Chapter 15 - Hide and Seek

Now I'm fucked, what just happened?! One minute I was running calmly, and the next, DAN DAN! Now I'm literally in an alien ship, but how cool, what a load of crap!

[[ALL DECEPTICONS, DESTROY THE INVADER!]] Starscream said, using the base's microphone to alert all soldiers to execute the human.

I couldn't help but tense up when I heard the statement from the possible leader of the ship, now my situation had officially gotten even worse. By reflex, I managed to dodge an Energon shot from a Cybertronian who was firing at me like I was a big target. This sent a rush of adrenaline through my veins, so I pressed the pedal to the metal and accelerated as hard as I could.

I should be thankful that I'm a good driver for these situations, even though it's my first time inside a Cybertronian ship. Fortunately, the aim of these robots wasn't the best, so it was very easy for me to swerve or drive under their legs like a rat in a kitchen. But seriously, how does a robot have such terrible aim? I think Allspark deliberately created myopia in robotic beings.

The most accurate description of what was happening in Starscream's vision as he watched the situation on the cameras through the holographic panel was disbelief, astonishment, and indignation. It was humiliating how a simple human could dodge dozens of deadly laser blasts in his direction, even performing risky maneuvers among the Decepticons that confused their precision.

"HOW CAN THESE INCOMPETENTS NOT JUST CRUSH A HUMAN!" Starscream screamed, almost wanting to fly up to the human and rip his head off himself.

Knock Out, now in his robotic form, watched the Decepticons attempt to kill Lux, but he couldn't help but smile subtly as he watched his human rival humiliate the Decepticons with his abnormal driving skills.

"I can't deny it, the human can drive better than I can." Breakdown admitted that the human's driving skills were superior to his, even though he was thousands of years old. "If he were a Cybertronian, he would definitely be one of the best drivers in the Iacon races."

Starscream turned toward Breakdown with an angry glare, his right eye twitching nervously, his metal claws scratching the surface of the keyboard in front of him as he tried to control himself.

"(Cough, cough, cough) I mean... this human has great skills, but he won't last long." Breakdown scratched the back of his head, trying to hide his comment.

Soundwave simply ignored Starscream, Knock Out, and Breakdown's comments, just watching the chase. His internal systems detected a relatively high level of energy in the human's car, but in a pattern that strangely resembled a familiar energy, making his senses even more alert.

One of the Decepticons fired a guided missile at Lux, who used the power of his own car to overcome the speed of the projectile with some difficulty, using a sharp turn to drift, causing the missile to accidentally hit another allied Decepticon.

I stuck my head out of the window and flipped my middle finger back. "Shoot your mother and see if she likes it, you son of a bitch!" I yelled, getting angry at the seemingly endless number of Cybertronians trying to blow up my car.

I managed another drift maneuver to enter another corridor of this ship, and luckily it was empty, so I finally had enough time to set a new position on my portable Earth portal. After confirming a position towards Japan, I stepped on the accelerator and activated the teleportation system. Rays of various colors covered the paint of my car, releasing a considerable amount of energy. A portal appeared a few meters in front of me, so I accelerated to enter my escape door as quickly as possible.

When I entered the portal, I felt a relief in my chest, as if I had held my breath, even though I didn't really need to breathe. My happiness faded, however, when I realized that I was reappearing in another corridor of the ship, with several robots staring at me in confusion.

"Fuck," I said unconsciously, shifting gears and stepping on the accelerator, driving in reverse while dodging the Energon shots that threatened to blow me up along with my car. "WHAT HAPPENED? WHY WASN'T I SENT TO JAPAN?" I pulled the handbrake and turned my car 180 degrees to reposition the correct direction of my car.

I continued for 5 minutes, dodging and evading the Cybertronians while trying to use my car's portable teleporter, which refused to take me to the other side of the planet.

Lux didn't know it, but the moment he attempted to use the teleportation, his car released a large amount of Energon, an energy signature that Soundwave detected within a second. With Soundwave's precise reflexes, he directly interfered with the synchronization of Lux's portals, teleporting him back and forth within the corridors of Nemesis, creating a cycle of cat and mouse.

The silent Decepticon decided to walk patiently toward one of the corridors, completely ignoring Starscream's orders. He walked calmly, as if nothing unusual was happening, until he finally stopped in an empty corridor, as if waiting for something. The sounds of skidding and gunfire grew louder by the second, until finally a muscle car appeared and entered the corridor where Soundwave was.

Lux and Soundwave exchanged glances in microseconds, as if it were a noon duel in the Wild West. Lux accelerated his car into the last gear, ready to dodge the purple Decepticon. In response, Soundwave simply summoned his robotic tentacles and threw them at the floor of the Nemesis ship, creating an electric surge that ran through the metal without resistance until it reached the tires of Lux's car, causing the car to skid down the giant corridor without the rubber of its tires until it crashed into Soundwave's own feet.

The impact disoriented me, but fortunately I was already in the habit of wearing a seat belt. When I looked up, I saw a faceless robot watching me like a dementor sucking out my soul. I quickly jumped out of the car as soon as I took off my seatbelt and noticed that the robot was still looking at me, but then it seemed to ignore me and turned its attention to my car.

I was confused, but I understood this guy's behavior, he somehow seemed to be aware of my energy, but was unable to sense the Allspark's radiation due to my organic biology. However, if I stay here too long, he'll figure it out, so I started running towards another corridor, hoping I wouldn't be met by another weird robot.

Soundwave glanced discreetly at the human before he disappeared down the hall, feeling a familiar emotion he didn't understand, but he buried it and returned to his investigation. He began to dismantle the car with his robotic tentacles, pulling it out piece by piece as if he were taking apart a toy. He was still surprised that the car was more technological than normal, especially the engine. However, in just 1 minute he was in possession of the small cylinder of pure energy, the same singular energy he was interested in. His data calculated the energy signature at high speed and discovered that he was indeed in possession of a type of Energon he had never seen before, at least not in this purity.

Soundwave saw a door beside him and walked towards it, entering the infirmary wing and revealing the comatose body of the Decepticon leader, Megatron.

Soundwave looked at his leader, the only man in the universe worthy of his undying loyalty, who understood his point of view on how Cybertron had to be saved from corruption, a time he hated to remember as he witnessed how flawed the rulers were. Without ceremony or speech, he inserted the small, insignificant cylinder into Megatron's weakened spark. A few seconds passed, leading even Soundwave himself to believe that he had jumped the gun on his theory because of the slight resemblance of the singular energy, or Singular Energon, to Dark Energon.

The large hole in Megatron's chest began to glow brightly, sending blue and yellow rays through his entire body. A war cry erupted from Megatron's mouth, allowing all crew members to hear his imposing and shrill roar, causing Soundwave to take two steps back.

Starscream's wings, always held high with pride, now collapsed cowardly, his red eyes reflecting pure terror, his legs trembling with fear. For he knew, as fucked up as he was, that it would be a miracle from the Allspark itself if he survived the wrath of Megatron that was about to be unleashed upon him.

Soundwave looked at the panel showing the amount of Energon flowing through Megatron, the percentage rising rapidly like a rocket being launched into space.

[1000%]

The lightning that covered Megatron's body began to spread throughout the infirmary and then to the warship's own power distribution system, causing the lights to go out for a moment. All of the Decepticons hunting the intruder decided to ignore their mission at the sight of the imposing scream, as if they all instinctively knew who was responsible for such an act.

The Decepticons closest to the infirmary ran as fast as they could, all raising their heads as they saw a large robot, over ten meters tall, standing on its own legs.

Megatron's red eyes opened, finally awakening from his silent, deathly slumber. "DECEPTICONS, YOUR TRUE MASTER HAS RETURNED!"
