Third person's POV
The crisp morning air bit at Aiden's skin as the warrior marched him and Derek through the fortress gates.
The punishment ground stretched before them, a barren patch of earth surrounded by towering pines that seemed to loom ominously in the early light. It was close to the large hall used as the training center for the pack members.
Ethan stood at the center of the punishment ground. Several other warriors stood at both of his sides, their eyes hard and unforgiving. Aiden's heart raced, while Derek's cocky demeanor began to falter as they saw the scary warriors.
"Our pack's warriors aren't that scary or is it because I was used to them and not those?" Derek wondered inwardly, but was trying hard to not let his fear show.
"These two were causing trouble in the holding cell." Their escort reported to the warriors' leader, shoving them forward.
Ethan's piercing gaze swept over them.
