The small ship, approximately fifty meters in length and twenty meters in width, approached one of the islands that floated near the magical barrier. Ivan could see numerous figures—a mix of Leon and Avion races—standing on the fortress wall made of smooth white stone glowing with green runes.
As the guards spotted the ship, one of them raised their hand, and a green spell materialized, swirling around his hand to create a spark of blue fire, which he shot into the sky. Within moments, it exploded into a beautiful blue firework that left Ivan in awe.
In a split second, a small section of the magical barrier opened up, allowing the ship to pass through. Once inside, Ivan's curiosity got the best of her, and she asked the guide, "If you don't mind me asking, what are those runes on the walls used for?"
