Airachnid pressed Lux to the ground, dazed from an unpleasant encounter on her last hunt on a distant planet. She was confused and disoriented, but not helpless, curious about the creature under her control.
"Listen, you may be pretty, but aren't we moving a little too fast?" I quipped, trying to get her to recap her situation.
Airachnid brought her face closer and analyzed every detail of Lux's face, trying to figure out what race he was. "What are you?"
"I'm a human, you landed on planet earth a few minutes ago… could you please stop trying to crush me? It hurts, you know!" I complained, feeling her grip around me tighten.
"A human… now I remember, this is the planet where the Decepticons have been gathering for the past few years." Airachnid smiled, imagining new possibilities and trophies to add to her collection.
"Look, I don't like to interrupt your moment, but your ship is going to explode, I don't know if you or I will be able to survive if that happens." I said, wanting to get out of her grip.
"What did you say… Aaarghhh, my leg!" Airachnid let go of Lux, as her pain receptors were returning to normal, now truly feeling how hurt she was. "That damn Autobot, she hurt me more than I imagined!"
When she let me go, my first instinct was to leave that place, it was already quite obvious that she was hostile, but a part of me wanted to help her, I couldn't just abandon her to her fate with the risk of the place exploding. I know, sometimes I hate myself for being like this.
Airachnid sat on the ground, holding her leg with both hands, feeling like an idiot for underestimating her last enemy, now unable to move properly without having a doctor to repair her injuries. She noticed the human's approach, and roared in anger, in threat, even if he was just an insect compared to her, she had no patience to be underestimated.
I raised my arms to show no threat as I approached calmly. "Don't be afraid, I'm not going to hurt you."
"Am I going to be scared? If I wasn't so hurt, I would have skinned you already!" Airachnid threatened, ready to use her extra limbs to destroy the human.
"I'm the one who healed your stomach, so let me heal your leg and we both leave here in peace, what do you think?" I asked, standing a few steps away from her leg. "You don't have much of a choice, either you die here or at least let me help you."
Airachnid, looking into the human's eyes, felt something strange about him, a different aura, she felt that she should let him help her. An unknown feeling came over her, as if she was strangely safe, as if she was at home.
I walked over and touched her leg, her spidery limbs trembling with tension, almost twitching in threat. She let me touch her, but it was obvious that she was not used to the contact, so I knew she was ready to rip my head off at any suspicious move.
Lux's fingers glowed, causing Airachnid's eyes to widen in surprise, confused by the skill being demonstrated, wondering if it was a normal skill coming from the human race, which as far as she knew was an inferior race that could be crushed and enslaved.
Airachnid remained silent and perplexed as she saw and felt her leg being restored, its mechanical components returning to their original state, freeing her from the pain she felt in that region.
"Is there anything else that hurts?" I asked carefully, not wanting to upset her.
Airachnid's wary eyes flashed, and a small, mischievous smile appeared on her lips. "You can continue, I'm not completely healed."
"I understand." I said calmly, seeing that she was letting her guard down, which made me sigh discreetly in relief that at least I didn't have to worry about a surprise attack.
She showed me a part of her left elbow that had a nasty scar, so she allowed me to come closer, watching me closely with those eyes. I couldn't help but notice that her hands were like sharp blades, as were her spider-like paws; she was practically the definition of a deadly weapon, or rather a black rose with poisonous thorns.
Even though I've never had a romantic relationship or any experience with women, I won't deny that she's beautiful, but then the blame lies entirely with the original Allspark for creating women with remarkable curves. Looking at her more closely, I have to admit that she really is quite beautiful with that gothic mix, especially when she's not threatening to rip my skin off. I wonder how Allspark originally planned to create women like her, I'll do some research on that later, I just hope this gothic spider doesn't decide to play hide and seek.
She and I spent 5 or 10 minutes in this strange, silent game while I repaired the damage to her body. From the damage, it was obvious that she had taken a beating, but now, at first glance, she was almost completely restored.
Airachnid, still sitting, looked at her arms and body, checking every detail. Even though she was a robot, she was still a woman and cared a lot about her appearance. "There is one last detail missing." She raised her head and showed a wound on her neck, a cut to be exact, as if a knife had sliced through her structure.
"I need you to lean over." I said calmly, keeping my composure, I was almost done fixing her body and didn't want to risk a misunderstanding.
She only leaned over a little so I could reach her neck, allowing me to see her wound much more clearly, looking like she was very lucky not to have lost her head to whoever was responsible for her injuries.
I began to make internal repairs in that region, just to be sure, and found that his metal had not actually regenerated completely, only superficially. The living metal of a Transformer is no different from the organic ability to regenerate itself like a organic living being, but there is a limit to how far a Cybertronian can regenerate itself. The loss of an arm or an eye, for example, are components that cannot be regenerated from scratch and can only be restored through implants, as can the organ responsible for the transformation.
In this biological aspect of the Cybertronians, which I must admit I find interesting, it is impressive how the Allspark is able to create and expand life through the metal itself. In the primitive vision of humans, many may believe that a Cybertronian is limited to an advanced robot capable of simulating or imitating organic life. But the real foundation is that what distinguishes Cybertronians from an AI is the Spark, a semi-mystical source of life in itself, which makes them much more than a machine, but living beings in every sense of the word.
I dare say that if Cybertron did not exist in a cycle of wars, sooner or later the Allspark would have originally raised Cybertronian biological capacity to another level, I feel this myself, Primus himself was almost the definitive concept of creation, or a prototype of that concept, bordering on the supreme stage of existence created at the beginning of time to destroy Unicron, who was already a god in his own right, though I suspect his origin was created by another external factor.
"You didn't tell me your name." I said, hoping to break the awkward silence.
"My name is Airachnid, you better never forget that." Airachnid said proudly.
"My name is Lux," I whispered, focusing on finishing repairing her wound.
When I finished repairing her body, she stood up from the ground, showing her size of just over 4 meters. I can imagine that if she used the spider legs on her back, she could reach 5 meters in height.
"I thought humans were an inferior and primitive species, but they are gifted with an incredible ability." Airachnid, Lux observed out of the corner of her eye.
"Well... only I can do that, the human race is only in the first steps of technological advancement, understanding even the basics of Cybertronian biology would be a task that would take decades of study." I said, crossing my arms, satisfied with my work.
Airachnid listened carefully to Lux's words. As an expert in torture, she could decipher lies and intentions like no one else. She smiled discreetly, seeing a rare opportunity that had come her way.
