Rimuru pov
"What do you mean Tempest will be destroyed?" I asked Ramiris, who was flying around the room. I caught her and looked her in the eyes.
"Guy has called for a Demon Lord meeting on behalf of Clayman. I'm sure Clayman wants to kill you." Her words didn't change my expression at all.
It all makes sense now: the Orc army, the attack on Tempest, Milim's strange behavior, the destruction of the capital of the Beastman nation, and now this meeting. It seems Clayman was behind all of this.
"But why do you say only Clayman wants to kill me?" I asked. "You said Guy called for the meeting."
"Because if Guy wanted you dead, you wouldn't be alive right now. Ha haha!" She laughed, not realizing the murderous aura from all my subordinates.
"My, my. He can kill Great Rimuru? In this dream, I will—" Shion began but was stopped by Diablo.
"Fool, you don't even know where you stand. It would take me some effort, but I could annoy him to death," Diablo said, releasing an evil aura that, for some reason, made me feel cold.
"Hey, Raphael, are you sure I was the one who summoned him?"
[Notice: Yes, you are the one who summoned him.]
"A weakling like you could only do that," Shion said, causing Diablo's facial muscles to twitch.
"Haha, girl, you should know your limits. That man has strength equal to my oldest sister, if not more." We looked at Veldora, who was laughing and taking it lightly. If it's true, then I might be in danger.
"In that case, I, Shion, Diablo, and, if it's not a problem for you, would you like to come, Veldora-sama?" Benimaru asked, to which Veldora easily agreed.
"No, you can't. You can only bring two subordinates," Ramiris said, returning to the conversation.
"And why is that?" I asked, and she started to explain the history behind it.
"So, in order to prevent such foolish actions, they decided to limit the number of participants," she finished.
At that moment, we suddenly felt a rift open in space.
In front of us, a gate appeared.
From within, a beautiful woman wearing a black maid outfit came out and bowed.
"I have come to guide you, Ramiris-sama, and to bring with me the new Demon Lord. If you will, please follow me," she said while keeping the gate open.
Though she made herself seem unimportant, she was the embodiment of power itself. She was dangerous, and moreover, this maid felt as overwhelming as Diablo, who might be my strongest subordinate.
We followed her. If we stayed behind, there was the fear of not being able to explain my point of view to the other Demon Lords.
She is Guy's subordinate, and it seems like Guy is one of the strongest Demon Lords, as per Veldora and Ramiris, but, if possible, I would rather not make him my enemy.
Well, that depends on the situation, though.
Steeling myself, I proceeded into the gate.

In a land covered by ice where fierce blizzards reigned, proudly stood a tall castle. Its surroundings were enveloped in a barrier of ice, with temperatures of minus 100° Celsius, making it impossible for anything to live there.
And yet, a beautiful castle adorned the land.
Its presence testified to an unimaginable amount of magical energy surrounding it—a castle fit for the highest demon.
The castle was named the "Palace of White Ice."
It was ruled by Demon Lord Guy Crimson.
A human—or more specifically, a half-human—stood waiting outside the giant doors.
Platinum gold hair, blue narrow eyes, and a well-defined face. He was so beautiful that he was often mistaken for a woman.
Demon Lord Leon Cromwell, the one once called the Platinum Saber.
He proceeded through the halls as if he owned them.
Leon's purpose in attending was to meet the lord of this castle, Demon Lord Guy Crimson.
Leon stood in front of the door, and the two large attendant demons opened it.
"Demon Lord Leon Cromwell-sama has arrived," they announced, and the Demon Lord Guy stood up.
Only the two Demon Lords had the right to move within the room.
"It's been a while, my friend Leon. Let me thank you for coming when I called," a beautiful yet deep voice said. Deep crimson eyes overshadowed by devilish beauty, hair flowing like fire, a deeper red than blood.
He was the same height as Leon. He stood up from the throne and walked toward Leon.
When he came close, without any hesitation, he placed his hand on Leon's face and tried to kiss him.
Leon pulled away with a scowl.
"Stop it. I'm not interested in dating men. How many times have I told you this already?" he told him.
"Haha. Heartless as always. You know, if you ask, I'll become a woman." Without giving Leon any time to respond or curse, Guy moved on.
"Ah, whatever. Let's move to a different room," he said, and without waiting, started walking.
"So you mean that boy asked you to hold a Demon Lord meeting?"
[Yes, isn't it exciting? It's been ages since I felt like this.]
Leon looked at him with disapproving eyes. "I wanted to kill him before he grows too strong. You also know that his growth is unnatural."
"But if you do that, I will need to punish you for killing my entertainment," Guy said with a huge smile, causing Leon to close his eyes.
"It's not like I can kill him now," Leon said, to which Guy's smile widened.
"Oh, you might have a fair chance. Maybe 10%, I guess."
