As usual, Ivan woke up early in the morning in her pajamas and checked the digital LCD alarm clock, which read 3 am. Before taking a shower, she went to her desk and opened her laptop to check an email, where she found a notification with an attachment file.
The email was sent by Batsheva. Ivan put on her blue light-resistant glasses, clicked on the file, and read it. However, she didn't feel right reading it on the screen, so she decided to print it using the laptop's built-in printer. She grabbed the papers and lay back on her bed lazily to read through them.
In the document, Batsheva requested one hundred more prisoners to be used as experiment subjects, ten more psychic individuals, complete control over the lab and IT department, and an unlimited budget. Batsheva promised to decipher the prototype of the Divine Chronicle key within one month and apply it to expand Ivan's consciousness.
