Third person's POV
"How dare..." Aiden was thinking and gritting his teeth as he walked towards the gathered crowd.
The crowd made way for Liam and Aiden followed the Beta with his heart pounding with anticipation to see the spy. Liam hadn't been able to tell him who exactly it was as they got interrupted at that moment, when the Beta was being summoned.
The gathering had formed a perfect circle in the clearing, where pack announcements of great importance were traditionally held.
At its center, a figure knelt with head bowed low and their shoulders trembling.
When Aiden finally caught sight of the spy's face, a gasp escaped his lips before he could stop it.
"That quiet, easy going lady?" The words left his throat in a whisper of disbelief.
