Leo's house was blaring with very loud music around ten at night. Butler Lee was keeping vigil over his master's wife and kept reporting back and forth.
It seemed like his master was very angry with his wife, but a single report rekindled his anger: "She is happy." Butler Lee had reported to him.
When someone heard that report, his voice softened, and his temper became gentle all of a sudden.
Jessica took out two bottles of wine from her bag. Abi looked at them and smiled widely. They were the wines she and Jessica had added to their wishlist ever since they were teenagers. It was freaking expensive, but Jessica showed up with two of them. She flashed a black card, and an evil grin surfaced on her face.
"Is that Junho's card?" Abi asked quickly.
"Yeah, I stole it. It's only a matter of time before he realizes that the card is missing," Jessica laughed.
"That sounds like fun," Matilda smiled and began to blush.
Riley, who had been noticing the littlest things about her ever since she entered the house, raised her brow in suspicion.
"Why are you all looking at me like that?" Matilda interrogated.
"Tell us. Where did Cedric kiss you?" Abi asked with total interest.
"What?" Matilda shouted.
"Tell us already, Indian girl," Riley laughed.
"Who told you that he kissed me? Did you see us kiss?" Matilda asked immediately.
Abi was now getting impatient from hearing Matilda out. She wanted to know when it happened.
"He kissed me on my way here," Matilda finally let the cat out of the bag.
Abi watched her blush and was happy for her.
"That's the way it's supposed to be. The man should be able to make the woman's heart flutter," she thought of her husband, and her heart fluttered immediately. She found herself smiling as she touched the necklace around her neck. It was their wedding ring on a simple chain around her delicate neck.
When she realized that she was really falling for her husband, like Matilda had claimed in France, she removed her hand from the ring and muttered, "You can't blush, stupid!"
"Why can't she blush, Abigail?" Jessica burst into laughter.
"Don't worry. We'll find you a man that would cherish you too if your husband doesn't love you wholeheartedly till you deliver the baby," Riley added.
"That's not what—"
"It's fine. I understand your pain, Abi. I'd also like a man to make me blush if I were in your shoes," Matilda concluded.
"Girls!!" Abi covered her face with her palms.
"What? Are you blushing too?" Riley tried to remove her hands while the girls surrounded her with interest.
"I said it. You're actually blushing," Riley laughed.
"Are you really falling for that asshole?" Jessica hissed.
"She is," Matilda answered.
Alice walked out of the kitchen with five paper cups filled with popcorn in a bowl on a big tray. She laughed as she approached the other girls. She could tell the situation they were in.
"Leave her alone, girls. She can blush because Leo is her husband. He's obviously a good-looking man," Alice spoke on Abi's behalf.
"I wasn't blushing, Alice," Abi defended herself.
"We know," Alice replied and chuckled.
Abi was annoyed that the girls were really teasing her because she was blushing at the mere thought of her good-looking husband.
"I'm going up to sleep," Abi declared and tried to get up, but the girls pulled her back.
"We have to watch Tarcot together, Abigail," Alice said seriously and distributed the popcorn.
"Ahh! My boobs hurt," Jessica cried and took off her bra immediately.
"Girls, you all take off the breast trapper?" Jessica looked at the girls who didn't follow her to remove their bras.
"Breast trapper?" Matilda laughed out loud.
"We have taken it off since. We're at night, remember?" Riley reminded her.
"How come I didn't notice?" Jessica asked.
"Most of us here have full breasts," Abi responded on their behalf.
Matilda burst out laughing again.
"I won't be happy if I had missed this outing," she laughed.
"Are you making fun of me for being half-breasted, like Abi had claimed?" Jessica cried.
"Half-breasted?" Alice was found rolling on the floor like Matilda too.
"That's alright," Riley announced decorum in the room and popped the champagne. She began to fill the glasses one after the other.
"You can only have a small sip of this alcohol because you're pregnant, Abigail," Riley announced.
"Yeah, we're also thankful that your husband is not home to scold us for engaging in this," Matilda added.
"I'm blessed to have friends like you girls. I thought I was the only one who found that guy intimidating. I respect you so much for keeping up with his attitude till now," Alice looked at Abi and burst into a loud cackle of laughter.
Abi sighed because she knew Matilda would join Alice very soon. She was indeed right because the two girls collided together as a result of their uncontrollable laughter.
"Let's play a game now," Jessica recovered from Abi's insult quickly and hit her spoon on her glass cup.
"What game?" Abi asked with interest.
"Don't talk to me, Abigail. I'm still angry with you," Jessica replied.
"I'm sorry, Jessica," Abi apologized and laughed when she remembered what she had said.
"Take back your words, then," Jessica pouted.
"Okay. You're not half-breasted, like you had claimed," Abi spat.
"I didn't claim it. You called me that," Jessica argued.
"No, I didn't. I said you weren't full-breasted," Abi retorted.
"Really?" Jessica scoffed.
"I didn't call you that," Abi uttered.
"Yes, you did," Jessica hissed.
"Okay, girls. We're starting alphabetically, like the game is. You tell us the name of a song that begins with the letters with the artists. If someone repeats what you've said, you know you're out!" Riley declared.
"The game seems simple," Matilda smiled.
"I go first," Alice sipped her wine and threw popcorn into her mouth. She munched on it loudly and clasped her fingers together.
The craziness was heard one after the other.
"Are you going to battle?" Riley asked and kicked the dog away.
"Girls, protect your popcorns. We have a thief—no, thieves—among us," Riley saw three little puppies running toward them.
"Sit, Rome," Alice pointed her finger at her dog.
Abi took her brown pup in her arms and stroked it carefully. Matilda ignored her pup because it had been disobedient and a big glutton lately.
"Don't feed the pup," Matilda glared at the pup when it looked at her with guilt.
"I go second," Jessica announced.
"I go third," Abi added.
"I go fourth," Matilda responded.
"I go fifth," Riley smiled.
Abi took the remote of the speaker and reduced the volume so low that they couldn't hear the song playing unless they listened more attentively.
"A. All the Money by Gunna," Alice began with a smile.
"Angel by Halle," Jessica continued quickly and looked at Abi.
"Anxiety by Coi Lerey," Abi said.
Their gaze shifted to Matilda, who replied, "All Girls Are the Same by Juice Wrld."
"Anaconda by Nicki Minaj," Riley shouted after thinking since the beginning of the game.
"I knew that was what you were going to say," Abi laughed.
"Duhh!" Riley stuck out her tongue at her.
"B. Better by Khalid," Alice clapped her hands happily.
"Bodak Yellow by Cardi B," Jessica retorted.
"Baby Birkin by Gunna," Abi announced.
"Never lose me by Saweetie," Matilda covered her face with both palms in embarrassment.
"Pause," Jessica yelled.
"Bad Energy by Juice Wrld," Alice began again.
Matilda was speechless, so she watched them play the game.
"Boy's a Liar by Pinkpantheress," Jessica replied.
"Boss Bitch by Doja Cat," Abi shrieked out immediately.
"Broom Broom Broom by—"
"Out!!" Alice roared with laughter as Riley wanted to speak.
"Broom Broom what?" Abi laughed and caressed her tummy.
"No, it's Vroom Vroom Vroom," Alice corrected her and began to roll on the floor.
Matilda didn't know what was happening, but looking at Alice made her laugh too.
"Girls, we know that she wanted to say Boom Boom Room by Roddy Ricch," Jessica intervened while trying so hard to suppress her laughter.
"Oh, Broom Broom Broom," Matilda finally understood what happened.
"We're out, anyway," Riley looked at Matilda and pouted.
She began to stroke Matilda's white pup slowly with a smirk on her face.
Matilda's pup managed to steal Riley's popcorn and ran away with the two other puppies.
"Let them be, girls," Alice laughed as they watched them.
Matilda locked gaze with her pup and hissed when it barked at her.

"Good morning, Father," Ophelia greeted Adrian with total cheerfulness.
"Good morning," Adrian replied to her greeting with the same feelings.
"Are you here to see my wife? She stepped out a while ago to see her friends," Adrian announced.
"No, sir. I'm here to meet Ronny," she answered.
"Oh. He should be in his room. You can go and meet him there," Adrian answered.
Ophelia rushed to him with the shopping bags in her hand.
"These are for you," Ophelia gave him the two small nylon bags.
"What is this?" Adrian asked with interest.
He wore his glasses immediately and took a small peek into the bags.
"I thought about your health as I was coming here, Father. I realized that you haven't been in your best health lately and decided to get you some drugs and supplements. They work just fine, Father," Ophelia said.
"Okay," Adrian smiled and raised his hand.
A maid walked up to him and took the bag in his hand to be kept away.
"Do you know Ronny's room, or should a maid—"
"Oh no, Father!" Ophelia declined immediately.
"I've been to his room on several occasions. I mean—I still remember the way to his room—so I'd better hurry now," Ophelia said.
Adrian nodded and watched her leave quickly.
He resumed what he was doing before engaging himself with small talk.
---
Meanwhile, Ophelia looked around the passage and knocked on Ronny's door.
The door was opened immediately by a flustered-looking Ronny.
"Hey," Ophelia waved at him after being pulled into the room suddenly.
Ronny locked his door and looked at her in amazement.
"What are you doing here? Do you want my mother to kill you so soon?" Ronny asked.
"You know she can't kill me when I have you here?" Ophelia smiled.
She went ahead to sit on his bed.
"What do you want, Ophelia? I know that you fuck Santiago," Ronny blurted.
Ophelia crossed her legs over each other and looked at him with a hint of surprise.
"Are you jealous?" Ophelia questioned.
"Of course not. I'm not just happy that I have to share you with another man," Ronny answered.
"It's only for a short time, my love. You don't know the great plan that I have envisioned for both of us," Ophelia clasped her hands together.
"What is it?" Ronny asked quickly.
Ophelia's hands searched for the phone vibrating on the bed.
She took it and her eyes narrowed when she saw the TikTok video Abi and Jessica had made.
"It's not what you think, babe," Ronny started to explain.
"I love you," Ronny added.
"Did I ask?" Ophelia fired at him.
Her eyes narrowed when she saw the total likes, comments, shares, and reposts the video had.
She flung Ronny's phone away and began to search for Abi's name on her phone.
She discovered Abi doesn't really make videos unless it's for food content.
The video Abi and Jessica made already had 4 million views with 3.3 million likes.
Ophelia was going crazy by just reading the good comments people were saying about Abi and Jessica.
She began to type furiously under Jessica's post.
"You look ugly, bitch!" she typed.
"I hope Leo leaves you!!" she typed.
"You're so cheap if you think you're beautiful with your bad shape," she typed.
She saved the video to her files.
"What do you think of that bitch, Ronny?" Ophelia asked.
"What bitch?" Ronny was confused.
"Abigail Marshall, idiot!" Ophelia hissed.
"What do you think of her?!!" Ophelia yelled.
"I think she's beautiful and really sexy. Pregnancy looks great on her," Ronny complimented.
Ophelia was boiling with anger.
"Babe!!" Ronny shouted.
Ophelia pushed him away.
She opened the door and looked back to send Ronny an angry glare.
"Yo!!" Ronny shouted.
Ophelia slammed the door.
She began to walk away in anger.

Abi woke up with a splitting headache. She was surprised to find herself in her room after a long night. She was also surprised to see herself in her pajamas.
"Why did Jessica change me?" she thought, and dragged herself from the bed. She turned red immediately as she remembered what she had dreamt of. She had dreamt of her husband making love to her in his room, and she had enjoyed every bit of the feeling.
"No, Abi, you don't want it because it's really painful," Abi muttered, brushing the dirty thought away.
She looked at the time on her phone and dashed into the bathroom like Sonic. It was a few minutes to four in the evening, meaning she had slept all day due to exhaustion. She must have really exhausted herself last night.
She spent a few minutes in the bathroom and dashed out with her wet hair. She grabbed her camera, light stand, notepad, mini towel, and wore a beautiful white dress that accentuated her lovely shape.
She was working with Dominic for a short period to earn more money to clear her loan. Dominic had sent her feedback about his failure to replicate her recipe using turkey, as she had done earlier. He had asked her to redo it as a commercial because his senior staff loved her recipe after tasting the finished product.
She almost slipped on the stairs but didn't care, as she was already two hours late submitting the work. "Oh, Dominic's going to kill me," Abi cried.
She quickly dropped everything in her hands on the kitchen slab and ran back to her room to apply some light makeup. She had suddenly remembered that she had to reveal her face and knew she couldn't show up bare-faced, especially for a food content.
She put on the little diamond wristwatch her husband had given her and wore her wedding ring on her slender finger. She had to look very pretty, even though it was just for the food content.
She drew a sharp line with her eyeliner and brushed her thick lashes. She brushed her hair tenderly and smiled, adding some powder, foundation, blush, and gloss. She neatly tended to her nails.
She had to look super neat because it was food!
She ran back to the kitchen and set up her camera and phone. She began writing in her notepad, stopping after a few minutes to wash the vegetables slowly and carefully to rid them of any dirt.
She paused as soon as her nose caught a familiar cologne. "He's back," she thought, and a small blush crept onto her cheeks.
