began to appear in the sky in large numbers.

"Damn… this isn't good." Airachnid said. She supported herself on one knee on the ground. "This forest has a lot of Energon flowing through it, a poorly executed shot could cause a huge explosion."

I looked at Airachnid and then at the army flying towards us, I had to make a quick decision or everything around the forest would be in danger of exploding. So far, I had been lucky that no shots had accidentally hit the Energon reserves hanging from the branches. Everything around me was practically a giant gallon of fuel, one simple mistake and kaboom.

"I have an idea, if Megatron wants this Singular Energon thing, I'll give him what he wants." I smiled, feeling the energy of the Allspark flow through me. "This is not a situation I can take lightly."

"What do you intend to do?" Airachnid asked. She was completely confused as to what Lux was planning.

"I'm going to do something crazy with some theater, but if I do, we're going to be in a lot of trouble from now on." I said, looking into her eyes. "You just have to trust me and I can get us both out of this madness."

Airachnid looked at Lux with a look that was hard to hide, then she gave a subtle smile. "You are the Allspark, I have complete faith in you, so I will do everything in my power to make sure your head is on your neck. I cannot allow the Allspark to be harmed, even if Megatron has his entire armada out for my head. "Airachnid whispered, believing what Lux was about to do. "Then I will open a surplus just for you, I will protect you until I have my Spark destroyed.

"I'm surprised at your change." I complimented her.

"I am not bound to any faction, everything is a matter of choice and this is my choice."Airachnid said, looking at Megatron, who was fighting the wolves fiercely and having a harder time with the Alpha, who was trying to rip the cannon from his forearm. "I seek no redemption, I only serve my interests, and one of them is that the Allspark still exists."

"Then it's a deal." I close my eyes and join my hands together, gathering an amount of energy impossible to ignore, just focusing on creating something simple to my imagination, a simple form, but with enough power to change the course of this.
