Chapter 7 - Chapter 7

To win Attarah's heart, Melrose suggested Raicko hide his identity. Attarah only saw Raicko as a younger brother. If she were to realize that her younger brother was no longer a fool but a capable person, would Attarah, who had a pure heart and few worldly desires, still protect him as she used to? She would make him leave and then once again pursue her true love. It was a situation that Raicko did not want.

Melrose suggested creating the mysterious persona of a boss who would give some money to the Cade family as a precautionary measure to pave the way for revealing his identity in the future. However, Attarah had given everything to protect Raicko, and he had impulsively revealed his identity. Fortunately, she did not believe him. Raicko felt rejected. Just as Raicko was feeling down, Dylan made that comment to Attarah. Enraged, Raicko landed a hefty kick to Dylan's groin.

Dylan let out a groan of pain. He then held his groin and lay on the floor, writhing in pain. Everyone was surprised to see him. No one saw Raicko throw some pieces of paper next to Dylan.

"Idiot, how dare you hit Dylan?" Mrs. Cade immediately roared. She was the first to recover from the shock.

Although the appearance of a mysterious boss resolved the financial crisis, the Cade family was facing, she still lacked the courage to offend Dylan Dawson. Dylan's family was an authoritative presence in Nebula. One must show a certain level of respect to the powerful, regardless of their wealth.

"Keira, who was a nurse, saw a liquid coming out of Dylan's pants and screamed in shock, "Oh! He's going to be a eunuch!"

Raicko had turned Dylan into a eunuch with a kick. Raicko had to assume criminal responsibility for the serious injury he had caused.

Attarah almost fainted from fear, but Raicko chuckled and said, "I'm a fool. I'm not afraid." He was mentally challenged. Even if they had killed someone, common law wouldn't apply to them.

Attarah heard Raicko and knew he was right. He was mentally challenged. Even if he killed someone, he wouldn't require punishment, considering that he had only hurt Dylan. Attarah had an epiphany.

Raicko took the stack of papers and handed them to her, saying, "Sissy, read me his story."

"Silly boy. This is not a fairy tale book," Attarah looked at the stack of papers indifferently and quickly. Just as she was about to set it aside, her face turned grim. It wasn't a fairy tale book but a pathology report.

The previous month, Dylan's pathology report was issued. It stated, final stage of HIV.

In the final stage of HIV, a patient faced an almost certain death. The most terrifying aspect was that there was a nearly ninety-nine percent chance of transmission from the patient to their sexual partner. When investigating Dylan Dawson, Melrose got a copy of the report.

"He wants to ruin Attarah Cade! Dylan Dawson, you're going to die!" Raicko thought. But he wouldn't let Dylan die so easily.

"What? He's in the final stage of HIV?" Abigail grabbed the pathology report and read it carefully. Suddenly, she rushed anxiously to the bathroom. She remembered she might have touched Dylan's hand when proposing a toast earlier. Although skin contact makes HIV transmission nearly impossible, who wouldn't feel fear?

Mrs. Cade was also terrified. She said, "Hurry, dispose of all the utensils and the chair he used. Mason, call an ambulance."

The Cade family finally settled down at ten-thirty. The mysterious boss, who was pursuing Lyla, had given them forty million dollars, which resolved their financial crisis. But the idiot had severely injured Dylan at the Cade' house.

Dylan was despicable because he had AIDS and yet wanted to marry Attarah. But the Dawson family would definitely not let this matter slide. Abigail hoped that Mrs. Cade would use all her resources to help them overcome this situation.

Mrs. Cade had a discussion with the rest of the family. Finally, she looked at Abigail's family in the corner. She said, "I will now make two announcements."

Abigail quickly put on a compliant smile.

"From now on, Attarah is no longer the president of Silver Glow Business Group. Leon's family will lose all their shares. Mason Cade will be the new interim president!"

As Mrs. Cade finished, Abigail held onto her husband, echoing his agreement.

Wow.

The rest of the family members applauded and congratulated Mason. Mrs. Cade continued calmly, "Second, the Cade family will not be involved in the idiotic incident that hurt Dylan. Mason, go to Dawson's house to clarify our position."

Mason immediately nodded, "Yes, grandma!"

Abigail was stunned. She shouted, "Mom, you can't just leave us!"

"It's late. I'm going to rest. All of you can leave." Mrs. Cade ignored Abigail's plea and went upstairs.

"Mom!" Abigail shouted, running after Mrs. Cade, but the other family members stopped her. She looked at Lyla, pleading, "Lyla, please help us!"

The mysterious boss wanted Lyla to send forty million dollars overnight, and it shouldn't be difficult for him to resolve the incident. Abigail just hoped that Lyla would go after the mysterious boss on her behalf. Lyla said nothing, but her parents got involved, scolding Abigail, "How could our Lyla bother the boss over such a trivial matter?" Everyone gathered and pushed the family of four out of the villa, ignoring Abigail's plea.

"How am I going to live?" Abigail sat by the roadside in silence for a while before looking up to search for Raicko. She had killed the idiot first. But only Leon was sitting beside her. Attarah and Raicko were not visible. Abigail gritted her teeth and asked Leon, "Where are they?"

He timidly replied, "They just left. Did you let the idiot go?! If he escaped, who can save our family?" Abigail was boiling with anger when suddenly her cell phone rang. Leon quickly suggested, "Your cell phone is ringing. Hurry and answer it first."

"Who is it?!" Abigail asked rudely, realizing it was a stranger's number. "Abigail Jacobs?"

A spooky voice belonging to a woman resonated. Abigail was stunned. She asked again, "Who is this?"

"I am Dylan Dawson's mother! Abigail, remember this. That idiot will die a miserable death. Attarah Cade will live a pathetic life," the woman then hung up.

"It's Mrs. Dawson," Abigail said, feeling chills down her spine spreading from the soles of her feet. Raicko didn't bother her, but her concern for Attarah did. "Hurry. Tell Attarah to leave Nebula!" Abigail shouted and fainted.

Attarah was doing exactly what Abigail wanted her to do. But she wouldn't run away. If she fled, the Dawson family would take out their anger on her parents. She had to stay behind to live or die with her parents.

Attarah was bidding farewell to Raicko. If he didn't stay in Nebula, he could go anywhere.

In the middle of the night, they were at the Nebula subway station. Attarah turned off the motorcycle and handed Raicko a bank card, asking, "Raicko, do you remember when I taught you how to use a bank card? There's not much money here, but it should be enough to live for half a year as long as no one cheats you. After you leave Nebula, check into a suitable hotel. Don't leave the hotel room. Hide there for a few months, and I will come find you."

Raicko shook his head and said, "Sissy, I'm not leaving." Attarah said sternly, "You have to go!"

"What will you do if I leave?"

"You don't need to worry about that. Just take care of yourself."

Then, Attarah opened the passenger door and said, "Hurry and get out of the car!" Raicko didn't move but said softly, "Sissy, I can't live without you."

When she heard what he said, Attarah paused. She looked at Raicko in confusion. Then, she took his cheeks and smiled, saying, "Yes. How could I forget that you're a silly boy? You won't survive without me. Alright then. Don't go. Let's go home."
