Ivan, Danil, Katarina, and the remaining members of the Double-Headed Eagle guild scarcely rested. Three hours after meeting with the Blue Rose Resistance representatives, they found themselves engrossed in managing the island's resources, workforce, residents, and refugees. Additionally, they had to preside over a family council comprising two of Ivan's aunts who had survived the collision of the two mini islands, along with members of her deceased husband's family.
At 7:30 PM on the fifth day, just two days before the actual harvest season commenced, Ivan summoned her son into her office. As Danil stood resolutely before her desk, she calmly uttered, "I am going to resign as the leader."
With a visibly shaken expression, Danil responded, "Our guild and family still rely on your guidance!" He continued with a frown, "Who will take over as the next leader? In this emergency, only you are capable of leading us, mother."
