Chapter 7 - The Revised Prologue (7)

Everything around me suddenly became stiff as their movement speed greatly reduced before my very eyes. Now, I could defeat these three statues before me in a matter of minutes.

However, with great power comes great risk. When I first discovered this hidden skill, it affected my lungs and heart in real life to the point where the system identified it as a life-threatening skill and forced me to log out immediately when the skill reached its duration of usage, which was only one minute.

But with time acceleration alone, it wouldn't be enough for me to destroy their eyes with a perfect slash. Therefore, I used another skill to enhance my sword's precision.

[Private System: You have activated the exclusive skill "Jack of all trades"

Archetype magician: Enchanting spell (Precision) / D tiers]

My blade suddenly emitted a red glow, and confidence surged through my veins, despite losing one arm. Not to mention, this was the only enchantment skill in the game based on the weapon you used. It would boost my precision and increase my critical hit percentage.

[It is useless, kid. You are stuck here in despair. What can a one-armed human do?] The demon lord chuckled as he saw that I had made my choice to confront the statues.

As expected from the demon lord, even his voice carried a weight that could make people tremble in fear. But I trained my mind to be strong, thanks to my martial arts teacher, Geralt. I wonder what is he doing right now?

I faintly smiled and responded in a confident tone, "No, you are stuck here with me." From the beginning, I should have activated this hidden skill against the statues, but now it wasn't too late to make things right.

I was known as one of the Golden Trio, among the youngest rankers who vanquished the dimensional creatures when the first invasion began.

Thought my identity was hidden as well as the two other members of the Golden Trio which of course were my friends.

This game was my life, the way to earn money for me to pursue my dream job as a judge in the future, and my only source of income that sustained my life.

I had spent so many years coming up with different solutions to defeat enemies stronger than me, and this demon lord was no exception.

Since I had spent most of my life studying the magic and chemistry elements in the world of Dawn, I was well-versed in elixirs and potions.

I knew great ingredients and elements to mix them, giving me hidden skills. Time acceleration was just one of them.

The breakthrough discovery for me was that the physics in the world of Dawn were very different from those on Earth.

They weren't created from programming code but rather a new element of their own that didn't exist in reality.

Whoever created this game was truly a genius of their time, and sometimes I couldn't help but wonder if they truly wanted to implement the magic system and elements into reality onto Tellus. Perhaps it was possible.

Isolating my mind from thoughts of magic, I raised my head high to look at the three statues before me. Their eyes slowly grew redder as time seemed to slow down from my perspective.

In addition, I also activated another exclusive skill known as the Brightness of speed, this allowed my body to blind with white lightning and greatly increase my speed in lightning speed for a few seconds.

With lightning speed, leaving sparkling lightning in my trail. I dashed forward, the sound echoing throughout the chamber a second later.

I leaped onto one of the statues, reaching the height of its crimson eyes.

With incredible speed, I thrust my sword towards one of its eyes, then flipped in the air to gain momentum and struck another eye.

In just a few seconds, one of the statues crumbled before me.

Using the crumbled shards of stone that still hovered in the air as a stepping stone, I launched myself towards another statue on my left side.

Swirling my sword through the red crystal eyes, I fast-forwarded time, causing the second statue to disassemble into pieces.

Slowing down my perception of time again, I used the broken stone as another stepping stone to propel myself towards the last and third statue that was chasing after me on my right side.

Hovering in front of the last statue, I tightly clutched the hilt of my sword and struck it in one of its eyes.

Stepping on its forehead, I pulled the sword back from the shattered eye and jumped from its forehead, performing a backflip to strike the last eye. The statue broke down into pieces.

[Private system: "Time Accel" and "Brightness Of Speed" have been deactivated.]

Suddenly, the surrounding world began to move again as time flowed naturally. I landed on the ground with all three statues crumbling into rubbish around me instantly.

"Blondie kid, even without one arm, you are something else," the cowboy man said loudly from one corner of the chamber, having also destroyed the two other statues, evident from the scattered remains around him.

After hearing his speech, I wanted to smile at him and told him to shut up, but immediately I felt an immense pain coming from my heart.

It became harder to breathe, and my legs became paralyzed and rigid, causing me to fall to my knees. I tried with all my might to get up, but I stumbled again, feeling an immense pain thrust through my brain.

Perhaps my real-life body was also experiencing the negative effects of time acceleration and the brightness of speed skills.

In the end, I hadn't reached high rankers yet, and attempting to utilize an S-tier skill was like asking for death, as my real-life body wouldn't be able to handle it since now I could feel real pain.

I also felt a liquid coming from my nose, perhaps a nosebleed in my real-life body, but I couldn't see myself having a nosebleed at the moment.

Then, I heard the sound of two more statues crumbling into piles of rubbish, and I heard footsteps approaching me.

When I looked up, I saw a figure of a beautiful lady standing before me, with a mole on her left cheek, a mark of beauty. Yep, this was none other than Lasiv herself.

In her palm, she summoned blue particles that formed into a small potion, perfectly carved with the figure of a dragon wrapping around it from tail to head.

This was a mystical S-tier healing elixir, worth five months' expenses for me to acquire. I even owed her one, but due to my current condition, I couldn't summon it, as my strength was leaving me.

Lasiv knelt with her right leg and raised my chin as she poured the elixir into my mouth.

As I swallowed it, my blood vessels glowed in a blue light. I could feel all the bruises on my face and body healing, and my strength began to return.

However, my lost arm didn't grow back, as the potion only healed injuries and couldn't regrow lost limbs or arms.

After regaining my strength, I stood up and brushed the dirt off my white shirt. My battle armor had shattered, leaving me exposed and vulnerable.

At that moment, I noticed two more rankers being brutally killed. Their heads and bodies were sliced into pieces by a blade made from red organisms, a living weapon that could take any shape.

Only three rankers remained excluded me, Lasiv, and the cowboy man.

They were defending themselves against the red organisms that weaved and moved like vines and snakes.

Despair filled their faces as they slashed and summoned fireballs to destroy the approaching red organisms.

Suddenly, the red organisms found it way around the back of one ranker, formed a sharp blade, and pierced his back, disassembling his body into blue particles.

Only two rankers remained before the demon lord: the woman with the Spartan shield and another woman with green hair wielding a staff.

The woman with the Spartan shield briefly turned to look at us and shouted, "So you guys destroyed all the statues!"

The woman with the staff spoke with regret, "We should have listened to that young girl. We made a mistake that cost so many lives."

Including Lasiv, myself, the cowboy man, and these two female rankers, only five of us remained. Just as all hope seemed lost, a holographic display appeared, followed by a female AI voice.

[System: You have defeated the ten commanders of the Crimson Orc Lord. The barrier of the demon lord will be reduced.]

Suddenly, the red organisms that spread before him like an interconnected vine began to turn into ash and fade into thin air.

The orc lord finally stood up, his big belly on display. The only armor he wore was on his shoulders and chest, while he donned a black robe.

His entire green body was engulfed in red organisms, resembling alien veins. His crimson red eyes, with a center of black pupils, looked at the remaining rankers with fury as he spoke, [To think that you would be able to defeat the ten commanders. I must admit your competence. I will not go easy on you anymore, you think I follow the system? Even the ten commanders is down, my narrative energy is only increasing.]

There were many terms that I never heard of from him such as narrative energy....

His voice carried the weight of an otherworldly being, as a dense gravity seemed to descend upon the room, causing everyone to flinch slightly, except for Lasiv, who observed the orc lord intently.

"I-Isn't this cheating? even after we defeated the ten statues, he doesn't seems to be weakened." I said in a stuttered voice.

"Obviously, it seems like he has no weakness at all. He has breaking out the system of your world." Said, Lasiv.

"The system of my world?" I questioned.

Lasiv replied "Your world exists in the third-dimensional plane, while the world of dawn resides in the fourth dimension. Someone who can traverse the fourth dimension assists the demon lord in hacking the system of your world."

"What are you talking about?" I asked with a wrinkled on my forehead.

Suddenly, even before I got the answer from her, the chamber was violently quavering as I tried to maintain my balance. And once I looked before me, the giant, fat figure of the demon lord suddenly leaped from his throne towards the center of the chamber, his towering height of approximately 20 meters now standing before me, as if he was solely interested in me at this moment.

He pointed his finger at my forehead, and a small orb of red energy began to gather between his pointed finger and my head [Once I kill you, the archon will lift the divine judgement from my realm. Einsamer Stern, the primordial fool. We are going to repeat this battle for eternity until I able to kill you.]

What?

How does he knows my name?

My mortal brain couldn't comprehend what the hell was he talking about.

Lasiv had a concerned expression on her face and I heard her said "Just like my first speculation, someone has completely override the timeline in the fourth dimension...."

At the same time, Lasiv shouted for me to evade it. Instinctively, I tilted my head to the right, and a split second later, the red orb projected into a powerful red beam that shattered the ground behind me upon impact.

I had a shocked and tense expression as I realized the difference between our power, my ears were deafened, and my vision became blurry and disorienting.

The demon lord then kicked me in the stomach, sending me flying for many meters and rolling uncontrollably as I coughed up blue blood that dissembled into blue particles, faded away into nothing in the next instant.

It felt as if my internal organs were being crushed and damaged. I hoped that my real-life body was fine, but the pain here was so real.

I also had a sense that if I were to die here, I would die in real life as well...

When I tried to look up and see what was going on, I realized that the distance between me and the conflict was now many meters away.

I saw the demon lord punch the cowboy man, sending him flying towards the wall and causing a big crack, immediately knocking him out.

Then, the woman with the shield charged against him, her shield burning brightly with flames.

However, the red organisms surrounding the demon lord shaped into a dome of shield, deflecting her attack and sending her crashing into the wall, coughing up blood.

The woman with the staff summoned multiple flaming balls to launch against the demon lord, but none of her attacks seemed to inflict any damage.

Then, the red organisms shaped into a blade and pierced through her stomach, immediately slicing off her head and disassembling her entire being into blue particles, which the demon lord consumed.

The woman with a shield shouted angrily with tearful eyes "Nooo, Einju.....my friend!"

Immediately the demon lord turned to look at the woman with a shield and summoned a blade out of red organisms. In the blink of an eye, he appeared before the unfortunate woman lying down with fear in her eyes, waiting for her death.

But as the demon lord slashed his sword towards her, the figure of the woman suddenly vanished.

From his perspective, she might have vanished, but from my perspective, I saw Lasiv manage to sneak her away and save her just in time.

She carried the woman with the shield and sprinted as far away as possible from the demon lord, then gently put her down on the ground to rest.

At that moment, Lasiv was the only one left standing, alone, to face the demon lord. I could feel an otherworldly aura from both of them, just who was she and this demon lord?
