This device could create portals to other dimensions, but it couldn't open portals through the fourth dimension, which was time. This was to be expected, as even Regressors had to jump from timeline to timeline. If this portal could travel through time, none of the tragic scenarios we were facing would exist.
Therefore, we decided to leave the portals alone for now. Hyun Hee planned to search for the divine device that enabled their existence once we arrived at our next shelter. Time was of the essence, as we needed to move quickly before the greedy guilds and Egoistic rankers caught up to us since most rankers here couldn't defend themselves yet.
