Third person's POV
"What is that?" Aiden wondered aloud and out of worry, he stepped out of the kitchen and walked around the dinning area.
"The noise was definitely from that direction." I hope she is okay." He mumbled to himself as he faced a direction where Chloe had walked to, earlier.
And indeed, the noise was from Chloe's bedroom.
She was checking the large, low window in the room for something and mistakenly touched the big earthen flower pot placed there for decorations. It fell and made a loud thud as it shattered into pieces.
"Uh!" Chloe grunted as the pot made a mess in her room. Then, she heard a knock on the door.
"Who is it?" She called out, grateful that she wouldn't have to raise her voice to call on the servants to clean the mess.
"It is Thomas, Alpha. May I come in?" The elderly man's voice rang from outside.
"Yes." She replied and Thomas opened the door slowly.
